Running from Pain. Happy he’s made peace with his truth, terrible things have happened, terrible things are happening and terrible things will happen |
I’m beyond impressed, even more by Datti than Obi. These indeed are men who has enough to offer. I’ll look out for more from them. To other Nigerians who like I was, are still in the dilemma of whom to vote in the next election. I would say beyond hearing men speak, listen. Pay to their words however many or little the price of attention, the truth will always be carried wether or not attempts to obscure it is made by use of many or few words. -Lloyd |
SeaTrade:Respectfully sir/ma, I do not know you and honestly do not understand why you feel disrespected by my asking for an answer to a question. However, I would indulge your counsel in this matter. |
GeneralDae:That’s right, I don’t object to businesses getting taxed. Everyone who transacts and earns an income/revenue indeed would be doing a great good by contributing to the development of the nation. My concern is that focus should be placed on creating an enabling environment where those taxes will come from, the average Nigerian today pays so damn much ivy means on over inflated prices and needless levies that doesn’t go into inclusive nation building. Take the transportation duties, levies and fees paid for instance, what percentage of the total revenue gets remitted to the nation’s purse at the end of the day. I grew up in Lagos and I know very well how much transporters pay to ticketing officials at parks and on the road, who bears the brunt, same low earning citizen and the less fortunate unemployed. Oyinbos do it, yes but the benefits are there to enjoy so you wouldn’t even want to complain. We need candidates with crystal clear blueprints on how they intend to revamp the dying nation. From what I’ve observed most people are choosing their candidates on the basis of tribalistic and ethno-religious biases. We need to move beyond this level of politics to move forward, if we can copy oyinbos on tax matters how about we do same on the electoral process. We need these candidates to come out in the open and debate their positions. Enough of this 1980 styled rallies we call campaigns where people only gather for the pomp and merrymaking. We need quality policy makers and not political gamers. |
SeaTrade:Do you tax the unemployed? Answer! |
GeneralDae:Do you tax the unemployed? |

The question is how did we get to buying a house for 8million in the first place? You want citizens to take credit to buy houses and cars and not for entrepreneurial engagements that will create employment and drive economic growth? |
Fxmansaix:I’m well and good, I hope you’re too. Thank you for checking up. Shout out to everyone in here as well! |
Yankee101:Tinubu thinks differently, he wants to widen the tax net. |

How the Lagos State government and Judiciary responds to this will set a standard going forward. |
Elvis778:These things of which you speak, don't they all start after the child is born? Are there any records of these happening in the womb environment?? Maybe on the premise of baby's womb activities I agree they weren't born empty since they've already started learning to respond to stimulus while still in the sac, emphasis on "response to stimuli" but then again, stimuli from where?? I'm very introverted, some folks put it as self-absorption and I wouldn't think they're wrong. As a child I was very genuinely outspoken, simply put, I always spoke my mind as it was. I don't even try to be unbiased because that's me expressing my truth but guess what, it always got me in trouble with the very people that as a child I was convinced mattered most and ought to feel secure around. Can you imagine what impact that had on my person each time? Now if as a person you don't feel comforted being yourself around trusted individuals, would you be comfortable around strangers/outsiders? Intro-vert = To turn inwards. Man by divine will is meant to express and not impress (in-press), life of the introverted one is made increasingly difficult by constant lack of outward expressions. A man thinks, so he is! Good morning!! |
I would think man was born empty/plain/void..... everything else followed after birth. Some he dropped by the wayside, others grew as he grew because he held on to them. As long as he has breath in his body, he'll keep learning and unlearning wether consciously or unconsciously. Personalities are formed/made. |
IPIGSONMETH:Responsible policy making I guess. |
They'll continue this barbaric act until citizens starts owning guns...make mad men try break enter my house when I get guns na |

Marry that friend who became your best friend. - The Cool Guy |
kumulus:GU UPDATE: Price had no bullish behavior within the marked zone as anticipated, instead it fell through and now it's above another potential buy zone. Technically, I'd love to see more downside on GU at least until the lower daily demand zone is met which will mean more discount for the asset and an opportunity for Commercials to get in at a lower rate/price. Also this particular lower level aligns nicely @1.17350 as an harmonic, hence the interest in seeing it drop further. IF we get a bullish intent in the higher daily demand zone we might see GU fill some imbalance it left since the down run began before shorting further to complete the fourth leg of the harmonic.

Malory:She actually is or what would you call any serious relationship?? |
