Tamaki is gradually getting nerfed, especially around people like Blast and Saitama, she couldn't even take down Black Sperm, and later get rag doll by Saitama.

BTW there was an Otaku Connect that held in Port Harcourt on the 5th of December, the place was filled up. There are so much people of culture present in Nigeria oh.

Pipo Password is a fantastic soundtrack, I've never been the anime soundtrack guy but I know a good one when I it.

That said, Trigger has definitely gone downhill. And yes, Promare—while decent in its own right—was ultimately just a rehash of concepts and designs from older Trigger and Gainax projects crafted to awaken your Gurren Lagann nostalgia and manipulate you into thinking that it was a great movie.

Now let's their other projects. IMO, Darling in the Franxx, SSSS Gridman, and BNA can't be compared to Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, and if I dare say, Inferno Cop. It seems to me that their more recent shows are generally weaker than their earlier stuff. Gone is the childish, reckless creative freedom they had in the past.

Even when they were dropping low-budget 2fps skits on YouTube back in the day. The last thing I could say about a Trigger anime was that it was boring. However I found myself using that weird a lot when watching BNA, Darling in the Franxx, and second half of Gridman.

Sorry for the long rant but before I joined this board, the running joke in online weeb communities was that Trigger was going to save anime. But today, they're just another studio. Not a bad one by any stretch but not a great one either.

Started Space Patrol Luluco last night and its fantastic. You can tell that this project was someone's baby because of the amount of heart of into it. It is the embodiment of Studio Trigger's values and definitely one of their best shows.

Watching it makes me realize how much Trigger has gone downhill in recent times.

I've always had an irrational hatred for Bakugan. I just thought it was bad.

Pokemon on the other hand, I'm similar to you. I played Gold, Sapphire, Emerald, Platinum, Black, and White 2. Never got a 3DS or Switch so I started playing ROM hacks on emulators. I also play Pokemon Showdown online against real opponents.

Expecially the season one fanservice in places they should not be in, the pacing was bad, they have good animation but a very bad director, i dropped fire force and continued like 4times, i dont know how girls clothes come off without any reason like there is some perv God making their clothes fly off.
