Not even only Surah Yasin Ayah 9, there was even a report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was screened from an unbeliever in the ahaadith. Read

The Qu'ran says in Surah Al-Isra 17:45 -And when you recite the Qur'ân, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil.

In the Tafsir of Imaam Qurtubi (May Allah have mercy on him) concerning this verse, it reads: Narrated Said Bin Jubair(May Allah be pleased with him):When the Surah No. 111(Surah Masad) was revealed, the wife of Abu Kahab came looking for the Prophet(Peace be upon him and his family) while Abu Bakr(May Allah be pleased with him):When was sitting beside him.Abu Bakr(May Allah be pleased with him) said to the Prophet(Peace be upon him):'I wish if you get aside(or go away) as she is coming to us, she may harm you. The Prophet(Peace be upon him and his family) said:''There will be a screen set between me and her''.So she didn't see him. She said to Abu Bakr:'' Your companion is saying poetry against me, and Abu Bakr said:''By Allah, he doesn't say poetry.'' She said:''Do you believe that?'' Then she left.
Abu Bakr said:''O Allah's messenger! She did not see you.'' The Prophet(Peace be upon him) said: ''An angel was screening me from her.''.[Hadith is quoted in Musnad Abu Ya'la].

Imaam Al-Qurtubi(May Allah have mercy on him): If the above verse is recited by a real believer, he will be screened from a disbeliver(Allah knows better)[Tafsir Al-Qurtubi Volume 10, Page 269]

The issue is that most of these things boil down to faith, sincerity and intention. Most importantly, many of these people rarely talk about it or boast about it. They only narrated it when necessary. Moreover, these things aren't employed for bad things. For example, you owe someone money that's overdue (and you have the capacity to pay up) and you recite Surah Yasin or any other other surah in order to be screened from your debtor grin Oga pay up grin
It won't work.

Bottom line is that be sincere, if you call upon Allah in distress using His words, he would surely response to your call.

I leave you with this ayah.

Surah Ar-Rad, Verse 31:

And if there had been a Quran with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Quran).........
Thanks bro for these details. Like I earlier mentioned on this forum, my experience with this particular ayah is my dream. Somebody was chasing me, and I'd to be running for my dear life. Suddenly, I stoped and started reciting that ayah:

The Qu'ran says in Surah Al-Isra 17:45 -And when you recite the Qur'ân, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil.

Immediately an invisible veil was.set between me and the attacker, and all his effort to get to me prove abortive. The funny thing is that, I'd not memorize that ayah before that incident.

If you can recall, ikupakuti made mention of how Laylatul qadri could fall outside of the month of Ramadan. Did ever expatiate upon that to you off this forum?
Ladunal, if he did to you could you throw more light on it.

Because, hmm, Oga Empiree, I have been thinking about that supposedly special night in the glorious month of Ramadan for some time, even before I came upon kuti's post. Its not that I'm doubting the word of Allah, I'm just a practical person ni.
I was glad reading reading most of your contributions and many others brothers willing to share their thought on this thread.

Though we had interesting discussion about this issue earlier in this forum. But the conclusion is that is more of subject than object. The subjectivity stems from The fact that, different individual would always have some peculiar spiritual experience that might not be generally shared.

Ibn Arabi said something similar that he's seen Lailatul Qadr in other month than month of Ramadan but that doesn't preclude that it can't be seen in odd night of Ramadan. in fact that is where we'll ALWAYS see it. I believe others is just form of spiritual experience personal to the individual involved.

In my own little way. It happened twice in the odd night of Ramadan from experience I had. One is during 27th night and the other five years later on the 23rd of Ramadan. I believe others will have their own experience of.this night also base on what they witness or 'seen' or experience on that day. Somebody might ask, how sure that one know is he's 'seen' it? Well the signs is not cast in stone, and I believe if one has experience it, the divine grandeur and GRACE that accompany that moment of truth would be too great to discard as mere ordinary night. I believe when others share their experience here going forward, we'd get more enlightened on this issue.

His conclusion was that the bottom line is belief system. As long as it is not corrupted. As in judgment is clouded and you start seeing everything is God or rely on Angels, Jinn, ruhaniya or whatever besides Allah. That's where problems kick in. He said differences today are very simple to resolve but it won't bcus everyone wants to draw crowd to their ideology
Yeah! I think Ikupakuti also made mention of this earlier, that the belief system is what it's so important which has to be safe guarded from corruption. And one should always rely on Allah as ultimate decider.

What do you mean by alagbigba (ayewo)?

Received this interesting email from anonymous NL member today.

