Not stoked bout the dude at all...tried listening to his songz but it's unfortunate the guy totally thinks he's better than he actually is...that's what makes me sick of him...btw who expects him to have a huge male following,chics dig him more...
9ja people have this annoying attitude of tagging any person that critique the punk they like as "hater"...people should know the world doesn't revolve around their bitch...

Try bands like snow patrol,kings of leon,cold play,the fray and ofcourse Mumford and sons...
Those bands are great...Imma die happily knowing I'm a fan of these bands...loool
Their songs have been featured on tv shows and movies many times...infact first time I listened to the fray was when "how to save a life" was played on greys anatomy...same goes for snow patrol "chasing cars" played on the S2 finale of greys...but seriously these bands I listed play great music..

@Wordsmith yeah I'm with you on bloc party is nice, got one of their tracks which is "signs"...it's really cool but haven't heard much from them
@Edoyad, florence and the machine is definitely legit cus florence welch's voice is wonderful...I wouldn't classify their songs as rock tho but as contemporary music,more like sarah mclachlan type of music...
Good to know people listen to good music

One thing about some of these songs is that the moments in that particular scene or the act might make the song sound so cool....but later when you download and listen,you just ask ya self "WTF"...pretty example is "weight of us" by sander bohlke..it was played on the vampire diaries season1(I think) and also grey's anatomy...that song was just not it when I downloaded it. dunno maybe it was just me but that happens sometimes

I get most of my songs from shows and movies too and they are way too many to list but since you are a huge fan of rock,you should know some them...oh I remember "Wonder" by jack savoretti(really nice) played in grey's anatomy and one tree hill....

Got many but right now Christina perri's "A thousand years" and matt nathanson "All we are" comes to my mind.

Joshua just reminds me so much of fantasia even tho i think josh is better..he was consistent all through the competition.
I'm not aggrevied josh didn't win coz i'm more of a jessica fan but whatever the last 3 are gonna get signed anyways..
This has been the best season in a while(in terms of talent) but this show tired and yeah i miss simon

While i agree joshua and jessica are a mile better than philips(in vocals)..P2 seems to be the only contestant that knows the kind of music he wants to put out there,he was just so true to himself all through,technically he and Elise were the best coz they got this singer/songwriter thing..
Jessica has the best vocals there,she hits those high notes perfectly and i think she was born 20yrs late coz when i listen to her i remember mariah carey and whitney houston but this girl needs to grow and know the kind of music she wanna sell..

the tourist - even as a huge fan of johnny,i hate this one more than 'the secret window'.
All Adam sandler movies - i blacklisted him immediately after seeing "jack and jill".
Green lantern - This sh!t just wasn't it for me,it's so forgettable.
New years' eve and all other star studded romantic comedies(valentines day,she's not that into you)..

This is down to many factors like...
A)There are less roles written for kids or the so called teenagers
B)lazy casting: Even if characters and plots are written for kids,a typical 9ja director would rather pick his friends' kid for the role..9ja don't do casting call,i remember pretty well that thousands of kids audition for the lead role in "home alone"..
C)parenting factor: even if there are casting calls,how many 9ja parents would support their kids to pursue acting as such age..
Personally,i would support a kid's acting career tho education should be the main priority...

@OP,i think you should give him some time,go on with your life in 9ja...and i implore you when you get to call him again,just tell him how much you've missed him and all,don't sound desperate by telling him bout your new suitor(that's a NO NO),get him to tell you how he's doing over there,let him know you might be far away but you are there with him too...you might not know what he's going through over there.
Pls try be calm,don't do some crazy shite out of desperation...Goodluck!

TvD season3 episode 21..
Handsdown best episode of the season,considering how shitty this show got with season3.If this episode was part of season2,it would just be a typical episode...that's how better last season was compared to this..
And btw the "Elena" character is just borderline annoying,i wouldn't mind if writers just kill the biatch off or something...overall i like this ep and i'm looking forward to the next(finale);that's some feeling i haven't had much this season.

Seriously,this chic's acting is average and i think she's pretty much overrated...My mum's her biggest fan so sometimes i get to watch some of her works..and unfortunately i don't see anything to match the hype she gets..yeah her fans may argue that she ain't working with the right material(script,director) but a great act will shine through even in some subpar material..now she's got a very good material to work with,and i'll advise her to start researching,get into the character...prove herself as the international superstar(not local champion)they claim she is..
Btw i ain't hating,i love her...she's hot

Spartacus season2 "vegeance" marathon- first 3eps were boring ,the rest not bad but the story telling on that show is crap,the writing wasn't good *imo*,sure preferred season1" blood and sand"...
@Mr.resource, same old shite with gossip girl*smh* the only thing that sounds interesting is a new person as chuck mum,if i'm not mistaken a woman(fraud) claimed to be his mum in s3(seriously? recycling storyline)..and i saw this shite bout ivy/charlie who carol paid in s4 finale to impersonate her real daughter..tho those storyline sounds like drama but the writers in that show are wack,so i guess i might be letdown just like the whole chuck/blair/dan triangle,what bout that boring prince guess he's off?..i might check the next ep to see the chuck mama drama sounds interesting/boring..writers still using my fav character chuck as a plot device*yawn*

@Mr.Resources i agree with you about the alex and the udinov storyline being dead but i'm sure the return of Ari and Amanda will bring it back...i read somewhere craig(the producer) saying Ari and Amanda won't be back until the finale where everything with percy comes to head...I sure can't wait.
I'm suprised you want the storylines bout the black boxes back,i was getting bored of it except they visit an ops as deadly as that operation from s1 finale) i wanna see what it's about..

Wow! is an understatement for this episode..it was one great tv hour,Maggie Q acting is terrific,mayn this show is fuckin good way too good to be canceled..hats off to the writers and the cast

Saw the Season2 premiere last night...what a way to start the season,Thank God for the holiday i got time to watch episode 2...
@Viera..kindly send the 2nd and 3rd instalment of the book series to my mail kayone_rox@yahoo.com...i read the first instalment which was the same as the first season of the show..The fuckin great thing is that the show didn't change anything(except the age of the kids)...the book is tasty,just love it and the excitement just goes into the show which is so well-written and acted.
PS: can't wait for the dragons in action

Trueblood has always been better than TVD every season...trueblood has way better premise than tvd...interms of acting,plots,character development trueblood blows vampire diaries away
Tho TvD is nice and i like it's pop-rock culture dynamics but as a fan of both i'll take trueblood anyday
