You will hear from me very soon.

I will also share it here very soon.

It seems the boss is kinda busy these days. Please what's your take on helping a non muslim with Islamic prayers??
I believe that is part of being good to them and of course I see nothing bad in that as empiree has said if the thing doesn't involve Haram.

But I think in addition to any prayer you say for them, do pray for their guidance, Allah guiding them and make them see the beauty of Islam and accepting it for their ultimaye salvation in the hereafter.

Back to my question. Is it right to help a Christian brother with Islamic Dafa'ee??
Secondly have you ever used Dala'eeIul Khairat In formulating prayers? I was told that it is very hot!
I am still expecting from you o.

BTW what are the "combo" Dua from Dalilu Khaer you have, share it.

It's my favourite Dua book and it has really bring greater good. Let discuss more how you use it.

Some read it and by like, "good, that madam rice seller in the corner, I go deal with her for abusing me 5yrs ago" cheesy
Lol @ rice seller grin
IslamRe: ...... by LadunaI(m):
Please my sheikh edit that post as Excel70 said, people might start trying this upandan Lol.

But I see the philosophy of being patient and forgiving as Quran advocated because the truth of the matter is, the man pulling the that stuff willnot be at peace. And along every move of his is incurring wrath of Allah by his many doings e. g throwing the extract of glorious words of Allah in space away, or behind adogan. He will be having his share of that calamity.

I think I get you quite well, nothing we cannot achieve thru Glorious Quran if we have faith in it, rather than thinking elsewhere and in the process getting into shirk.

However, the positivity of how to invent/bring what was never was or would be, should be our focus of research in using Quran. Uplifting our lifes and lifes of people around us.

Perhaps share more for us all those oungbóngê nakali you know in the Quran to open our eyes further.

How about those claiming there is no jalabi in Islam, are they off?.

Also what's your take on cobweb, does it have any significant to ones qadar?.

Modified

Came across this thread and realized it was discussed before. But still, let's hear your view.

https://www.nairaland.com/2625242/prayer-cobweb-attack
You've beautifully sum it up in that thread and provided an antidote; prayers, adhkar etc within the limit set by Sharia for that particular problem been discussed and by extension to any other. I see nothing wrong with that.

Of course you'll see many that might still have reservation for or for the name given to it. But that doesn't negate the fact that is within 4th e limit provided by Sharia.

Jalabi ( جالب) or healing or شفاء

Let's discuss this controversial topic that is causing so much brouhaha in yorubaland. What is your definition and and understanding of this topic in Islam. Some said there is no jalabi in islam. Some said the kalima itself does not exist, hence it cant be used even if definition is right. Some simply dont like the name. Some believe it is mix and needs sorting etc. Some believe without doubt that it is in islam backed by Quran and Sunnah.
What is Jalabi? This seems to have different definitions to do many people.

As much as there are evidence within sunnah of how some sahaba pray using Quran as a cure for certain ailment or problem, there seems that many modern days forms of healing as taking different dimensions, combining the above methodology with orthodox form of healing obscuring what is halal from haram.

oh you lived in Kano before.

What's his name then?. I always hear "Sheikh Albani Zaria". I thought that was his name
Yes for some time.

His name was Sheikh Jafar, he was assassinated when praying solat subh at his residence @ Kofar Mata near BUK old site.

It was more of politically motivated killing during Shekarau tenure, during electioneering in 2007.

The other one is Sheikh Albani Zaria you mentioned up there killed by BH in Kaduna with one of his wife.

Now I'm able to get good picture through Sheikh Ja'far's Google search. I was trying to remember Sheikh Muhammad Auwal Albani Zaria.

