Institutions can do something about this , maybe lecturer should only be allow to lectures and not set exam or mark script since everything is down to syllabus. Once their power are reduce to lectures only. All these non sense will reduce.

Randy lecturers are well known to everybody in the departments and faculty. As a student, when I was in school there are lecturers you cannot accuse of sexually predating girls because nobody will believe you,they will always be safe because no female student can't blackmail them, nobody will believe them, their students can vouch for them anytime anyday but there are lecturers that everybody in the dept. as he-goats.
Sex for marks is not a hidden phenomenon in every dept. It all boils down to integrity and it only takes one case for a lecturer to lose all his integrity.

Just go to any university and ask around for the crooks, the students will point you in the right direction and they are always right. Same way they pointed towards Dr Boniface, before he was investigated and caught.
