Vying away from recommended lubricant is very chancy at best. Especially if the transmission in both 1998 and 2003 are not the same (they might be, i will check). But its worth a try. However, its still a TRY. Anything can happen. May the first sacrificial lamb step up! |

ycoxyng:While a lower mileage vehicle is more preferable than a higher mileage ones, it is however not the true picture of comparison. It comes down to the usage. A well used car at 150,000 miles is better that a rather abused car at 80,000 miles. Now that you know the history, inspect thoroughly and don't be afraid. Pathfinders especially are known for going well over 300,000 miles with no issues. One of the most durable engines around. Just maintain properly and you will have no regrets. Happy Motoring. |

XHTML:Your request is sort of unreasonable. At least if you have to order from the US. It takes between 17-30days for a vehicle to arrive from the US to Naija. And you have to deliver at least 4-7days before sailing date. Add the dates that you need to search for car, buy and transport to the port with it. You get the idea. If you want it very quick, you probably have to shop in Naija or Cotonou. However, pre-checking the history might also be challenging and might take you longer than the end of the month to get what you are seeking. Good luck out there. |

If my guess is right in your question let me give you my opinion. i had a similar experience with a 2005 Toyota Sequoia that was showing tire under inflation which turned out to be a wrong code from the tire sensor. The tech plugged in a obd II reader via the port by the left knee area on the driver side of the vehicle. He then re-input the correct sensor id code and it was solved. This was done after knowing the code of the sensor itself which is always written on the sensor going over the valve stem. The whole re-inputting took less that 10mins. I guess everything is easy if you know what you are doing I hope this helps. Good luck. |