I don't know the one @bold. Hearing about the name first time. What happened to that one?
No that's not a name for the Sheikh, but the name of neighborhood where he was murdered. It was an area, though can't remember vividly if that's truth, but heard about it when it happened. I had long left KN when it happened.

his name really went off my head. I have been struggling to remember. I used to mention his name back in 2014. He was killed before or after given lecture on his way home along with his wife and children by BH. Allegation first emerged that Sufis killed him as presented by Sheikh Isa Akindele(this was just sectarian trash that was not substantiated). The hausa man was Salafi and was said to know so many ahadith. I just can't remember his name anymore but if I see his picture I know him. As for Sheik Ja'far Mahmud Adam he was shot while praying salat.
OK....Yeah Sheikh Jafar was murdered while praying salat, I think Kofar Mata in Kano. He was critical of those called Puritans at the time when he was assassinated.

He gives HUD lectures in Hausa, so he wasn't frequently invited to campus them to deliver lectures unlike Sheikh bn Uthman who is regular guest then. The lecture theatre always filled to it capacity whenever he was invited to give lecture at BUK.

Good suggestions you've provided up there, I pray we get there one day. And I think the day we put aside much of differences and argue less about less important things we will bring more development within ummah, but sectarian differences has wrecked havoc. Kalimat Sahadda should be the yard stick...once you declare that, you're my brother and sister in deen and then work together for common good of the Ummah.

Thanks for that beautiful hadith and those references.

#2. The only noticeable thing you will see in your old hood Gari Alimi after many yrs is, Geri Alimi - Under Pass road built by immediate pass administration, and that's only major project he did for the whole of eight yrs...lol May Allah help us in Nigeria, we have along way to go in all ramification.

LOL... i was there less than a week. I hope they revive it tasawwuf. Muslims in nigeria especially yorubaland dont make use of many opportunities that Allah opened for them in islam especially job and dawah opportunities. It is sasd and this is due to sectarian differences. Mawlid is one big opportunity but they don't make use of it.
That's more than enough to meet with NL delegations atleast for a day lol... Even check on on your second home-Ilorin, and see how it looks like now. I guess you run go back seen how 'disorganized' Nigeria was...lol

It well, we shall definitely meet one day insha Allah here or there. But you no do well, after 20yrs, you for plan like a month visit now before heading back again. Perhaps other commitment might not permit it especially job.

The attack from Puritans on legitimacy of maolud is enough distraction, and couple with ignorance of many murid to taking advantage of such occasions and benefiting from it.

For how many days do you recite that Surat yasin 313. The one I posted above.

i very much hate those lazy guys. They are the reason puritan condemn tassawuf. I just wonder if there isn't proper coordination or top learned men to put these people in check?. They annoy me a lot. They come out and start speaking woroworo. Everything in Nigeria is just always negative especially when it comes to Muslims. It is not too late to rectify things now. The way things are going down I am afraid Islamic spirituality will be obliterated either by way of total condemnation or hereticism(devoid of figh and Sharia). I went to Nigeria briefly 2 weeks ago first time in about 20yrs. Spent very
short time with my sheikh and asked few questions. Alhamdululah he didn't differ from many things we have said here generally.

Indeed. Same surfaced some years back. Just watch out for mad news. Media hate this kind of thing. They don't want mankind to hear or know anything positive relate to "Muhammad". You get to hear arrests of Muslim boys and their names are muhammad. But their hands don fall now. They have tried this several years ago but failed. Here we are again, Muhammad tops the list of baby names in America.
Wow 20yr! And you don't let us know so that we can meet up and say Salam live and direct. Thank God for the journey mercies.

I believed it can be rectify, provided this kind of preaching is intensify, though might take longer time but definitely possible.

Tassawuf is NOT for tom and harry. It just an elementary school leavers going directly to MSc...Lol

The JINNS, RUHANIYYA, ANGELS (other than aligning to the nature of a lower realm accessible to them in order to access it) cannot exceed/transcend there native realm but can only rise through the ranks therein, thats what JIBRIL (as) was alluding to in the word of God Q 37:164.

