Najdorf:We love realism in anime but we don't want an add-on of stupidity. That's all. ![]() |
CoolUsername:I don't see how finally using your brain cells is praiseworthy though and I definitely don't see how he's better than 90% of anime MCs lmao, like WTF is that statistics. ![]() |
CoolUsername: that's not what people complain about anybody would react like that it's simply his sh*tty personality that people have a problem with. Why does he keep leaping at things? He behaves stupidly and reacts foolishly to so many things. There's something wrong with people who can't see what's wrong with Subaru and even defend his crappy attitude. ![]() |
Arthurity1:Goku is a high universe/low multiverse buster he has a lot of feats In support of it. Yes Gojou has hax but hax aren't omnipotent and can be beaten. If you claim instant transmission is pointless then put forward an argument for why it won't, same way I explained why it would. PS:
|
NoonMasamune:If I filter out those kind of movies I'm only left with direct anime sequel/spin-off movies. But you can watch Kizumonogatari and No Game No Life - Zero without watching their animes and also Promare. If you haven't already seen them. |
NoonMasamune:Mental capacity isn't literally a person's intelligence just ability to make decisions. Just because I have to read 2+2 doesn't mean that I have to know it equals 4. I can look at something without having to understand it. Your eyes detect light reflecting of objects and your brain converts that to an image knowing what said image actually is, is secondary. Now If you're performing such actions at light speed then of course you can process information at light speed. And that's all I also have to say, Goku wins no matter how you spin. EOD. |
randomShek:I'm going to to hope the second season is a better adaptation of the material. The first season was just nonsense for the most part... |
NoonMasamune:In this case they are in a battle so of course he's fully aware of everything around him. There's no "raw information" like you're saying, unlimited void wasn't explained to be like that. Gojou himself estimated that you're hit with half a years worth of normally perceived information within 0.2 seconds i.e the kind of things a human brain can process like images/videos, smells, tastes, sound, and things you feel (by touch) the volume of it is half a years worth yet you experience it all in 0.2 seconds repeatedly if your brain can't keep up you die. Now remember that they pointed out that this for an ordinary person. People with curse energy (who aren't even mountain level) can withstand it better now a low multiverse level being? It's child play. Like the zip bomb you keep mentioning a normal commercial computer would freeze but a super computer with enough storage and processing power can take on all the Peta bytes of data thrown at it. Stop wanking Gojou to high heaven he's pretty strong with cool hax but there's a limit to the effects of said hax. A mountain level dude isn't beating a low multiverse level being. |
NoonMasamune:You're misunderstanding I'm not saying it's not an infinite amount of finite spaces and I'm not saying they don't exist. You probably just don't get what virtual means in this case. Each one of those infinite amounts of finite spaces is called a virtual space meaning a space that isn't there originally but being used as if it was always there it's basically like a computer using virtual addressing but memory is space and the computer is reality...don't know if you get it but we're saying the same thing so no real argument here. Now again you're misunderstanding reaction isn't exclusively involuntary if I throw a pillow at you, you can perceive it and decide to dodge it or not I.e you can react to it I.e your brain is capable of processing the action of the pillow being thrown, it does it so fast that you can react to it. If instead I shot you with a gun you'd not be able to dodge because your brain's perception rate isn't fast enough to allow you react to a bullet. Now for goku even the universe getting destroyed in seconds (transversal of something the radius of the universe or greater) is something he can follow. Gojo's unlimited void forces your brain to go through information of which the amount is roughly equal to what a person normally perceives in half a year within 0.2 seconds repeatedly if you're incapable of that you're paralyzed and eventually die. Goku can process everything no problem and the technique is therefore pointless against him. Again Goku wins regardless of how you spin it. |
NoonMasamune:Goku using instant transmission from the afterlife to the real world means all those constraints are negligible (for him at least) so whether or not he can sense past infinite distance isn't a problem. Gojo's energy no matter how large and how efficiently he uses it is not something on the level of destroying a universe not to mention a (limited) multiverse like Goku so comparing the amount of energy they have is pointless. Yeah he can only seal him if he comes prepared... Unlimited void won't affect goku. Unlimited void forces half a year of the information a human brain normally perceives on you in 0.2 seconds and trying to process this massive amount of information would normally paralyze you and that's it. BUT Goku's reaction time AND perception speed is MASSIVELY FTL+ like Comparable to the speed of the explosion from the ki sphere which SSG Goku and Beerus created in their final clash, which threatened to engulf the entire universe in mere moments. So if you're that fast processing half a year's worth of normally perceived information for every 0.2 seconds is child's play. I'd do the math for proper explanation but I'm lazy and I don't think nairaland's bot will allow a post with a bunch asterisks in it anyways. Goku wins regardless of how you spin it. And lastly yes Gojo's infinity creates virtual spaces;
|
CoolUsername:Yeah. I'm guessing everyone arguing against it are those who don't actually understand what abilities Goku have or how they work or simply haven't seen dragon ball or whatever... |
Arthurity1:LOL okay lemme explain as carefully as I can. Like NoonMasamune pointed out already the real number 0 can't make contact with the real number 1 because there's an infinite amount of numbers that occurs between them. Now Gojou's infinity applies said logic on space two fix points 0 and 1, you're at 0 trying to reach 1 but you'll never make it to one because you're forced to go through (in reverse) 0.1...0.05...0.025...0.005...0.0025...0.0005...0.00025...0.00005...1*10^-infinity (1 multiplied by 10 of the power of minus infinity i.e an in fact undefined starting point) so basically it's impossible to reach 1 from 0 (unless your speed surpasses infinity). But 1 is a fixed point and it exists so it CAN be reached if you jump by a progression of 0.5 twice you reach 1, if you jump by a progression of 1 then you of course reach 1. Instant transmission does exactly that it jumps to whatever number Gojou is (in this case 1) and can therefore actually make contact with him. PS: I mean Goku can force a Kamehameha to Gojou's exact location and damage him. And if you stubbornly disagree with all of this Goku can seal him and he can obviously outlast Gojou's curse energy then finish him. EOD. |
