I can help you procure a really nice one from the Auction. I am a registered dealer based here in California and i do attend the auction every week. This Nissan Maxima in the picture will be for auction on Tuesday Feb.2, 2010.
Don't worry there is always more like this for upcoming auctions. It will take about 4weeks after sailing to get to Naija.

It has 44,000 Original miles. Navigation. Leather and its extremely clean as you can see.

This is especially important in naija cos ppl have a very bad maintenance culture. As long as it runs, people dont seem to care. It is especially aggravating when you sometimes see very expensive cars treated like sh#t. undecided

[b]Basically, what it will amt to is that they will have to settle the previous bill and that of your car. The other problem you will again run into is that the car will be acquiring demorrage by now. Which has to be settled before the car is released.

The demmorrage is the fine the port imposes on vehicles that has not been picked up in a specified time allowed. It has nothing to do with the shipping line cos its not their fault. They are holding the car cos of shipper's fault hence the port will clamp down on that car well well.
They might eventually sell the car at the auction.

Since the shipper hasn't paid by now, i am unsure if they will ever pay up. This shows a pattern. It baffles me that people take money for services and don't pay only to get innocent people like you in trouble

This is why some shipping line are insisting that you settle the bill before they take the car so as to avoid these type of wahala. I am afraid that you are stuck at this moment. Since the car is not directly shipped by you, the shipping line will not talk to you cos they didn't do business with you. As far as they are concerned the car belongs to the other guy undecided

Hi everyone if you resides in the UK and happen to be thinking of sending stuffs home please try and avoid Mercyland Services, based in Gravesend, Kent. They are much of non-professionals and fraudulent dudes.
A car they helped shipped via Cotonou since 18th December is still hanging at the Port, because they failed to pay the shipping line. A word of advise to everyone to take a cue.

spring/camelback. Although rides a little rougher but they are virtually maintenance free, hence they are more preferred.

I actually already deposited $2000 to an associate in the US almost 2 weeks ago, and delay is becoming too long, So, lets see what you got.

With all due respect, i am not sure if you are being realistic at all with your request. 2 weeks is barely enough to get things done at all. Are you expecting to find the car at your doorstep in 2 weeks? It takes about 4 weeks to even ship the car.

The guy has to look for the car he is going to buy and depending on your specs, he might not have gotten what is appropriate that befits the specs.

The funds deposited is only enough for only shipping the car with only few change to spare, so he will still be kicking in majority of the funds and like i said, even with all funds paid, you will need a minimum of about 4weeks for the ride to get to you (not counting how long it takes to look for the specs you want).

Without being privy to your correspondence with your contact, the above are just my opinion(s).

The second part of your request is a little bit vague, you need to specify the specs you are looking for (4X4? Leather? Alloys? Mileage? etc).

However, here are some price quote for you:

2007 Highlander N3.7m
2008 Highlander N4.2m

2007 RAV4 N3.2m
208 RAV4 N3.5m

Please remember that these are the base prices. Specific features like Leather, Navigation, 4WD etc will definitely raise your prices.

Both cars are similar yet different. Depending on what you will be using it for. The Xtrarra being design on a solid frame is much stronger and rugged than highlander but the ride is not as smooth in comparison. The highlander will think twice before embarking of very serious unforgiven terrains. Yet its very very smooth riding. Its just like a Camry you know.

So decide on what you will need it for and pick one.

No problem. I can definitely work on getting you the 2003 model. i am not sure if you can get it in Lagos. You can only get the other new beetle there. I will be back with what i find.

The 2003 are limited release edition in Latin America / Mexico. I can definately pull some strings for you. Just give me some time.

Very low ORIGINAL miles, you should notice. There are ones with higher miles that can probably go a little lower in price