Its only MAN (through his spirit) that can access all the realms. Its only MAN (his spirit) that could hold in trust the sirri of ISMUL-A‘ZAM Q33:72, also such position requires the personification of all the name/attributes passively @ once, which is impossible even for the angels coz there atomic configuration is simple & not complex like that of the MAN. Thats why God told them in Q2:30- that he knew what they know not (that there confg. cannot withstand the rigor that comes with his vice-garency), until then, the angels have no idea of the high names which are extentions of the ISMUL-A‘ZAM.

So, Asif, Alkhidr e.t.c metamorphosed or got absorbed permanently into the state of the ruhaniyyun while alive : too much of YA HAYYU YA QAYYUM can achieve that if you are intrested. Lolz

#Yeah, its actually his SIGNET (sceptre of his reign/prophethood).

#Yeah, I‘m also looking for it, I‘ve only got the story. I think Asif developed it through numerology.

They would tell you did the nabi do that?. Ma Sha Allah, we understand message communicated to us indirectly.

JazakaAllah khayran!

As Sheikh Imran Hussein rightly said that knowledge is of two types:

That is internally received

That is externally observed

The former is for those who "internal eyes" i:email eyes on the heart with which they see.

Sheikh Adam (ra) said, there are those who only pursue external knowledge and abandoned or do not believe anything else exist besides. He said you have to hold on to the two.

@LadunaI,

#The only thing powerful than the numbers is the forces they sprouted from & then the God of those forces.

#The concept (amr) of numbers & the huruf (words, names) are all from the same realm even though the numbers are a degree higher than the hurufs.

#Numbers are like the spirits that power the hurufs while the hurufs constitutes the name(s)/word(s) that begets existence.

#So, if you want to unravel the mystery of the word of God & by extension, existence, you‘ll need to consult the numbers.

#Our existence religious & otherwise are bounded by numbers viz- age, time, salat, fasting, breath, etc are all defined by numbers.

#God, at the end of suratul jinn, said “everything created is bounded by numbers“ meaning the sphere of the number system is above creation.

# Without us going esoterical at all, the monster info-comm-tech (computer based) has become in the world of today & its futuristic prospects is enough attestation to the formidable power of the numbers.

#Yes, 19 open the Quran & therefore occupys a lofty position in it. If we are to start enumerating the prodigies of 19 here, even eternity would not suffice. Where would we start from?

....is it the 19 spheres which when arranged in circles defines the blueprint of mystical astrology?

.....or the يد القدرة (hand of power) -the bones of the hand which are 19 with the carpal giving 8, which is the ordinal of 19 in the primes? Totaling 27 sura naml. With the 19th sura opening with 5 dissected characters while the remaining characters of the verse totaling 19? From which Mary got the power in her hand when God said she should shake with her hand the dead palm date & it shall sprout out dates for her instantly.

#Al-badr-l-badur, Imam ali ibn abi taalib (may God sanctify his countenance) was asked one day concerning the properties of basmalat, he said “if I wish I can produce a camel load of books from it “ . Thus is the power of 19!....

You see your ruh everything is centered around energies both positive and negative is it has to be at the right balance of being positively charged to get access to certain realms in which you see truth for true and see pure for pure.

The thing there is how are you going to maintain that balance it's all up to you can you keep up is what should be in your mind.

You see almighty Allah likes an act no matter how small but should be consistent he might want to test you in the sense that after that 40 days you might not even see results but might think well am just suffering my self and truth that's not it, look for an Ibada that fits your energy and time, Islam is not hard it's simple the act is not mandatory look for what you think can work for you and hope for the best.

But prayer it self needs patience as I have come to know it's not black magic that once you put this act and two together it starts instantly even it's by Almighty Allah will the black magic worked, with Dua and prayers you have to be patient hope for the best and be cool no matter the outcome.

Prayers, duas are like you digging a well how close you are to Allah is what determines the tool you use for the digging you might not get water for a month when digging with a tool of less importance while you might get results within a week or an hour depends on your instrument. In which that instrument is what determines how close you are to your Rabb.

Some people are pure like I have stated before depends on your configuration some people from birth are Walliy of Allah others struggle to reach there you can't compare both, one would be more than the other in rank.