NoonMasamune: Arthurity1:Lmao, you guys keep acting like infinity is an omnipotent and invulnerable technique but it really isn't, the technique is only useful if you have to go through every one of those infinite virtual spaces. Goku can bypass that with instant transmission which instantly allows him to go to wherever the heck Gojou is and yes it can obviously work even if the target location is in a separate/isolated space like when goku use it to go from the "afterlife" to the "real world". I'll like to remind you that this can be done Instantly plus Gojou's reaction is what? Hypersonic? Goku is MASSIVELY FTL and he can do an instant transmission Kamehameha. Then there's mafuba a sealing technique which works on anyone and you can't break out from yourself regardless of the extent of your power and friendly reminder; it worked on vegeta and future zumasu - beings capable of destroying a universe. Gojou doesn't have infinite energy. And regardless of how large his energy store is, it is not something capable of destroying an infinite 3 dimensional space (I.e a universe) nor something capable of destroying a system consisting of several separate space-time continuums ranging from 2 to a thousand (I.e a multiverse) like Goku is capable of. In conclusion Goku would destroy Gojou like I previously said. EOD. |
nani667:Only Rimuru and Anos can definitely beat Goku. Saitama is a maybe. It's impossible for Gojou. |
Arthurity1:Lmao. Goku would destroy Gojou. |
iamNegro:Redo of Healer/Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinahoshi |
randomShek:Yes sir. Just spreading the word.
|
hitsugaya:It's because you're uncultured. Once you've achieved enlightenment like we have you'll understand and eventually laugh at your current self. |
nani667:I read close to 100 chapters (I think) of this series' web novel and i eventually got fed up with reading it. I tried the Manga and it was just a watered down version of the novel. And the anime will probably be even worse (as usual). |
Kaycee7:Thank you (bows in appreciation). |
nkiliuzo:Sorry, I don't know, I'm not watching the anime (I plan on binging it when it's complete). So Kaycee7 CoolUsername since you guys are watching the anime please tell us what episode the sword chick showed up. PS: in case the anime hasn't reached that point yet, sorry for the spoiler (performs dogeza). |
CoolUsername:Lmao. SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK. |
nkiliuzo:Yeah bullet and the (forgot what she's called so...) sword chick haven't done anything to him but he tests (traps) them to see if they are decent the sword chick for example, the MC simply dresses like a girl and haves a drink with her and what does she do? Drugs him, kidnap him then tries to r@pe him (like WTF...lmao) so with that he has justification (and all the proof viewers/readers need to justify) everything he does to her. EOD. PS: his powers do make sense I mean it's magic FFS with an actual logical explanation of how it works. Oh and remember he's a nut job. |
nkiliuzo:His healing ability allows him to understand a person's body and experience everything they have in order to heal/restore them back to how they were BUT since he has full understanding of the body he can manipulate it as he wishes hence why he can change how people look, alter their memory or instantly know how to use their skills and stuff. Like just read the web novel of you want to know how his skills work. You'll see it's all logical (for the most part like I keep saying). Oh and the MC is pretty much insane (this becomes more obvious if you read the novel and see the kind of internal dialogue he has) I mean I don't see anyone going through all that and staying sane anyways . So the story's about a mad man enacting karma on those who drove him mad. Should he be a better person than them? Ideally yes but he's past the point of being mentally sound enough to even think that, so he instead gives them what they all - all things considered - more than deserve. EOD. |
NoonMasamune:One of the ways his healing magic works is that he experiences everything whoever he's healing has experienced - their entire life up to that point, their feelings of happiness, sadness, anger, pain the whole package - then he's able to fully understand how their body works and what it was previously like then return their body back to the state it was at any point in their lives. That's how he can grow back people's limb learn the skills they had etc. Now when he got the (what's it called again) philosopher's stone (I think) from the demon lord he had enough mana to perform his "healing" on a planetary scale. So he reverted the entire planet (everyone and everything - himself included) back to the state it was four years ago (according to the story's time-line). And that makes sense to me. The only bullshit about it was that everyone's memories were also turned back four years the MC included, but he gained back all his memories because of (here comes the bullshit) "his deep feelings of resentment etched into his soul" and somehow he's the only one special enough in that kind of world who remembers. So apart from that everything made sense (once again for the most part) |
nkiliuzo:I've read the first three volumes (and part of the fourth volume) of the web novel and all the stuff his healing ability could do made perfect sense (for the most part), so it's probably the anime not giving proper explanations. Yes the r@pe is stupid but nonetheless justified (again for the most part). And finally it's just revenge p0rn, it's overall nothing deep. Just watch it if you like that kind of stuff or don't watch it if you hate (like you obviously do). EOD. |
Kaycee7:Thank you. |
CoolUsername:U r wlcm. |
Kaycee7:LOL, i've been busy with school work ni jare, I just caught up with the thread this morning. |
CoolUsername:An anime adaptation has already been been announced since. I think it was the same week the final chapter was released sef. |
TheCreatorVerse:Obviously she could. Like you've read the latest chapters and seen what she could do against and withstood from orochi+psykos right? |

and I definitely don't see how he's better than 90% of anime MCs lmao, like WTF is that statistics.
