ndu_chucks: I am 100% certain that I wouldn't be buying any of those cars for any family member. May God punish these government official who would rather have us drive death traps instead of the luxury SUVs which they themselves enjoy. Why do you have the mentality that expensive is better? Or is it because it is made in Nigeria? Or you are just trying to make some noise about it to show your relevance? I hope you aren't nursing ideas like the foreigner is better than you? I have been following this story for a while, and I know they are reducing to little or nothing, the tax and duties paid on imported products to be assembled in Nigeria. Also, there are some foreign big brands that have indicated interest in setting up the assembly plants in Nigeria. I have my concerns about it like regular source of electricity, affordability by the common man earning 18k minimum wage et al, but I think its is a commendable effort by the govt. |
morning bro, still waiting for quotes of 2008 or 9 benz c300 |
What year is this? I have never seen such gear stick on a 3 series before (it usually comes steptronic or manual), the back light tallies with the 2002-2005 models and also the steering looks interestingly between 1999-2001 model. |
Rudebwoy: Due to the heavy trafic, it took us 1hr, 45mins to get to Redeem Camp from jibowu as we got Redeem camp at 8:36amand Rudebwoy: The road is free now. We got shagamu at 8:10am.just a bit confused sir. thought Redeem Camp comes before Shagamu while plying the Lagos - O'Sha route? |
C300, 2009 or 2010 model |
But seriously, I still don't understand why the smuggled foreign chickens are still cheaper than the home grown chickens. I mean comparing 800/1250 to 1650 and above that's like twice the price. Hardly makes sense because if this trends continues I see a lot of investors fingers burnt since they cannot compete locally nor internationally. The Government needs to do something quick about this. |
just extremely confused as to why the price of local rice is more expensive that the imported brand. It appears we have a lot of r-etards heading this country or there is a deal with Benin republic (which we don't know) on empowerment and enriching their government/ ports authority. Maybe that's why things are banned without much thoughts in this country. Matter of time, they would reverse the ban on imported car policy after they loose billions or trillions to Benin as usual |
ume: my if you really want sale that baby just collect 800kor or 900k ,direct is sold at 1.4m,bought mine at that amount, even though your mouth too sharpBut for a one year Nigerian used "2001" model, I m thinking 650/700k sha |
not even a phone number to reach you on. how much is it going for? |
1999-2001 toyota camry |
Miner13: did u jst mentn DINO MELAYE. U must b sick.are you seriously arguing for Dino? fighting for masses how? we in Abuja can tell you the kind of house he lives in and cars he drives. Point of correction, he was fighting for his own share which Bankole and co wanted to withhold from him. Anyways, the focus isn't on him today it on his sister thief Stella. |
Rather dumb idiots at the top. How can a made in Nigeria car be more expensive than an imported car. So the best they do is put more hardship on the citizens who are struggling to buy used vehicles. No car loans to buy new cars nothing. Well, to protect the the automotive industry, I feel Govt must do something about making it readily available to Nigerians at very good price. That way, it would make logical sense to stop buying used foreign cars. Well, this news only translates to more money made by Cotonou and other neighboring ports willing to even reduce their tariffs to welcome real business. |
True NaijaBwoy: I appreciate why u think this... but i m cautious about what i say on this post as the issues are very very specific... and i dont want to drag the parties involved into it.. try to be openminded and consider this... if an apology is important to me for what she has done wrong (even if it my perception), why why why? cant she offer it for the sake of peace!Sorry bro, but didn't you date her and see all these while courting ? Or is this something she just started I know someone that had quite a similar issues to this.... All he did was to take a stand. Move her out of his house and tried building himself. Trust me, it worked... she came back begging to return. (Thinking of it, I hope the house isn't hers? or her folks ) |
imperiouxx: Laughed hard at those bold statements......Oderetaarrdd... and complete waste of time. not to blow my trumpet too loud, I finished my PHD from University of Oxford (a world renowned world class institution), 3 years ago. (in Electrical Engineering). My final dissertation was something Mercedes Benz sponsored to develop a Wireless Sensor Network for vehicular system (which is too difficult for bloody idioots like you to comprehend and light years for your imagination). I worked both in the UK and Germany presenting papers in so many Engineering forums around the world. I bluntly refused being retained both by the university and Benz (your dreams in light years). I currently consult for one of the organizations your whole family (you inclusive) wishes to smell here in Nigeria. I have schooled both in public and Private Universities everywhere in the world and obviously know the difference between each. Your whole generation's achievements cannot match mine. So tell me apart from Nairaland, what makes a basic Biochemistry diploma student( whose dreams are limited to living abroad as he sees the American much better than himself) talk to me in such manner. This stack illiterate and complete moooron, who cannot read the topic of discussion or comprehend why Babcock University decides to distinguish itself amongst its pairs by raising the standard and prices rather compares his low-level and class with a high standard world class University (claiming after-all he's abroad in the US). You cannot compare Atlanta community College with MIT, Harvard, Oxford or even Babcock. There are parts here in Nigeria where Light and other basic amenities aren't a luxury. Its very obvious the parts you know. Little wonder why This is a big deal for you. Why bother enlightening you A pig is always a pig no matter how you clothes it and make it look good... A slave is always a slave... big ups to your slave (and poverty) mentality |
No scandalous dressing this time ![]() |
