Whats d evidence he is asking for? |
Give it to Lagos PDP; Matured opposition |
Caveat emptor. Most of the fuel stations are doing ojoro with the Qty while adjusting the price per litre to deceive unsuspecting buyers. I bought 143 along Lag Ibd express this weekend, yes Fagbems to be precise, and I regreted falling for the 2 naira supposed price reduction. I have resolved to buy 145 per litre at major dealers stations than less at some mushroom stations after that experience. |
jomoh:That's the problem with the quality of followership. If he had replaced an Ibo man with Hausa, imagine what NL would have been today. Lets drop our ethnic and religious bias and support who ever is given responsibility to lead. |
It has always been about the money to individual pockets. Several other mushroom groups will spring up but will fail woefully too. God bless Nigeria. |
Hello pilot, pardon my too many questions. 1. Do air traffic controllers have jurisdiction over a nation's air space ONLY or does an arik intl flight Eg leaving lagos to cotonou gets ATC service from d Nigerian controllers alone? 2. I noticed, using flight radar online sites that all or majority of Asia and middle east bound flights that took off from mmia lagos flies out of naija from lag via abuja, through bauchi in the air. Why don't dey just take d short cut of Lagos thru calabar and follow dat trajectory to their destination? 3. On board aero from Abj to lagos around 11pm some months back, we cruised at 18000 to 20000 feet on a small plane. Was scary because I was used to 33000feet or so. What influences the choice of cruising altitude other than the air traffic controller? 4.when pilots "tears through" thick dark clouds in d air,do they still have visibility from d cockpit irrespective of how dark d cloud is? 5. Someone once said from geography days dat it rains from our atmosphere and that planes flies above our atmosphere. In other words, rain nor dey beat aeroplane lol! Is it correct or wrong? 6.dont dey take communication classes in pilot training? Why do pilots talk so fast that dey don't seem to care if the passengers picked what they said so fast or not? Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. |
Do they do same abroad ![]() |

Fact is: Even when the benefits of PMB's actions or inaction starts rolling in, people would naturally not attribute it to him. Life is sacred. It's a shame some people see scam in everything. God bless NA God bless PMB God bless Nigeria |
Its more like. 1. Govt jacked up electricity tariff for darkness, NLC was not bothered and it pretended like everything was ok 2. State governors took huge bail out fund from FG yet still owe backlog of unpaid salaries, NLC saw nothing wrong in workers being owed 3. Permanent staff were being casualised and turned contract staff by chinese, indians and even Nigerian bosses in their fatherland, NLC 'formed" initial gra gra, drove down (when they deemed fit) collected egunje and left the fate of the staff worse than it was before they intervened. 4. Fuel sold for over N180 pl outside Lagos with long endless queues to buy even in Lagos, NLC pretended like all was well. 5.National assembly treated themselves to huge wage bill while workers languished with unpaid N18,000 minimum wage, NLC pretended like all was well. 6. Previous govts made series of promises to fix refineries and build new ones whenever NLC embarked on strike action in the past, yet failed all those promises after having laced NLC officials with Ghana must go bags of money, NLC saw nothing wrong in it. 7. Corruption held sway with previous successive govt amidst serious infrastructural decays and poor social investment, NLC pretended like all was well. 8. Graduates were fleeced of their N1000 in the name of immigration job and some even lost their lives, yet NLC pretended like all was well. Is it now that NLC is forming activity in the name of strike that the masses should pretend that NLC means business? This will turn out to be the most "indefinite"/ endless strike because NLC will quietly go back to work without having the courage/pride to say they have suspended the strike action. |
Did d senators not see the bad roads before allegedly budgeting 100billion for Keke, okadas etc and all such political "empowerments" in d form of constituency projects? |
Abuja through Okenne,Auchi etc to Agbor..5:hours road trip Agbor through Abraka, Eku to Warri..1. 20minutes Warri direct to Ughelli... 30minutes or less. The trip times are estimate from experience Take off early enough from Abj. Safe trip. Don't drink and drive. |