This goes to show there are people reading posts anonymous and truly appreciate efforts.
Wow! That is interesting. The truth is, I do the same 're-reading most of our posts here, and I continued to gained more insight. Infact the last time I was stucked at pg 5 trying to drive home the concept of ruyaniya based on different post and stories you and Ikupakuti have said on that issue.

Pls do try and be posting more on ihzan as the writer of that email said, I will always try to chipping my little contribution because that's when I get enthused posting, as most of discussion/topic here hardly get my spirit "resonates" lol.

Perhaps you can start telling us more about those heart melting stories. I was totally carried away last time reading how meticulously you wrote those stories you narrated to us then. You're always a good narrator though grin

unfortunately this is not a revolution. I called this "kwara spring". It will reach level of revolution if, only if new administration, governor and state senators make drastic changes by building standard infrastructures: schools, Bridges, roads, rails, airport, healthcare coverage for all citizens regardless of medical conditions, reform task force and law enforcement. Restructuring pension and retirement funds and reducing poverty by 60%. Only then this can be considered revolution. Let's hope it reaches that level. Right now it is kwara spring where citizens swept away unpatriotic govt and replaced with something similar but not different.

In other to make difference new govt must accomplish or attempt to accomplish everything started above. Otherwise it is not revolution.
We'll go out again this Saturday Insha Allah and complete the task already begun. Hopefully, the revolution we desire in Kwara would be given to us by this incoming administration GOD helping them.

I MUST tell is a great relief having a FRESH of breath air in Kwara.

while I appreciate their skepticism, I also think it is no longer the issue (that they fear of falling into shirk). Today, it is more about ideology. The moment they realized yours isn't in line with theirs they simply discard you as ahluwhatever. This makes your statement reality. You can see that on this platform apparently where some of them make indiscriminate takfeer for being Sufi
I quite agree with this. And little or few actually wanted TRUTH in real sense, but rather like endless debate on some non issue.

you know you really can't describe to them how honey tastes. They gonna tell you it tastes like sugar but you would tell them it doesn't. They would say it tastes like sweet you would tell them no. And they wonder how it tastes?. You tell them the only way to know how honey tastes it to take a sip. So telling them experiences from azkar is tantamount to talking to deaf and dumb fellow.
This was exactly the position of Imam Ghazali(ra) then before he decided to engage more on tasaawuf inorder to experience it, and them see if there is any substance in Sufis claim. The Imam got more than he bargained for and he was convinced about the veracity of Sufi experience. However, he was guided more because of his deep knowledge of sharia Islamic jurisprudence hence able to avoid pitfalls many Sufi fell into.

Empiree:
I asked how could puritans reject this subject?. He said they do not believe in haqiqa. He said but he understands that they are trying to be on safe side and they do not want Muslims to fall into shirk. That's why they skeptical and stuff. I said but this is why figh is important before tassawuf. He said what Alhusunnah don't understand is that both Alhusunnah and alhutassawuf are going to jannah.
I think I love this intention, and perhaps this will serves as a safeguard not to fall into shirk really. But they normally lack the will power to follow thru to see for themselves if those claims are true or false.
Empiree:
I said ma Sha Allah. It is great gift. He simply confirmed what I have been saying. He distinguished jinn from rihaniya. Also said exactly what I said about sheikh Malik Adebayo aka babaloworo, that if you make mistake in certain azkar or dua by reciting specific Allah's Name, rihaniya in charge appears to you in your dream and you see him and he corrects you. They appear in person as well but in human form and correct you. This is what happened to Sheikh Malik.
Actually am still struggling to differentiate these entities. I am kinda leaning towards belief that generally a Muslims jinn are called rawaniya. Coincidentally, 2 days ago when I was going thru our discussion on previous thread I was particularly stuck at Khodam/ruhaniya stuff trying to do more research on it. I haven't got enough evidence or material on it as I really like. Hopefully with time am going to get more stuffs on it.

IslamRe: Fabrications And Errors In Sahih Bukhari and Muslim by LadunaI(m): 7:17am On Feb 26, 2019
AlBaqir:
# Christianity started its failure since the time of the reign of the Church where the faith was antagonistic of science. The more science grew in the west, the more Christianity loses its bases. The two are not compatible.

# On the other hand, the Church moral atrocities also made people lost hope in faith. If not for the revolution of Martin Luther which brought about Protestant, Christianity would have gone to its oblivion in the west.

All these and more paved way for other "ism" to establish their roots. Stats showed old people are adherents of Christianity today compare to the young folks in the western world.

# And when you talk about western material developments, it was NEVER EVER as a result of their Christian faith that paved way for such. Some of western earliest and today's scientists were/are not really believers. Some even faked to be believers to escape church persecution. Today with more freedom, it is far easier for them to reject Christian faith.

