uncleabbey: Hello guys, Is there a way to the beat the online IOM registration in Lagos , I want a much earlier because of my plans. Is there a bypass? How I did mine: I picked the nearest appointment, choose New Zealand instead of U.K. on their online booking site, but paid for U.K. test. On my appointment date, I got there and my name was called under the New Zealand list. Spoke to the security guys calling the name that there was a mistake, told him I’m testing for U.K. but a mistake occurred when I was completing the online form, showed em my passport and U.K. test payment receipt that confirmed my name on the list. I was asked to go in and was given the U.K. tag and not New Zealand. I did that just so I could get an early appointment instead of queuing under the U.K. long list. I got tested that day and collected my result the next day. |

“Increase staffing to reduce waiting times for visas” I saw this petition link on Reddit and I am like we aren’t the only one on the waiting window. Says; At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition. Currently 6,812 of 10,000. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/615711 |

SoapQueen: Her marriage crashed. She was used and dumped. She went back to square one. People who hyped her back then, abandoned her when she was no longer hypeworthy.
The entertainment industry is a blood sucking demon. They suck the life out of a youngling, then toss out the carcass while reaching for a fresh victim.
They chewed her like new gum, and spat her when they ingested all her sweetness. She'll be alright las las.

Ray7878: As said already, decree absolute, marriage certificate, you can add a few of your wedding photos on the application as well. Change of name means nothing to be honest.
Just a follow up question, about your wife’s previous marriage (Where did that happen….in Nigeria or UK?) Thank you Mr. Ray. Her previous marriage ceremony was in Nigeria, and the decree absolute was also issued in Nigeria. |

mimilyrics: Not compulsory. Your wedding certificate is sufficient to link you both along with other documents that prove that your marriage is genuine. Noted! Thank you so much. |

Good morning All,
So far, so good the prompt responses and quality information I have read here has really helped a great deal. I appreciate you all.
However, I have a question regarding the application I am about to submit.
My wife has just completed her divorce process and she’s been issued her divorce papers here in Nigeria in March. April we got married and I am about to submit my spousal visa application. She’s a British citizen.
Now my question; Is it compulsory she go for a change of name before I submit my application? Is our registry marriage certificate and her divorce papers enough to justify her not having my name officially yet? Needed to clear this doubt before I proceed.
Thank you. |

Ray7878: I would say pay the lower amount. They would accept your payments slip and you would still do your test. My wife paid 4k more than what she was meant to pay. She paid 58k in Oct 2021 when she did hers. And when she got there the next day they told her it was 54k. She couldn’t get the 4k back lol. Nigeria happened to the remaining 4k lmao . Thanks for sharing your experience bro! |

Hi guys,
Who has recently gotten their TB test done, could you please share the exert amount you paid in Naira?
Some said 57,800 another said 64,200. I am so unsure due to the unstable USD rate in Nigeria. Kindly share exert amount if you have recently paid for this test.
Thank you. |
