In Nigeria, if you remove ethnic sentiments, personal or tribal hatred, you can easily answer questions about each Nigerian tribe.

The only country Yorubas make up the largest population than any other Nigerian tribe is UK.

China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc, you know whats up lol.

You know the truth yourself, thats all I have to say cool

There was a report about numbers of African household and language spoken in USA last year. Go look for it and read.

Most Southeast guys don't send money directly to their parents or relatives in Nigeria, they sell the hard currencies to their Igbo friends and relatives into importation and they use it to pay for goods abroad instead of sending directly.

Lastly, a lot of Igbo guys abroad are dissatisfied with Nigeria's current situation under APC/Buhari and many have stopped investing back home, another reason for low remittance from Igbos abroad.

The whole world know Igbos are the highest Diaspora population of Nigerians abroad, you too know this.

Withdraw you excuse brother, other Nigerians do the same. Try to be sincere and looked deep into situation without listening to anybody. Bola Ahmed Tinubu has claimed that he made $1.8 million from salaries and bonuses while working a consultancy job at Deloitte USA.

So we subpoenaed Deloitte USA to provide evidence of Tinubu's employment and staff payment records, and this is what came back.

Whilst I have not put a call through to the US Consulate, it is imperative that I draw the attention of Nairalanders and Nigerians to some fine details they may have missed, and why I have strong reasons to believe that so called embassy letter addressed to Tafa Balogun regarding Tinubu is NOT GENUINE! Not like it will change anything as na naija we dey, but just for the sake of knowledge.

I have shared some points to note, starting with the most obvious. That document has a typo that is hard to ignore. The red flags are listed below!

1. It reads the United States and it's territories

It should be ITS not IT'S

2. The typing alignment is not justified format, even the 1993 document was properly aligned in justified typing format. How could a 2003 not be? Compare the two below.
3. Inec supposedly received a document in 2010 when Tinubu wasn't vying for any post in 2010.

For these reasons, unless there is a convincing explanation for these concerns, the document being circulated is likely forged and did not originate for the US embassy as touted.

FP please!

Ok, let’s take it from your view that the cases are similar, in that they are crime related.

Cubana was either invited or arrested by the Police, on the basis of what we were informed. The onus of proof rested on his, based on the facts presented to him by NDLEA. The matter has not escalated beyond that, at least as we know for now.

We have been told that Tinubu had a friend who lived with him in the USA. The guy was a drug peddler. The guys funds found their way into Tinubu’s account and was seized, according to Tinubu’s side of the story. He has so far not denied the name Bola Tinubu. He went his way, not knowing that destiny would bring him to contest for the highest office of the nation. Tinubu himself is an advocate of accountability with leadership. He did not prove that the funds did not belong to him or its source.

Politics aside, is it not proper that his name is cleared? Is it not proper for Nigerians to question the source of wealth of all their leaders?

It is proper but the case has been cleared. When you enter into plea bargain (In USA ), the case is gone for life. If you drag him to court in USA, you won’t get any positive result. Tafa balogun (former IG) got a response from the American authority then and he was told he had no case to answer and as for Obi Cuba. He is lucky to be invited by Nigerian law enforcement agency. You and I know how things goes here. So, I’m not disputing the fact that he might have or agree to it.

The basics is that he has no case to answer. If I were to be Tinubu’s advocate, the defense argument would be, one can have funds in your account without you knowing what the owner of the funds do or how it was acquired. Any close associate can wire funds into your account and give you Wrong info about the funds.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Cleared of A Court Indictment By The American Embassy by ladiguy(m): 4:09pm On Nov 09, 2022
historyles:
The post claiming Tinubu was cleared by the American Embassy is fake news. An embassy is not a court of law and cannot clear anyone of a court indictment or conviction.

Those posting that should know better. A court indictment can only be cleared by another court pronouncement or a state pardon. Even the FBI cannot clear him of such indictment. If the FBI wants him cleared, they will have to approach a court of law.

The claim that the embassy has cleared him is fake news.

How old are you? It’s a dead issue. Money was founded in his account that was traced to an individual indicted in drug case. That’s the offense and he was cleared way back. The problem with you kids is that you don’t dig in deep into history before you drop comment online. You guys should try and read and not just watching music with your phones

How tall are the buildings in lekki? Proximity of Alausa to ikeja airport is shorter than VI to the location of lekki airport. Lekki phase one is not the location of lekki airport and that phase 1 is not the real lekki. The real lekki na village after Ibeju-lekki, that’s where the location of the airport is, so no high rise building. It’s just not advisable to have talk buildings with an airport. Read what you copied again. How many cities in the world has high rise building close to the airport? High rise building are from 13th floor and above, while sky scrappers are 40 and above (still in the category of high rise buildings). You call it sky scrapers when it’s 40 above.

Construction of high-rise in the vicinity of airports is discouraged because they obstruct flights and radar operations as well as pose dangers to those living in buildings close to airports. This is why even in most developed countries multistory buildings are not allowed within 20kms radius of airports.

Be calm, listen and learn. It will help you.
