there was a time this happened to me I was sitting down listening to a story about a particular sheikh r.a before I knew I found myself sitting with many people and I saw the sheikh coming he was now shaking everybody one by one I now thought that I might not be able to shake him before I wake up so I just made a conscious attempt to shake him before I knew I just find myself standing up and extending my hand for a shake in the physical world I was very surprised .

Lol... � interesting...ok thanks. But most time, unlike yours, I seldom making the transition immediately to physical, there is always a sequence of delay, absorption then to a dream phase before finally to full physical consciousness.

Like I said before also, I try to maximize the interaction with that environment curious to know more, just that when I feel "scared" of something that I always made that switch.

sheikh ladunal this happened while I was seeking a divine favor from Allah s.w.t.
A certain ustaz gave me a similar type of exercise during the course of this my body became very weak I could barely walk, all of a sudden I started having some certain experiences i thought it was just a dream however I found out I am still aware of my environment.
I still continued till I met a sheikh who said he came to visit me and asked how I was faring with the prayer this sheikh didn't come physically I could see him and talk to him but the rest of my brother couldn't .
But despite experiencing all these I couldn't complete it cause my body couldn't take it anymore it felt as if almost I was dying .
I think what sheikh ikupakuti is trying to say is that this type of exercise kind of like get rid of the nafs wordly desires with constant zikr which will also purify it will give the ruh power just like a certain sheikh said that hunger is the prison of ego.

Ooh excellent! Truly fasting and sleeplessness are one of those factor that bring "death" to our nafs as you rightly said. This seems to be sort of "kashf" - vision sort of. Where somethings are momentarily unveil and you could grasp whatever things shown to you. Though I haven't experience this before but near to that is "hearing" somebody say something or Salam where I will look and wouldn't see anyone around or during semi wakefulness.

Actually why I asked sheikh empiree then was that sometimes when striving against my nafs reach certain level, I normally feel completely "free" and "enthereal" most time in my sleep where there is complete freedom to fly at will to any where I so desire with complete self awareness that am in another plane different from physical world. At time I made conscious effort to identify those environment but sometimes I got scared, I would quickly switch back to physical consciousness though will pass thru "dream" state before waking up.

Pls give us background what you're doing then and more of that experience.

I think it's basically being sure of what you are buying from the onset while acknowledging you are not in control of a lot of happenings in the market.

When stocks meet my various screening criteria amongst which are that they must be profitable businesses and have a good foreseeable mid to long term future using time tested indices like PE Ratio, EPS, Beta, ROI, Dvd Yield, PBV, etc, and of course some positive news/vibes and not negative sentiments around It, I procure a certain level of peace that serves me when it dips.

I have had to pick a stock and the moment I buy, it dips. In most cases, I quickly buy the dip because I know what I bought and that move promptly "averages down" my entry price.

Finally, I trade or invest money I don't need for my short or mid term expenses, so that affords me the patience required to make a kill in the end.

That said, I have had to exit some trades at minimal loss in a bid to recover that loss and enter automatic profit by buying a more promising find.

In the end, the stock market is a battle field of mind games. The most emotional people get wounded here.

Now my Tesla story.
I bought Tesla $711.53 on 2nd March 2020 to trade it at the slightest $100 gain.
Along the line, I decided I will hold long term.

After weeks of rigmarole, it shot up to $814.42 on 20th May 2020 and I sold happily with a $950 gain, forgetting my last decision to hold long term.

Behold, 20 days after, I mean just yesterday, Tesla popped $1,025/share. My $950 gain would have been a $2,910 (N1,309,500.00) gain if I had been patient for only 20 days!

Now am going to have to experience a long wait for a pullback/crash to buy back if it falls under $900 for my long term holding.

When I go back and analysis your entry and exit... I found that if you have a bit patience in your entry, and allow the pull back exhaust itself, and wait for at least 10 days before you enter you would have amass great profit.

I know some of my comments won't go down will with some. I certainly know this. I don't agree with assassination of the Iranian general. I had argued this on this platform when many Nigeria seemed to support US decision. It is dangerous thing to do.

However, my point is that that was not Trump's idea but unfortunately he's the president. The neocons that pushed for the killing are really the problem. Reason I said this was that months before attack on the general, Israeli lobbyists/AIPAC had pushed Trump to the brink of launching airstrikes and ground troops in Iran. Recall Albaqir opened a threads about it. Trump didn't like the idea at all. He was forced to come out and he cried out that he was being pushed to attack Iran. That's why he preferred to stick to sanctions. Trump is a business not a typical politician. A businessman doesn't want war. He kept saying "it is not easy" which means presidents are always under pressure. But Trump was bold enough to say it out loud while still in office. My point is based on records right now, Trump has yet to open a new front but Bush did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama did in Libya and Syria. Look at Libya today. It is now den of kidnappers, slave traders et'al.