# Interestingly, you dare ask "muslim's contributions" to the development of the "world". While the Western world were in abject ignorance, their Muslim counterparts were distinct with various form of technological and scientific inventions. The basis of western scientific and technical achievement today are traced back to the Muslims scholars/scientists. And of course, west tried her best to stole those inventions and plundered Africa of her wealth to actualized her stolen inventions.

# Coming back home. Nigeria or Africa Muslims are thousand of years behind. The kind of Christianity and Islam we embraced and practicing were fake to the fullest. Christianity of today is making wave in Africa owing to the superstition and abject poverty in this region. Same story in North America. Africans always see problems and challenges from spiritual perspectives. Church banked on that by introducing deceitful and magic "miracles". Some introduced wealth to entice and lure people and preach prosperity. Hence, the rising and increase of Christian population in the southwest Nigeria. Besides, Muslims are very weak in faith propagation than their Christian counterparts.

Islam is more of a religion of reality that talks and argue on conviction and rationality. Naturally, in an environment of ignorance and poverty, such religion doesn't really work unlike academic environments. Hence, you could see Islam is the fastest growing religion in the western world. You can understand the need for the "western world orders" to fight it via propaganda and introduction of wahabism by the British.

Islam is growing in the northern part of Nigeria as a result of excessive child bearing and multiple marriage. When you see a man with 10, 20, 30, 40 etc children compare to the western Nigeria or esstern Christians. Thats something on its own. Besides, Islam is more or less been established as a culture in the north than being a religion.

Western Nigeria because of her education and enlightenment have prospect of being Muslim dominant (if not presently) by the time true Islamic teachings are more preached and propagated compare to the present distasteful propagation and emergence of useless scholars.
Wonderful insight! Thumb up.

Of course many Alfas these days are Jabber like you rightly said, their primary goal is aaccumulation of wealth by all means necessary and some other low level desires.

as I dey read this my eyes filled with tears. I didn't hear about him before I went to ilorin in late 1998. I didn't listen to any tape throughout my stay there but heard from people especially my friend, Alfa Hakeem. He used to say "oju ju oju lo". "Eniti o ba fe yi kadara re da yo yi lori". He credited the statement to sheikh Sazili (ra). I didn't quite get what he was saying until now. Indeed, he's more popular after his demise.

wallah just watched it this month for the first time but I have watched (listened) to YouTube audio of the same footage and I have been asking people to upload the actually footage because I'm inspired at the moment he said "marihabambikum Alan wasalam". He wiped tears as indication of knowing and seeing something. In my opinion he was aware of his demise looking at that footage.

I see many got hurt by his demise especially sheikh nda solati. I watched his firdaus where nda solati cried. They were so close. I seen sheikh nda solati once or twice at masjid dedicated to sheikh Sazili (ra) at Ayetoro near Gari Alimi road.

Ameena. ilorin should have created online profiles of these Alfas and their books because many today think that the only correct Islam is anything you hear from Saudi shuyukh and they look down on their own
.
# Actually, that phrase became a slogan then, in which people use it frequently when trying to drive home some points during spiritual related discussions. It was after him, Buhari Musa began to reign and had a shot at stardom.

# Yeah, his mother was from Nda SalatI family, and use to boost that is wilaya was being passed to him by SHEIKH Nd a Salati during his haqiqa upon taking him to sheikh. He',s one of the core Qadarriyah in Ilorin.

#Quite agree with you, you wouldn't believe the wealth of wisdom one would gain from listen to such wasi. I pray some people that have access to these many vital videos would do the needful one day. I just downloaded some software days back for editing videos in a bid to extract what Sheikh Jamiu(rm) was saying during the visit to his house by some muridis. You are welcome back, alfa
See that video you just commented on, i just watched the actually video at the time i posted it yesterday. I only listened to audio post by a NL member few yrs ago. I have been longing for actual video. You can see he cried in the clip.
You just watched it recently wow? It has been long really that I have watched it, during this VHS of a things then. I got to know about in KN almost a yr plus after that video was recorded. Immediately we had a semeter break, on reaching Ilorin, I sought out for his videos. Luckily for me my mum had already got both the audio cassette and video copy. I remembered watching it repeatedly then and listening to audio. It was somebody I borrowed that lost the audio cassette, also the video got lost.

He actually became more popular immediately after his demise, especially because of his eloquence and authoritative statement concerning wilaya. No Alfa or few Alfa had openly proclaim that before him, and also make it more accessible or feasible to young people to aspire to be wail, like he did. Some of his other sermon I later listened to was superb, he indeed has gift of commindication.