Okija_juju: See as Oshiomole dey rubbish a whole Oba of Benin!!!Esama you mean a.k.a the richest man in Benin kingdom and also the enemy of the Oba of Benin... |
fewj: We need to import those ABJ, PHC and Lag guys to Warri to mentor Us, Warri girls wan kill us!!!lol |
imperiouxx: WTF! It seems you're mentally confused..... Sey you dey craze ni? Who is arguing with you? I didn't mention you neither did I quote anyone. I only made my own comment before you brought your silly questions and of which I gave you the right answers you wanted. Please Re-read your comments, This time thinking first before replying. This is not a bragging forum or a forum for hopeless Nigerians who begs desperately for modern day slavery. Sending back home, If you dig deeply into your past, you would observe your fore-fathers were kidnapped and taken as slaves to foreign lands. I am sure if you also check well, you would identify some of your (slaves) relatives who built bridges worked in farms and washed dirty bottoms of their captors (involuntarily). On the other hand, we have you.... product of leaked condom, thinking foreigners are more superior to you and hustling hard to become a slave to the same sets of people that captured your forefathers. I find it disgusting for such product thinking he is sharper (by paying 700k and bragging about it) to assume I am like him a mentally unstable Nigerian student with a "BBM" (assuming Blackberry Messengers to "access internet and quick to insult people on NL" .Like I told you, think before talking (or blogging). That is what differentiates education from ignorance |
Seyixyz: How wil u?I saw ur type in camp na..U tink u know beta..But wen a questn was thrown @ 1 of ur students, her c.o.b.w.e.b head cud'nt respond..U are jus blowin grammer 4 notin..We kw ur type na"cud'nt", i believe is spelt couldn't .... great maulite ![]() Why not try this (if you have the brains to) attain a PHD (in any Engineering course) from Oxford University (a world renowned University and my last school) first, then I know you are my junior colleague. Irrespective of this, you aren't qualified to "I wil giv u a smallmaths "... |
Seyixyz: Are u also dis dumb in Eng?U can't even tell wat i wrote der..We neva go maths b dat o..Babcock indeed..U are rili back wit a c.o.c.k headTill now, I do not understand you.... ![]() |
imperiouxx: ANSWERSWe both can see your pointlessness in this argument. Sometimes it best to think before talking (or blogging). That is what differentiates education from ignorance Biochemistry at Babcock isn't up to N1m. |
eagle, eye:Good for you Bro, thats the spirit... keep it up |
smartchoice: What does Makinde have to show for the monies being extorted! At least, the tall buildings and more tofu... I guess... |
Seyixyz: Quality education ma a.s.s..I wil giv u a smallmaths nw & u wil mess up..Wanna try? With this your use of English, writeup and arguments, I can deduce the fact that you are also a product of Unilag. Sorry to disappoint you, I am not into unprofitable mathematics solving with an un-qualified x-student of Unilag who wants to "giv me a small maths now" (I wonder who quantifies mathematics as small or big). "great" unilag |
imperiouxx: I don't know why everything in Nigeria is about milking poor people. My tuition fee in US far less than N700,000 per session, of which it's the school that's paying the money sef.4 QUESTIONS 1. Are you an international student? 2. Is your school a private uni? 3. Is your school among the top 100 in the world ranking? 4. What course you attending I can bet its not medicine |
eagle, eye:Sorry Bro, don't take it personal but the fact that you finished from MAU Lagos, or COSCHARIS boss's kids attend Unilag doesn't mean anything to me or the topic. As a matter of fact, It wouldn't even help reduce the school fees. Like I said and you quoted, qualitative education isn't for everyone - I am sure those that attend(ed) Babcock can tell you that. I still insist, Everyone can't live (or own a house) in Lekki phase 1 or Bouillon. |
eagle, eye:Interestingly, most of the private universities (Babcock especially) have public school's lectures working there under strict monitoring (and better incentives of-course) to provide better quality tutoring. I understand they want to start bringing in renowned world-classed Foreign based Lecturers and better equip the School. So lets picture this again, better space and learning environment plus better lecturers, the standard can't be 26th position out of 100. Don't get me wrong, the fees are outrageous, but remember, everyone cannot live in Lekki phase 1 or Bouillon in Ikoyi hence the reason for Ajengule and Mushin. ![]() |

obailala: KaiYes, I think you are the only one who thinks the police explanation is absolute trash. Dino must have been coming from a babe's place (what else do you expect from a jobless opportunist). I wouldn't be surprise if the babe got angry with Dino and smashed his car (obviously because of money sharing or he couldn't satisfy her or he's beaten her). How else would he sell the story to his wife who is still trying to get out of the "Ibidapo-Obe scandal" apart from conveniently accuse the govt. of trying to assassinate him. |
Well, our "oga at the top" should learn from this- its called tactful question answering... eforce01: . i like how she cleverly avoided the alamiseya's pardon question, she just started talking and diverting the interview. Loyal to her oga@ the top . |
freechat: But this man warned us from the beginning that he doesn't want to say something that his OGA AT THE TOP will counter. Now we forced him to say ww.NSCDC (that's all). Now his OGA AT THE TOP should come with the remaining 'w' and '.com' But seriously, that bros need amnesty, because im fall hand.its not even ".com" its ".gov.ng". How would you expect him to know all that when his OGA AT THE TOP has given his consent ? |
Remiuc: My dear, she is 100% right and her faith will pave way for her. Don't be surprised, she may be the only child of God in that camp! What did Bible say about this issue? Deut. 22:5 says "a woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.”A true Christian would know the difference between the old testament laws and the new testament laws and would know the reason Jesus Christ came to die for our sins. I think She would be better off in her church rather than NYSC |
. Seems you're mentally enslaved by hallucination
You are short of words and take to hater's anthem...... calling active students hustlers and slaves.......looooool.... This guy must be an archaic illiterate
