Timehin:The QX4 and Pathfinder are basically same car as far as engine and gear is concerned. The parts on the infiniti is more expensive tho. So i will get the pathfinder cos is more rugged than the RAV4. However the RAV4 consumes less petrol. If you ever consider to get the RAV4, make sure its either 04 or 05. Good luck |

Some salvage auctions are strictly catering to dealers cos its less hassle for them. Also, they are worried that if you bid you won't run away without paying for what you bid on. However, i think if you check www.iaai-bid.com you can register with about $200. However, you might have a limited ability in bidding. Try and check with them.