This is the best news of this year so far. As the present govt gets blames from most quarters for Nigeria's current situation rightly or wrongly, I believe pmb govt should be commended for creating the right atmosphere for civilian JTF to have found the girl. It's just one person u'd say but 1 girl found out of 200 is serious achievement and a practical demonstration of hope that the rest would be found by God's grace. God bless PMB God bless Nigeria Updated: The rescued girl reportedly confirmed that all the 200 kidnapped girls are alive except for 7 that are late. All surviving girls reportedly kept in Sambisa Forest close to Cameroun border. Source SR twitter feed. Imagine if fire was returned to BH in time as we are doing now. |
Heading to the office, lots of serious meetings long fixed for today even before NLC woke up to pms price increase. Ikorodu road traffic currently looks relatively free. CMS traffic inward island moving. One word: observe the strike today by staying back at home IF you got other jobs! |
TUC pulls out yet NLC want to go it solo even when there are 2 factions? I hope Wabba faction won't end up "killing" NLC finally with this hard line position. |
Labour is just not coordinated at all. You cant use the same old format (strike) all the time. The world has moved on; engagement and negotiations are the buzz words now. Labour has been ambushed. Any strike would be viewed as illegal and abuse of court order. |
Seems 112.50 is the destination. I see govt shifting ground knowing too well that it would be cheaper to "supplement" the difference in pms price than bear the huge wage burden of increased minimum wage over N18k |
tempest01:I dont think you are entirely correct. Modular refineries: • can be set up and be in operation within several weeks after arrival at a fully-prepared and completed site, • allow a single operator to restart the plant from a cold start in less than four hours and have the plant in full operation, http://mgiprocess.com/modular-refineries.htm |
States should come up with laws that supports their existence. Come to think of it. If serious pronouncements of this nature results from mere peace meeting of interest groups, why exactly do we need state assemblies and the huge cost of running them? |
Whats the use of your account number here bro? Modify and remove your acc nos for obvious reasons. Why take the risk? |
@ Seun and Lalastical. Sorry this request is not "snake" related, I hear people often say thats your password lol. Can we poll this NLC threatened strike and let the voice of NLanders be heard for once. |
Can someone close by confirm this please: Rano Oil and Gas (Kano) reportedly assures to sell PMS at N107/litre in its stations nation wide. |
How sweet. Capital oil should do same for his ibo brothers. While Forte and oando should do yoruba proud. Let's all put this nation FIRST in all we do. |
It's been rumored that FG will dangle N45,000 minimum wage. If that's true, I pity labour. If your members can't get their N18000 minimum wage across all d states when crude was over $100 is it N45k or N56k you ll get when crude with naija delta bombing lowered output is doing less than $40? |
Turning a strangely negative situation to a remarkably positive one thru a matured reaction is one ability that GMB shud be celebrated for. To think that his honest frank but respectfully incisive response was impromptu speaks volume of his wisdom. God bless GMB God bless Nigeria. |
Hate him or love him, you ve just got to be pleasantly surprised with the turn of things. When was the last time a govt official made information of road projects available even before the disbursement of funds? The mechanism being put in place to track milestones along the way sounds interesting too. For once govt officials are talking in terms of deliverables and how to evaluate performance |
Glad to know that Lagos Calabar rail counterpart funding of N60b made it after all d budget fuss. |
jmoore: Do we always have to write like Shakespeare? I prefer Obayagbon's big english to this Ezekwesili's figure of speech. |
Looks like everything just MUST Change all at once. The ministers opinion have some truth in it no doubt but the way and manner they disseminate their advice sometimes makes it loose the intended meaning along the line. |
ProfessorPeter:Modify to read "secede". |
Best thread loading. |
That's the right message. You can't play saint when all the stolen goods are entrusted with you for safe keeping even when u know consciously that those goods were first and foremost stolen goods. |
