Christianity EtcRe: Should A Student Pay Tithe? by LADIbaba(m): 10:15am On Mar 10, 2013
Joagbaje: Every worshipper of God ought to honor God with tithe. Wise parents even pay tithe on behalf of the little babies . So being a student doesn't make a difference . But you don't tithe on money given for specific purpose . Such as school fees or books. But you can tithe on pocket money and allowances
Please correct me if I am wrong, isn't the pocket money specific toohuh i.e to be used for transportation within and outside campus+ phone calls+ feeding etchuh What tithe should a student pay in the real sensehuh I believe its what you work hard and earn, you give part to GOD (if you wish to - nothing in Christianity is by force) I paid as a student doesn't make it right and doesn't mean I pay now I am working full time

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetard, Lagos State doesn't own Ropeway Transport Ltd, instead, LSG signed a 30-year Franchise Agreement with Ropeways Transport Limited and the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) recently.

They destroyed their homes in the fight for Allah, they killed their people in the fight for Allah and now they demand money for what? SHouldn't this money be demand from Allahhuh instead of the Nigerian Govt (the major enemieshuh)
In my opinion, This should serve as a deterrent for anyone who wants to attempt suicide for Allah or destroy for Allah.. Who takes care of your family when you are gone? Who rebuilds your homes? How about the people you killed along with your worthless lifehuh Who soothes their pains? what amount of compensation can one demand from Boko Haramhuh
I believe Allah created you not for suicide. Poor families cannot be taken care of anymore because their heads of homes were sacrificed by selfish lunatics who thought Nigeria was only as big as their backyard. Maybe (although i doubt very much) the selfish men are enjoying virgins right now in their grave meanwhile their families are suffering here on earth

PoliticsRe: Ban Of Green Buses Temporarily Suspended By FCT by LADIbaba(m): 10:51am On Jan 17, 2013
stagger: There is a need for us to be very objective about the policy. This policy was to be implemented in 2006, which was why the Abuja Leasing Company was setup with the procurement of the so-called "El-Rufai" buses. The essence was to reduce the vehicle density on Abuja roads, reduce the chaotic traffic situation in Wuse, Berger and other places CAUSED BY THESE SAME ARABA BUS DRIVERS, and promote a cleaner, saner traffic culture.

Given, the method of implementation was simply not the way to go about it, but this is a policy that has been long overdue. You need to see what these bus drivers do on the road. Cause accidents, cause traffic, and their tout mentality just creates problems.

In developed cities across the world, there is a much saner transportation system. When BRF banned the molues in Lagos, people screamed and abused him. Today is Lagos not the better for it?

Nigerians should learn to change with the times. We cannot allow the bus drivers turn Abuja into another pre-Fashola Lagos. The roads are clearer and cleaner, and when the rail project is completed, commuters will have another safe and fast means of transportation.
No doubt Abuja would be a better place without these buses, but for the common man, what alternatives are put in place w.r.t the ban? take note, in Lagos, Fashola provided the BRT buses on the BRT lanes before reducing the input from the regular danfo and molue. As a matter of fact, most ex-molue drivers are now rehabilitated BRT bus drivers. In this instance, nothing was put in place by the FCT administration before such decisions were made. El Rufai attempted it (no doubt), but it fizzled out with his administration. Drive by at rush hour (Between 4 and 6 pm) and watch how people suffer waiting for transportation.

Inik: Buhari will contest the 2015 election after which he will make history as the first man to be rejected four consecutive times at presidential election polls by Nigerians. He will then scurry away with his bloodshot eyes to his cave in katsina to lick his wounds and live the remainder of his life in total obscurity.
Please take note of the fresh political party presidential candidate always contesting and loosing election and also divorcing wife as well.
PoliticsRe: Ban Of Green Buses Temporarily Suspended By FCT by LADIbaba(m): 10:30am On Jan 17, 2013
Just another day in the hard life of the regular Nigerian in Abuja. The "modern city for the rich" where 90% of the populace are civil servants earning minimum wage. They can't afford good schools, accommodation and now transportation. At least the achievements of this FCT minister is to stop hot babes on the streets (interesting priorities or do i call it misplaced prioritieshuh) Unfortunately, he wasn't elected... He was appointed... What a big disappointment. You pay to park on the streets on a federal road constructed by tax payers money... very disappointing indeed

