AutosRe: 2004 Honda Accord (used by US Dept. of Defense) --Fully Loaded With All Gadgets by KunleA2(m): 8:07pm On Jan 11, 2010
sultaan:
I have not known the DOD or any other US agency to use non american car as part of their known fleet.Maybe it just one of their undercover cars.
Nothin gon tah cars is out of ordinary.Think you are just thorwing out names to get a couple of buck more out of this V6 Accord
Well, at the bases here in cali, there's a white/blue parking sticker that goes right in the front windsheild (above the VIN number area) so that it identifies those who works there for easy access to the bases parking. The seller might have been confusing that as the vehicle to belong to DOD.

In the same token, i've seen some oddball non-american vehicles coming out of the military bases auction too. It could be either way. The VIN will settle that issue tho.

For God sakes, why would I buy an 03' Accord and say it's 04? I mean, lets stop saying what we don't know,  I ordered for it and have every document of it.
Then provide the VIN to settle the issue. I hope that's not hard to do. undecided

TRUCKMAN:
still looking for serious buyer.
You will keep looking. Why isn't the picture available? With the cost of digital camera these days, you want to sell a 2.8m truck with no pics. You expect ppl to leave their house for nothing because you said so.

Its either that you are delusional or the truck dont belong to you at all. As a matter of fact, you never posted any pics in your ad. ever at all huh

Good luck in your sale.

Lexus is more reliable and costs less to maintain than MBZ.

Good luck.
AutosRe: Pls Help: A 1998 Ls400 Or Avalon 2003 by KunleA2(m): 6:32pm On Jan 10, 2010
The genes of both cars are very identical. If money is no object, i will choose the LS400 all day long. I happen to used to own a 1992 before. It was a blast. Surprisingly, despite being a V8 the petrol consumption are very close to each other (Lexus is 25miles/gallon highway, Avalon is 29). The Avalon is a V6 Engine. Lexus is a 4.0L and Avalon is a 3.3L Engine. But you always that the power of the extra 2 cylinders on the LS if duty calls for it. wink

All the same, i will like you to remember the parts cost too. If you are servicing for example, you will need 8 plugs vs 6 plugs etc etc. also the mechanics might be slightly intimidated cos its a Lexus. anything that doesn't say Toyota on it is a problem in Naija. People are bound to advise you against it.

The bells and whistle on the LS is way more than that of the Avalon. For my money, LS gets the vote all the way.

Good luck.

Dizzybizzy:
97k miles on 07 camry shocked
If you consider that a 2007 may have been bought probably in 2006, it makes it an avg of 25k miles per year driven. Camry's will make it to well over 300k miles with proper maintenance with no effort. Or would you have preferred that its rolled back like some cars seen posted here before? wink