Reason many like Obama is because of being the first Black president of US. This clouded our judgement.



Really I couldn't have said it better. I agree he got loose mouth. But I don't allow his watery mouth to impact my reasoning. I do not support his immigration policy. His alleged election corruption however could not be substantiated bcuz he was vindicated by impeachment decisions. Reason many immigrants hate him is basically for 2 reasons.

First his immigration policy which I don't support. Second is his social benefits policy which he makes harder to get. Unfortunately this could not kickstart due to the pandemic.

Let's analyze. American is no man's land. It is a country of immigrants and according to US Constitution immigrants will continue to troop in from all works of life. Trump tried to change this system but he's not 100 wrong either bcuz he's concerned about dangerous people coming in undocumented. This is why he banned and urged 7 countries including Nigeria to have data. You can see he wanted security guaranteed for his countrymen. Just take a look at Nigeria. There is no data to track down criminals. No forensic files et'al. This is what Trump is asking for.

Also Trump is trying to uplift Black Americans by limiting their reliance on the system (welfare). He wants only people that really need it should get it but Democrats prefer to keep people on welfare benefits.

This definitely sounds good to many outside US but what they don't know is that many of these people on welfare (owo baba) benefits are SOB. They are getting equivalent to or more than hardworking Americans. Seeing this statistic wanna make working class stop working, stay at home and get same benefit too. Worst part is most of them don't make use of it. They rather use the money to smoke Igbo, impregnate more women and put the strain on the system(tax payers) which is you and I.

As if this is not enough, there are immigrants who came to US for the purpose of the social benefits(owo baba). I have heard stories of Nigerian women do this often. They ran away from Nigeria with their kids and abandoned their husbands. Getting to Western world they lied they don't have husband in order to qualify for welfare. Many of them don't wanna work too. They sit home and cause trouble. This is what Donald Trump's trying to check.

Look at what nigerian assylum seekers are doing in Canada. Govt gives them monthly allowance and they must look for work so govt could stop paying them. Guess what most of them do?. They use the money to buy cars and post them on social media, send pictures to Nigeria as if they are making it big in Canada. They are so get used to free tax payer money and they don't wanna work.

Most people on this welfare are Black people. Truth must be told. Trump's trying to help them catch the fish directly instead of getting fish via 3rd party. Ofcourse he makes enemies for himself by doing this.

As for the incident going on, i have said earlier he rather keep quiet than talking. This is much better. He doesn't know how to talk. That's why he keeps getting into trouble.

Though I agree with some of your points, but the body language of the president suggest he doesn't care much about the minority, atleast for ones, he should cool down his vulgar rhetorics, and be diplomatic or civil even if it going to feign it. Such is needed at least to calm the angry nerves.

I tried reading one juzz in my Tahajuud (divided 1/8 for each rakat) and same or partly also during my solat duha. They all always produce same effect. Ofcourse qalb become calm and peaceful.

oh sorry about that. I see now. I try as much as possible not to miss it even if it just two rakat before dawn. In order for me to always wake for Tahajuud I deliberately do not normally pray my Witt after ishai or before sleep. Because doing so I found out that I became lazy most time to wake up again.

So fully knowing that I have to pray my Witr "compulsorily" sunnah muhakada. It enables or stimulate to wake up for Tahajuud, because I wouldn't like to miss it. So partly that helps me to maintain doing it. And also the need to do my salawat after Tahajuud, because I found that there is more shekinah on my soul doing it then.

I am only doing Solat Ibrahimiyah then without combining it with any other salawat, not that am averse to them, but just to maintain my focus then.

So after several months on that, I saw with a friend a copy of dalailu khairat written in modern Arabic printing text, not that old hand written that's is common which I can barely read. When I read the first three pages I realized it is more or less like solat ibrahimiyah with slight variations, that spur up my interest in it and couple with fact that I can read those text fluently.

So I incorporate dalailu khairat into solat ibrahimiyah I was doing which I never abandoned at any time. So that is what I am always doing.