PoliticsRe: Lagos Destroys 3,000 Seized Okadas by LADIbaba(m): 4:43pm On Oct 11, 2012
Its rather sad to note that we have people like you encouraging armed robbery in Lagos. Sending you back to school, there are real indigenes of Lagos who do responsible things to ensure their real homes are very well developed. You find these people electing and supporting the government and ensuring the system works. We also have other categories of people who hear that lagos is a land flowing with milk and honey, and troop down to Lagos for a better tomorrow. These people (like you) need to learn to adapt to your new environment and leave the regular village life behind you, embrace the laws of the land or leave Lagos - if you cannot cope or settled down within such developed city.
I believe this is simple enough for you to understand.

CrimeRe: BBC Interviews The Fathers Of Aluu 4 by LADIbaba(m): 4:38pm On Oct 10, 2012
fittty: Since this incident happened I've pondered and wondered what could have gone wrong that the four boys weren't bold enough to talk and challenge those who beat and paraded them in public, leading them to where they were eventually killed.
Now the whole issue is clearer; the boys "ignorantly" got themselves involved with a cultist who operates with a gun, all in a bid to get their money back from a debtor.Below is what actually happened according to an insider....
An indigene of Aluu owed Ugo some money and had vowed not to pay back. Ugo who was popularly known as Tipsy had gone to meet with a fearless University guy (name withheld) to help them track the debtor who had been on the run.

‘Mr Fearless guy’ (a cultist) who was feared by many in the school ad accepted to accompany his friends to get the debtor tracked down in exchange for a percentage of the debt.

They were joined by their room-mate, Chidiaka. On their way to the place, they met one of their friend, Tekena, who knew nothing about the plan, and he joined, just for the hype as is normal with young boys of juvenile age.
That made 5 boys - Ugo, Lloyd, Chidiaka, Tekena and ‘Mr Fearless Guy’ that got to the debtor’s compound. Unknown to the other four, ‘Mr Fearless Guy’ who was contracted to intimidate the debtor just to get the money paid, went with a gun.
When they got to the debtor’s house around 12am, a fight ensued, as the debtor confronted them. A next door neighbour, a woman started shouting on top of her voice, that they were thieves, attracting other bad boys around the area, whom were mainly “vikings”, the rival cult group of the one on contract.

They swung into action by tipping the vigilante group who confronted the boys, referring to them as thieves. In the process of beating the boys, while they were trying to prove their innocence, the fifth boy, ‘Mr Fearless Guy’, who is a cultist, brought out his gun to scare the people, and he escaped, leaving the rest four at the mercy of the villagers.
The explanation they tried to give fell on the community’s deaf ears as the people insisted they must be killed....and unfortunately they were lynched!

Note:- this story is an eyewitness account from the 5th boy who escaped. He narrated this to Ugo and Lloyd’s friend who has pleaded that his identity be kept secrete
A wise man once told me, always fear the man that is scared to ask the police any question.
However, this Story doesn't make sense, why did they not go to the policehuh why did they prefer the cult guyhuh why even go at that ungodly hour?? I am a bit amazed at the "Rival viking part". Aluu's Killing of these four boys aren't justified especially after the humiliation by walking them round the village naked and also the horrible beating they received.

mekaboy: LEAD IN WHAT?

I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT EACH OF THOSE OKADAS REPRESENT A FAMILY, A CHILDS SCHOOL FEES, SOMEONES DAILY BREAD. AND AN OPEN DOOR FOR ARMED ROBBERY, KIDNAPPING AND INSECURITY.

SO WHEN YOU NOTICE THE INCREASE OF ARMED ROBBERY IN LAGOS, DONT ASK WHERE IT CAME FROM. ITS ONE OF THOSE OKADAS YOU SEE THERE. THOSE CAUGHT OFFENDING SHOULD BE MADE TO PAY A FINE, INSTEAD OF DESTROYING THEIR MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD. CrimeRe: Police Begins Manhunt For Killers Of Uniport Students by LADIbaba(m): 9:50am On Oct 08, 2012
Still on still, they were going to kill someone meaning they were going to exhibit some barbaric jungle justice on someone else. How does it feel when the table turns on themhuh I am not in support of the barbaric death they enjoyed, but Killing another person equally makes no sense

Ibime: Someone else is now claiming the fifth man later succumbed to gunshot wounds and died. . . .