(That's why some people you see them even if they sin sometimes they still have that grace from almighty Allah but some others that worked for it if they sin they have to start again to get their ruh in the pure form)

The context above is on closeness to the almighty so just know no two people are the same someone might get a response even when he eats meat and fish and all because of how he was configured while others need to abstain from food containing blood.

Some on getting to a height go for seclusion to get the heart and service for Allah alone just like the people of the past Mariam the mother of Isa was in seclusion too till she met the Spirit, some prophets too went into seclusion too, going into seclusion is good too it aids it but they are two types seclusion the one of the heart you could mingle with people or seclusion of the whole body you in a room alone.

But mind you, these days it's hard to seclude yourself for the body unless you have a good business and you married because who would make things work for you and how would you feed and all.

But anyone you decide it's all up to you.
You could create your own formula yourself and see, that was kuti's formula and it worked for him and might be working for others too.
If you have any you could go by it also

There are so many righteous path to reach almighty Allah so far you on the right path rightly guided you could use anyone close to you that match your energy.

Your God won't put on you more than you can bear you too don't put in yourself more than you can bear.

If you walk to your Lord he would come to you running and if you run he would come to you flying.

It been long my sheikh, we're thirsty of irfan knowledge. Give us something to ponder over. Even the stories you normally share goes along in open our eyes to some important stuff.

Read a thread recently that the name Muahammed is now among the 10 most common name given to new born in the State now. Wow! more of that till Islam spread more in that part of the world. And hope with beautiful dawah.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Empiree. Indeed, I remember reading about the ruhaniyun story you gave in the 'Jinns Stories' thread about the court case. Allah is indeed just! The Alpha did say that him being imprisoned is the best for him, as it is the only way he would learn his lesson. I accepted that it was what Allah had decreed for him. But as I said in my previous post, it raised the question of 'destiny' to me because I was grappling to understand why it was that the Alpha(and some others) had previously stated that he would be released(but fall into greater trouble ), only to later tell me that he had to be convicted and given a jail term in order to prevent him from going down the criminal path. It made me wonder whether there was a trade-off, e.g he serves a short prison term but lives to learn his lesson vs him being released, to then be convicted for an offense much greater than the current one. He mentioned that had my brother being released, the future offense he would have committed would have had him sentenced to a length so long, that by the time he came out, he would have been middle-aged (he's only in his early twenties). So I guess this fell into the changeable/mutable ambit of his destiny, right? Makes sense! I, however, asked for greater depth to it because I remember Ikupakuti made mention of there being three classes of destiny. I'm assuming mutable/immutable make up the two, what is the third?

I'm assuming that if it changeable by dua/sadaqa, that it is also open to manipulations by people with devious means, correct?

Pertaining to the Alpa, I will try my best to ask him about it. When it comes to these matters, I do not know if there are rules of etiquette one must abide by in how far one pries, hence why I am here instead(lol). He comes off rather taciturn/reticent in how much he reveals, so I'm usually put off in asking too many questions. I've often wondered whether it has to do with my age, sex or my spiritual immaturity( or all three...lol). Here's why I say this, and this ties into the 'Jinn' issue and why it was that I made the search I referred to in my earlier post. Here goes:

I was called to the Bar a year ago and I've been job-hunting ever since but to no avail. Initially, I thought I was punching above my weight with the jobs I applied for. So I decided to lower my expectations and apply for jobs on par with my skills, experience, and qualifications. Still nothing. I've gone as far as to apply for internships and volunteer work, still nothing. I was put in touch with two people to enquire about what was happening. The first person I spoke to said that there was someone in my family, a woman on my father's side, who is 'fighting' me. Lol. He further detailed that the person knows my every move, and is privy to my thoughts, and that being the case, puts stumbling blocks in my path for every move. I, of course, had plenty of questions to ask this man, because being a spiritual novice, there are things that the logical mind finds difficult to comprehend. How could someone be privy to my thoughts? Lol. Anyway, he asked that I call him the following day as he had something else he wanted to check(he didn't tell me what that was). I called the following day but he didn't answer. Up to today, this man hasn't responded to or returned my calls. And my questions went unspoken and unanswered. That was the first man.

