Well dakmanzero, I'll agree with you considering the points you made in your reply, but you know that there are some great kick ass games on console you can't find on PC (like the fighting games which you said is a special case even which is fine, but you can't beat the experience of such games like the mortal kombat series, tekken, dead or alive e.t.c. i love fighting games) and that brings me to your counter challenge on mention 5 kick-ass console games that are NOT firstparty titles, and are not on the PC (or confirmed coming for PC)  as well as their host console.

1. Ninja Giaden Black (though not a first party game but it's xbox exclusive, rated 9.4/10 by gamespot)
2. Mortal kombat Shaolin Monks (which is an adventure fighting game, rated 7.5/10 by gamespot)
3. Destroy all humans (rated 7.5/10 by gamespot)
4. Mercenaries (I've played this game and it's good, rated 8.8/10 by gamespot)
5. SOCOM 3: US Navy SEALs (kick-ass Modern Tactical Shooter game, rated 8.9/10 by gamespot)

Pc gaming is a good idea but hardly would you find more interesting hardcore games on pc. Take a look at the games on the ps3 and xbox360, e.g. Heavenly swords, Killzone, Gears of war etc. you can not get games on pc that's on console like god of war, mortal kombat and other good console games. I know that there are some few good games on pc but they're not enough.

I know this games can be developed for pc also, but how many pc gamers have a strong pc to compliment the game. To get good games for pc that would stand side by side with the xbox360 and the ps3 you would need to buy a pc with next gen hardware like the graphic card and hardware, which is very expensive. Even if you get a strong pc, you would find some few strong games on it because game developers wants to sell and profit from their efforts in creating good games but if only 30% of pc gamers have the hardware to play their next gen games that implement the functionality of the next gen graphic card like the Nvidia 7900 GTX that would result into highly detail games and high definition games.

In conclusion, console games is a must for hard gamers. I just hope that the price drops down soon.

i taught most of the ps2 console owners in nigeria uses pirated ps2 game discs, do u mean they all buy original discs.how much is a ps2 game disc sold for in nigeria,both new and pirated ones, am just curious

what do you guys think about the cost of buying, owning and running a next gen consoles. Take for example the pricing of the ps3 which is approximately 500 and 600 box and its games costing approximately 60 box each. The xbox360 is not as expensive as the ps3, but it ain't cheap also as well, I guess it's high time gamers need to get a job except if you are rich. I just hope the pricing goes down soon.

And come to think of it, do you think our fellow nigerians back home can afford this, plus it's going to be hard to hack and pirate the game rom of xbox 360 and ps3 (even though hackers have found a way to backup xbox360 game rom) which it's going to be a bit expensive also, and remember that the ps3 would be using Blue-ray roms for High definition gaming. I think all the next gen consoles and games would be defeated by the hacker's community, time would tell.

Yeah, opera does uses a little bit of your computer resource, but it is very very very minima, that it is not a problem. It doesn't makes your pc slower in anyform, but if you have a pc that is half dead-half alive so much that i little program like Opera would hinder the health of your pc, then i don't know if opera is for u .

As for me, i think the BET award disappointed me because i like to study the improvement in things. I mean this year's award is not better than last year's award, which do not like. Yes, Opera ROCKS!!!!. Hey listen zebudaya, i have used firefox and opera and i think am in the right position to say that Opera Rocks . In fact, i can't compair firefox with opera, believe it or not. Opera is way better than firefox because it enbodies alot of features and functions however how big or how small it is; i would say that the feature i love most is the fact that you can come back to the webpages that you're working on at anyother day you want because Opera automatically saves all your current open wepages and it also updates those webpages automatically.
These means that you don't have to be searching through browser history to get back on what you couldn't finish at the time you used your browser last. One of the small features i love most is the fact that you can copy anything you want to search on Google on the webpage or anywhere and "Paste-to-go" in the Google search toolbar that is part of the Opera brower; this means you've skip the need to visit Google, paste your search and press enter. However little this is, "i love it" .

You said that am confusing voice syntheziser with modifier, well you're right because am not in the business, but it seems you do not understand what am saying. Akon's chorus song in lone is voice modified, i agree, but that's not what am talking about. Am not talking about a chorus, am talking about the artist's lines in his songs. Akon's chorus is allowable, but it's going to sound crazy if he uses whatever he uses to sing the chorus in lonely, to sing the whole song.
For example, If you listen to Banky's song titled "Hard Times". You would see that he uses voice modifier or whatever it's called to sing his whole line, same as "Ay mami", and worst of them all, "my regrets". Hey don't pretend as if u don't know what am talking about , the proves are in his songs and please, i've got a question for u, "why can't he sing a clear song like 'em artist i mention in my last reply?, why must there be echos (and some other sounds that i have no idea of the world to describe them) in all his lines and his chorus.
I have nothing against Banky, i mean his songs are good with all 'em voice modifiers and synthesizers he uses, but hey, please give me names of artist that sings all his lines with over abuse of artificial voice aid . Do those that performs on American Idol use artificial voice, just to clearify my point further more, take for example the black girl that was on American Idol with the great voice; that's what good voice sounds like, that's what talent is, that's what natural voice is, that's what am talking about. All these makes me wonder, "Does Banky really have a good voice, because one can't really say, he's voice is always hidden under the artificial voice aid".
