Congrats 2 those dat made it. As d originator of this thread i will like to appreciate the contributions of every one who made this forum a lively one. For those dat made it, count yourself lucky, as God also will surely make a way for us dat do not too. Though I scored 69, chose Genomics and was not selected it does mean the end of the world. In life, there are Ups and Downs. It is yours today, it might be ours tomorrow! THANKS NAIRALANDERS FOR MAKING THIS FORUM A SPLENDID ONE. |

Nairalanders, dis delay is pregnant with meaning. Corruption; a canker-worm eaten into d fabrics of Nigerians. How are we so sure that d compiled list is not being delayed for some manipulative reasons e.g names of Nija grads in diaspora that didn't make d list. Do U think d Minister will approve same list if the names of her ppl were dropped? See, NUC will never come out to tell d public d cause of delay. IF IT TAKES FG/NUC DIS LONG TO PRODUCE LIST OF NAMES; CONSEQUENTLY, IT WUD TAKE THEM ETERNITY TO RELEASE FUNDS & FINALIZE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THOSE SCHOOLS Okojies sons & daughters, I kno U visit dis site on daily basis to convey feedback to him. PLEASE TELL HIM TO HASTEN UP. |

I feel NUC was intimidated by the Kano and Osun initiatives to send over 500 graduates abroad. |
@ Logobon 72, I initiated this thread out of curiosity. I was a bit restless afta d test 2 know d outcome of this screening exercise. I think if any other criteria is used aside the Chams conducted test. Then NUC have failed the President and the entire Nigerians. To start with, I had to travel to Abuja all because of this test, risking my life on those Nigerians roads, ( please as a consolation, Transport fares should be available for all takers of the tests at the venue). Please for those of us that have connections with NUC tell them that if they actually want to use other criteria, the test should be conducted in the 6 geo-political zones, with WAEC results, CGPA taken into accounts with the aptitude tests results next year. Please for transparency and clarity, NUC should publish the names of first set of graduates that fall within d Upper percentile. PLEASE TELL THE EMINENT PROFESSORS, 'WE KNOW THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE, LET THEM APPLY WISDOM' IF THEY LACK, TELL THEM TO CONTACT THE FOUNTAIN OF WISDOM. I KNOW HE WILL SURE GIVE - book of Proverbs. Pls for those that cares, I scored 50% |
@ UCL/EDINBURGH guys: U beta apply with other sources of funding to get admission letter and use FG/PRESSID as a back up. If not, U might miss the admission. |
@Ilade: If ur broda is so convinced that he didn't receive any results. Then he must hav entered a wrong mobile number while applying, becos all candidates shd hav received their scores by now. Let him email Nuc, Kindly check email address @ www.nuc.edu.ng.com |
Since u have a good score on GRE/TOEFL/IELTS. Apply to d top 25 Uni b4 the admission elapse |
Well, there is some level of transparency. However, the final decision lies in the hand of the implementation committee, chaired by Prof.Okojie. We don't know the criteria 4 selection. i.e. if it would be the best 100 applicants or best candidates in each course of choice. The bottom line is still that one must pray to be favoured, whatever the case may be. |
Since the criteria for selection is unknown, we pray God count us among the few that we be selected. |