Being that he 'disappeared' into thin air, I was put in touch with someone else. He said the same thing the man above said, only that he was explicit enough to state that the person 'fighting' me has a jinn that she uses and that the jinn is used to spy on me in order to report my moves to her, which she then uses to do her 'devilish' work. The man spoke at length but refused to say who the person is( which I understand, I guess every job has its rules). He further elaborated on how this person has used her jinn to engage in many heinous activities, and that the jinn has been 'stained.' Anyway, the same thing that occurred with the first man, occurred with this one, too. After this conversation that we had, he refused to pick up any calls I made to him. I wondered why this has happened on two occasions. All of this has happened within the last three weeks.

After speaking to the two men above, I finally was able to get hold of the Alpha that was involved with my brother's case. He is hard to get hold of as he frequents different countries often. Anyway, once I got hold of him, I explained to him about my job situation(but did not disclose anything the other two men told me). All the Alpha told me was that I had 'eyes' and 'mouth' on me but refused to elaborate further on this(this goes to explain why I said he comes off taciturn to me). When I ask and I do not get an answer, I often take a step back from asking any further questions, because I do not want to overstep the mark. All he said is that there is something that can be done to block their eyes/put a veil between us, which he should do in the coming weeks, Insha Allah.

But hearing of this Jinn issue is why I started researching them online. I guess one doesn't take much of an interest in something until it hits close to home. Of course, I know that they are mentioned in the Quran, and being Muslim requires that one believes in their existence. But I wanted to read people's personal experiences. My initial search led me to sites where people from Asian backgrounds(Pakistan in particular) gave their experiences, but I wanted something closer to 'home', hence the reason why I googled search 'Jinns nairaland' to see if anything would come up. So I hope this goes some way in explaining why I did this search, Empiree.  smiley
Subhannallah! This is really deep, and I actually enjoy reading this your story because I have learnt from it.

In addition to what others have said. I'd wanted not to talk about the first issue about DESTINY because it was delicate issue that have even split the ummah into 'three'. The first are those who believed that everything that happens to us is as a result of Allah's written it down for us, we have no any input into it, this is know as Qadariyah people. The second are those that believed that everything that happen to us is as a result of our free will, no form of any hands of God in it, this is known has Jabariyah. And of course the middle mainstream ummah who believed that our DESTINY is a result of combination of Allah's omnipotence and our 'free will'.

That being said, this brings us to the idea of immutability/mutability. In which the former is sole prerogative of Allah on our lives as HE wishes that about sonething should happen to us so shall it be. Note this might be something we like or hate ('good' or 'bad') but generally the deeper wisdom in all these from Allah is for GREATER good, to draw us closer to Him and be inheritor of Paradise because Allah is extremely merciful. For the later- Mutability this is where our prayers comes in, and we were told that is ONLY prayers that can bring give us anything good we so desire (either bringing new good thing or preventing harm reaching us).

So as a Muslims anything that happens to us is from Allah be it from 1. His absolute power or 2.through the 'evil eyes' (or our self) subject to His permission. So the wisdom in this is that not everything 'ugly' that happen to us if from evil people and even at that, if so, Allah enable it to happen for greater good, the case of Prophet Yusuf( as) comes to mind. So no need asking from any Alfa WHY because they will always have someone to point accusing finger within the family, but know Allah is in control and only prayer from you and fellow brothers/sisters can bring relieve at the end of the day.

So the case for your brother might from what his hand wrought, Allah letting that happen to him to teach him lessons. And in your own case it might be from absolute power of Allah that that should happen in your life initially, for more better opportunities in the future. So we may not privy to all these wisdoms of Allah in all maters but as a Muslims we must believe it happens for greater goods. This is what is codify in Surat Khaf we were oblige to read every Friday. I mean Prophet Musa(as) and Al Khidr(as) story. We can always use that as template in understanding the wisdom why certain things are happening in our lives.