Empiree:
For clarification purposes, he died in 96 or 98?. My friend when i was in ilorin in 1998 told me he died in 96 at the age 36 but i later found out his report was not credible. 98 was not plausible at the age of 46/48 if i am right?. Now that i watched the actual footage, i feel bad and feel inspirational as well. I had to record the audio for 18 mins. The dhikr lasted 18 minutes and i listened to it back and forth to work until I lost the phone. The man was definitely seeing something we cannot see. This confirms what i was saying that seeing ruhanuyun or malaikat is like getting close to grave. wallah alam. The man really closed to Allah faah
He died shortly afterward of that video. It was a naming ceremony which the father of the child- Farul Ulama decided to name the boy after him-Sashili. So he died around 98 at prime age of something close to 40yrs. Though I didn't know the exact yr.

No doubt he has reached some level in wilaya, so much so that he's sure of what he is seeing or saying. Perhaps may his frequent seeing of those spiritual beings also signal he's nearing his end. May Allah forgive him and have mercy on his SOUL and other Muslims. Amin. He was rare bred!

This is the point. This is where we are now. Quran is correct. "And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves". Q42:14

This ayah is currently active. And the bottomline is, no one wants to be called ignorant. So they always have to come up with something to criticize as a salafi mufti said last night at the masjid rebuking extreme ppl. He himself criticizes what he doesn't know but he is moderate salafi brother. I am getting to know you more now. You can hide it. grin That ilorin is somethign else. I knew since you said you base in ilorin, you must have some sort of "ruhya energy". Just learned about Sheikh Olodo after his death. Never heard of him before until someone uploaded his RIP pic on fb days after he died. Sounds like you got hidden shuyukh in nija. Same with another sheikh that died recently in ilorin wearing white gown short white beard. I think Sheikh Oloko is his name. You got ulama in nija faa. Ppl dont take advantage. These men are exiting earth at 70MPH
#Yes around that time he died, I was in secondary school then. Lol... no am not yet into tariqah. I have not for once sit with any group to do zikr, but of course I do more on my own as much Allah give me strength. The only thing is that I received more instructions from tijaniya sheikhs off physical that I might be tempted to say I be one of them lol. Though sheikh Bulala was more often than the others.

#What a beautiful verse there. That is what is happening majorly in Islam. May Allah keep us on the right guidance. Amin

# Which one be ruhya energy again Lol. And if there is any does that been limited to ilorin?? My first impactful spiritual experience happened on your soil in abk during my nysc during itikaf. So is everywhere.

# Yes I concour. That's is exact what is happening. Mostly hidden.

May Allah have mercy on his soul and others Muslims. Amin. So he is late now? I love that second video, infact I just downloaded it.

this is woow. It reaffirms that ayah in sura al-imran.

subhanallah. That sheikh is something else. I know definitely he disguised. Our shuyukh don't wanna say much about him in public.Take for instance sheikh Aminu Abata Oniwasagbaye (ra), he would only speak briefly about him. People don't have details about him except little known to them that they don't even understand, they are confused and concluded that he must be mubtadi. They should have rather obey the messanger (saw) when he said to keep quiet if you don't know.

So this is true. His son was right then when he said "my father is living and he's around us". This statement is very heavy to some people. So it is true that these Awliya could teach in their realm. Sheikh Ahmed Alaye (ra) reported to have said that sheikh Tajudin al-Adhabi to used to teach him in his sleep.

So you dey pretend all this while like you know little but you are actually close to sheikh Bulala cheesy

These young muslims today think that those shuyukh were misguided. You see them on FB condemned them. I asked one of them that, but those baba gave us Islam otherwise we would have been kufar today. He replied that they gave us fake Islam and now we are following true Islam. Honestly it is difficult talking to those people.
#YES! but extremely concealed sheikh. Though people often regard them but their appearance make lots not taking him serious.

#Of course they are. since the day I saw him coming out of his grave in a dream, I believe there are SOULs after their demise that can be favoured to roam about in bazakh, an hadith testified to that. While some are forever tied into their grave till yaoma kiyamoh especially the kufar, showing them their abode morning end evening as Allah says in Quran regarding firaun.

#Perhaps, may be not in formal way, that's why I think I wasn't close to them. I was still very young well sheikh passed away, so I deemed it so. But of course spiritually, we were much closer, accidentally I would say. Because I was never a tijaniyah, nor into any tariqah then.

#Honestly, the reverse is the case NOW!. We're practising adulterated Islam and as well Tassawuf. That sheikh Olodo made mentioned of that in that part 2 clip. There are so many knowledge now with little iman, and will power to engage more in doing. The sahaba then would not learn more Qur'an simply that the one they've already learnt as not been put into practise. But now, you see people quoting endless Quranic verses and ahadith they NEVER put to use or benefit from. A single verse or hadith well understood and put into use sincerely can have unimaginable spiritual development on us.