As a journalist I went on an investigative journalism and my findings was that d guys are not thieves but cultist on a mission to kill the leader of their cult group. These guys are from rich homes, two of them move on jeeps. They were incensed by the overbearing attitude of their cult leader and decided to topple him. Not knowing that the place was in the radar by some resolute vigilante boys following persistent handset theft and rape, five of them embarked on a journey around 3am with their axe and knife on hand trying to gain entry into their targets abode. The target who is their cult leader was however sensitive enough to notice their presence and started screaming - 'thief, thief' which attracted the attention of the vigilante who rounded them off. One out of the five cult guys escaped allbeit with a gunshot wound he sustained from the vigilante while trying to escape. It was this 5th cult guy that escaped but later died in Agip that narrated the ordeal before he died that gave us the tip that they were set up as thieves instead of an equally bad CULTIST. The things they claim was stolen was never found on them and perhaps some persons wanted them dead all their confessions were waved

Not all of us are as corrupt as you are. The good thing is my name is on the receipt. If you decide to give Gani the money its ok (I m really sure 830k Roger to my driver would make him a better person), as long as you are prepared to give me mine back at the end of the day. Apparently, you want to collect this 18k gift back from the driver because the owner refused gwaking this scam. How low can you go?
Let's hope and pray all this your mouth would pay off at the end of the day and we wouldn't hear stories as usual. I would really not be happy if you are liquidated and sent on the streets, I worry for your family who look up to you, since my money return doesn't depend on if you sell the car or not but to raise the money anyhow you can.

This your post is funny, I almost ignored you but I think I would rather stand for something than fall for anything. Tosin Phillips who claims to own a big car company Tetley Autos (although the company isn't yet registered and doesn't have a showroom nor office but calls himself a "freelance"wink was very economical with the truth. He was actually detained in the police station, and was fortunate enough to get a surety for bail on the condition of writing an undertaking (this time not under Duress of course) to refund my money (yes complete I.e with the amount he gave the driver).
To clear the air, the baale is aware of his remarks and opinion of him on Nairaland. To my utmost surprise, baba is also on nairaland,  (did I hear someone's toast?).
Things have definitely caught up with you this time around end to cheating innocent unsuspecting people who want to explore other options of expanding E-business in Nigeria. You are rather immature and need to be schooled on the importance and usage of what we call excellent DAMAGE CONTROL,

Thanks Gowda and toba for your meaningful contributions, but I can't give him any more time. He is a total scam. There are ways to deal with Scams. It was the very day I received this car I made known my complains to him not a few days. The car left Lagos on Sat, and by evening I called and complain. I don't want a car with a cracked windscreen not with the Abuja sun. Anyways I m tired of all these talk time for some action.
AutosRe: SOLD!!! Very Clean Registered '00/'01 Toyota Camry Le ( Aka Big Light ) - N890k by LADIbaba(m): 3:47am On Dec 15, 2010
Its obvious you never intended giving me my money. Also seems you bent on confusing things. Let's get this right, you wrote the agreement to pay UNDER DURESS, repaired the car UNDER DURESS, relisted the car on nairalist UNDER DURESS. It all doesn't add up. Why did you have to give my driver and the mechanics he brought money (18000) was this a bribe of "stimulus" to ensure the sales since I couldn't come for the sales? This car was paid for on Thursday, repaired on Friday, brought to Abuja on Saturday. I called you on receiving this car and made known all my observations and displeasures I am sure we both remembered how you responded. Took the car to Elizade and Toyota place in abuja on Monday and both places spoke with you on the numerous problems with the car. We both agreed to send the car down which was done on Wednesday. Its unfortunate, in this IT age, where we don't ve to be present to buy cars in foreign lands, here in Nigeria, crooks like this destroy the real potential of E-trading. If that car was worth what you sold it to me, I m sure you would ve easily resold it and made profit on it. I feel cheated on my first purchase on nairaland,

I am not happy with this vehicle you sent me, apart from the legs and shock absorbers that are bad, the car comes with only one key, the tires are in terribly poor condition (unless these were used/second hand tires bought). Although the a/c is chilling cold, the seats are neat as described but the Windscreen is broken in 2 places. to crown it all the gear box (Transmission) is faulty. This wasn't part of your description here this isn't a 6months used car but a 4 years used third hand car. My advice for other innocent buyers is to carefully avoid scams like you before they lose close to 900k on a scam like this.