Bottom line PRAYER (Du'a) is the KEY to ALL goodness!. And that itself is WORSHIP and the essence of our IBADAH anyway, as we were told in one hadith. So pls don't worry to much about destiny or why or whom might behind our 'ordeal' . the master key is always Du'a - Prayer and concern ourselves with PLEASING Allah!

May Allah Guide and protect us all amin. This my little token. Others will add more. Stay blessed sister!

another is nabi (saw) would spend equivalent of time to recite the said surat in Sujud, rukuh, tashahud. This was in response to one of them over a year ago after he termed staying long in last part sujud, 'bidiah'. So i said, you should stay an hr in each posture then just for 5 daily salat. That was the end of the discussion.

I really like what he said and how to go about getting those charlants. I am sick of them. Yes, i watched the guy retracted his statements.

You sensed that too cheesy He said sheikh(ra) himself would not know why it was happening. It is a form of daraja, as you rightly said "medal award". They need to go hard on that guy flaunting tesuba, with lantern and the other idiot that resembles white egungun with bunch of sheikh Niyas(ra) pictures on him. They are a disgrace.
Some people think by mimicking on just physical appearance is what make then like those people alas! These sheikhs suffer untold story in their journey towards Allah, and the level of hardship of sahaba on the part of deen can't be fathomed.

That's how Allah enable them to subdued their nafs. We need more than enough now, to scale up to even miniscule of their achievement nowadays where distraction, sin and abominable things are the order of the day. Would 70k istighfar even be enough? May Allah look past our shortcomings and forgive us all with His Rahmah amin.

Loool! That will never happen! When they are against one-word zikrs demanding 100 - 313 recitations, is it such "mountains" they will now be reciting?!
Of course they don't have liver to do that, because they will started saying Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is not 'human' bla bla...

If they are true in following the sunnah asbthey claim they should try and achieve half of that... Reciting a whole Surat Baqarra in a single raka, following same length of duration in ruku and sajdah as empiree reminded us above, then they can be taking serious.

Is always obvious that Allah make some certain deeds easier for someone than the other. So do the one Allah's has made easy for u as much as lie within your power.

Can they fast, pray, make dua or remember Allah as holy prophet (saw) did? Rest of us are only trying to catch up with any of these virtue as lie within our power. A time would come in which does numbers wouldn't even appeal to you again, and you will continue doing those prayer as if your life support.

not an excuse unfortunately. Rather, a lazy path to escape reality, abi?. One thing is to avoid spiritual path. Is it another thing entirely to preach against it as they do today. Qur'an and Sunnah are still here. Despite showing them evidences from both sources they are unyielding. Whose fault is that, abusers of Sufism or they have themselves to blame?
Until those "Puritans" pray tahajjud with Surat Baqara, then Imran and Nisa as Holy prophet did, I will never give them attention or take them serious.Because that's is one great sunnah in which they've systematically sidelined , most out of of extremely lazy
Interesting, I really like the way the household of Sheikh Bulala (rm) are coming out to disavowed those aberrant elements trying to tarnish the image of the sheikh.I remembered when one their son also trying to be saying 'nonsense' on the pretext of hidden knowledge Allah almighty show him. He was quickly call to order and he did a video apologizing for that mistake of tongue.

I learnt something new from the video why Sheikh Bulala was using those big tasbih round their neck...seems like a 'medal award' after the completion of some certain spiritual work lol. And also to disguise in the eyes of people that they're 'nothing' while seeking divine acceptance only.

Interesting du'a indeed. I remembered when I was told to recite this du'a in my dream, I seems to forget it that formula (ayah), and the man came again to remind me of it.

No specific format was given though, so I often recite it as I like. Can you share how exactly you use this du'a.

Thanks.