I do complete dadailu once everyday especially after my Tahajuud prayer, and at times twice by reading another one during day time but attest I read just a portion sometimes. But for solat Ibrahimyah initial between 1k-2k on rare occasion 5k. Later I don't use to count just continue doing at leisure time, any time, that Allah has made easy for me. Though recently I became lazy not doing above much, but I never abandoned them. Always thinking of hadith that holy prophet (saw) said Allah loves something done constantly even if it insignificant. I hope I have answered your question.

Let me share this little anecdote with you. You see when I was then secondary school I use to think that sending prayer to Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) is waste of time because he is blessed human being already(which is true of course), but what a shallow thinking by me at the time lol...

But I remembered during my sophomore year at the University I went to a friend room in our hostel, and I met his absence. But there was this Hadith book on his table that caught my attention, immediately I saw it, I picked it up and started reading it. The very first hadith that I saw upon opening the book is the hadith reported Ubaybn bn Kaab in Musnad Imam Ahmad hanbali. That goes thus:



This hadith strucks me so much so that I decided there I wouldn't be doing much again except salawat ala nabiy. Alhamdulilah! Allah made it so easy for me that, I engaged it day and night. And whenever I am face with challenge, I prefer doing lots of salawat for holy prophet (saw). This became part and pasu of me that, if a single day pass without me send prayers in abundance for holy prophet(saw) my heart would become "hardened" sort of, and I will be so dejected and unhappy until I return to do it. It became sort of " addiction" for me lol.

All the time I was blessed with these visions I don't remember asking Allah for that, I just continue with my routine salawat, and Allah bring those visions as He wishes.

So this best route is always to engage in durood for holy prophet(saw) even without you asking Allah for such vision it will come naturally if you remain focused and sincere. Check out these attached ahadith.

Don't bother to much about whether is devil or true form of holy prophet other is experiencing, but see how you can partake is such honourable gesture from Allah first. For your information, I am blessed with this not once or twice nor even thrice...walilahamdul. They have all the tricks in the book. But muslims are just quiet and never engaged them. But alhamdulillah today there are muslims standing up. Many ignorant muslims were carjoled by "we worship same God but difference ways". This is what christians used to lure them. And some alfas say the same too. Thats why some of the alfa dont like challenging them. They tell us "na you create hellfire?....leave them alone". This is why some of the alfa in London especially have christian wives. They go to As-salatu on sunday while their wives go to church on sunday. They present christianity as alternative to Islam. That's, if Islam is hard for you join christianity too.

This aside, their manifesto is disgusting. I mean christians. Specifically CAN headed by Adeboye, Oyedepo. These crooks have supreme hatred for islam while teaching their subjects how peaceful christianity is. So we studied Bible and realized so much holes in there. It is imperative to expose them. This is how some muslims are liberating christians now. Thanks to Mallam Yusuf Adepoju and Ustaz Jamiu Adegunwa and host of others.

If they dont challenge them these christians will disrupt muslim groups with thier cunning behaviors, whether you are alhsunna or sufi, doesnt matter. They have been doing this for long while we are asleep. They sent christians to ile keu to study arabic and islam. They dont mind spending 10yrs in our midst. They later come out to tell us they were ex-muslims. They speak arabic and recite Quran fluently. But they are not muslim. This is what many of them do to convince ignorant muslims and christians. They have been investigated and exposed. Some investigations are still ongoing. I follow these things very closely. Yoruba usually do this nonsense.

I was a student of comparative religion back in the day at University. Although I'm off since Thursday and back to work tomorrow. Ambulances are everywhere picking up sick people. Too much emergency calls overwhelmed authority.

They will no longer accept 911 calls for non-emergency cases like break-ins, domestic violence etc. Emergency calls right now are mostly COVID-19 related or active gunshot.

Nigeria needs to keep it up and folks need to comply with the new regulations to keep cases down. It starts small and later explodes but I hope it is contained under 100.

Me dey joke ni o. But I'm against face mask. That's useless because virus is not airborne. So what's the point of wearing masks?. It is only airborne 6 to 10 from sneezing person and becomes droplet afterward.

Matter of fact masks could make it worse. Hands are the most essentials. However, if you must be around sick person then mask is necessary. But wearing mask on the streets, cars, trains is unnecessary.


You seen picture of Buhari and the other fellow shaking hands but wore mask. That's rather silly. They would use the same hands to remove masks which means they transfer the virus from hands to face.

Our hands carry lots of bacteria but they are not harmful for at long as we don't touch our face, mouth nose etc.

That's why it is highly recommended to wash hands often.
