seunmsg:There cannot be in Nigeria history again, the type of destructive campaign the Janja.weed orchestrated against the government of Goodluck Jonathan. There is nobody in Nigeria that is destroying the image of Buhari's government and the economy than Buhari himself who sent foreign inventors packing with his unfriendly economic policies and the worst is his crusade against his own country where the President comfortably tells the international community that all politicians, businesses, judiciary including agencies of government are all corrupt except himself. Who will invest in the type of country Buhari painted her picture to the international community? In terms of governance, Buhari has no slightest clue on how 21st century democracy works let alone manage the economy. Let him continue shout GEJ and what inheritance he denied him as if Fashola and Amaechi APC State governments left bounty purse for their predecessors. |
See what prejudice and lack of exposure degraded you to. Delete this nonsense and thank me later. UncleJJ: |
EternalTruths:Please edit your comment to avoid derailing our thread aimed at making Africa proud. I will edit mine afterwards. |
Guilty conscience! See how he wants to use Biafra and IPOB to divert attention and attract solidarity. |
The pictures didn't produce any true story. Are these pictures taken the same day? Why is he wearing different cloth on exit? Anyway, Okezie is the least on the ladder of Governors patronizing Private Jet. ** Op, why did you remove the last picture that exposed your malicious intent? |
bloodyBLOGGER:Get good job and stop embarrassing yourself with virtual self worth. The IPOB are self reliant and successful in every area of their respective professions. |
In the event of a referendum, the Governor has only one vote. He has the right to campaign against Biafra and also to vote "NO" but the majority will have their way. He failed to tell this audience that the midwest spearheaded the first coup. |
NgeneUkwenu:Corruption Ambassador, All the governors that their elections were upheld had the support of the majority. Forget about the vocal, wealthy, power drunk minorities. There wasn't card reader accreditation in 2011 for Rochas Okorocha of APGA to defeat an incumbent PDP Governor, Ikedi Ohakim. Your postulations are borne out of frustration and greed. The people determines the flow and moreover, if those elections were repeated today, the incumbents will still win. APC lost Bayelsa notwithstanding the Federal might and bloodshed. You see, there are more to peoples-power. You can't rig where you are not popular. |
adconline:You are still dwelling on the secondary matter as it relates to this thread. Is Lagos State a Yoruba land in relation to the extant laws of Nigeria? |
arresa:What do you gain for derailing threads with IPOB this, IPOB that? I am yet to see any IPOB you can compare in terms of intelligence and analytical skill. When confused and empty say IPOB to make up for dullness and incoherency. Na waa for Nairaland |
adconline:Your submissions relate to a situation where the said land is needed by the Government for a particular purpose and has no effect on the legality of land ownership by individuals, families and respective communities. Even Tompolo facilitated the sale of community land to FG which is a debate for another day. Moreover, the argument above is just secondary. Is Lagos State a Yoruba land according to extant laws of Nigeria? |
kingofabia:I am a pride of Southeast hence I am not against you as a person rather your unfair comparison of unequal States put in motion as to castigate a personality you bear so much grudge against instead of being realistic. Ikpeazu was deputy to ASEPA Chairman and never the head. Secondly, Ikpeazu is not to be blamed for the deplorable state of the commercial city of Aba since creation of abia State. Notwithstanding the depreciated monthly allocations from N6 billion in 2014 to average of N2.1 billion monthly in 2015 which can't even service 70% recurrent expenditure yet he still manages to embark on massive capital development (even if it is cosmetic) to alleviate the sufferings of Abia citizens. Politics aside, you are not fair to Dr Ikpeazu with your ratings thus far. NB: Why do you assume that my submissions are copied? |
kingofabia:Blame your lack of exposure and inability to be acquainted with 21st century comparative analysis, economic management and local politics |
kingofabia:Please, stop constituting nuisance on this board. Akwaibom State allocation in the past eight years equals the total allocation of five Southeast States combined. Must you infest everyone with your cluelessness? |
fizzile:Being a class monitor is different from governing a State. Your are like a Football spectator that thinks he knows better than a Coach. |
coolitempa:Bravo, you just won a medal Not surprise at your presence and comment. |
adconline:Stop confusing yourself from alternate perspective. You just corroborated what I opined. Read the constitution to understand land tenure system before debating out of context. Is there any C of O from the Government for your communal land? Now, the question is, do we have tribal or a secular State belonging to one particular ethnicity in Nigeria? In Nigeria, the State belongs to its citizens and not to tribes-people, be them Yoruba, Tiv, Igbo, Fulani or Ijaw. There is nothing like Yoruba land in Nigeria and can never be until the constitution is amended to accommodate such obnoxious definition. |
adconline:Which sacred, individual or communal land get C of O that is valid for 99 years? Does your family land possess C of O that expires in 99 years? When you sell your inheritance, it's gone. Individuals and communities issue buyers with "Power of Attorney" and not necessarily C of O because they are not the State. There is nothing like tribal/ethnic land recognized anywhere in Nigerian constitution and laws. |
Adminisher:When you sell your inheritance, it ceases to be yours. In Nigeria, there is nothing like tribal land. What we have are individual land, sacred land, communal land and state land hence there is nothing like Yoruba land according to Nigerian constitution. |
Comic relief We need $3.5 billion low interest loan to stimulate our economy and we know Italy can afford it. Just actions and no speeches. We want and pray for results. Stop flattering us. |
receiving N4.75bn from the Central Bank of Nigeria Imprest Account of the Office of the National Security Adviser under Sambo Dasuki between June 6, 2014 and December, 12, 2015.Even after Jonathan, Buhari still dey pay these guys? Who should then be blamed? |
Is this not what we have been preaching before asking out? If they no want then let them abolish indigenization policy. Shebi no be only Nigeria dey use ONE as prefix to represent it's name in order to force unity and patriotism on her diverse people. |
SunnyBlaze1:Aha ya abughi Ifeanyi. O bu Biodun. O-nwere onye ma ya e ba kporo ya aha ahu na Nairaland and the person was so sure that he couldn't deny it. Allow him the luxury of insulting and denigrating anything Igbo on this board. He has the right of way and license given/issued to him by the Nairaland Admin. |
Acquisition by force of arms. Proceeds from slavery and colonialism. Man's Inhumanity to another. |
WORDWORLD:Why don't you go and ask Shakau and Osama bin Laden? Let me tell you, if Nigeria was an European or middle east country going through this economic crunch, the west, world bank and IMF will not be forcing Nigeria to devalue our currency before lending us money. We (Nigeria) are economically better positioned than Egypt after the Arab spring yet the West didn't pull their businesses out of Egypt neither was Egypt given draconian conditions by World Bank and IMF. This is not local politics hence it's beyond your comprehension. |
Nigeria under GEJ's government was technically under arms embargo by international community, yet was fighting insurgency and militancy in two fronts hence lost the luxury of customers choice. International politics is beyond putting one and two together to arrive at either 3, 12 or even 2 whichever way you see it. |
WORDWORLD:Were you are part of the government that was technically under arms embargo by international community, yet was fighting insurgency and militancy in two fronts? Whatever effort that policy makers applied to get the arms are supposed to be commended than condemned. Even the so-called interception of the arms deal made through a contractor was an internal sabotage. |
What an exercise in futility. Stop using newspaper-stand and molue gossips for a fact. Stop misleading the already propaganda battered Nigerians. |
Is PDP campaign funding that EFCC is probing or the alleged $2.1 Arms money GEJ said doesn't exist as no such contract was signed or the Presidential Security Vote? We need specifics. Where is PDP's N21 billion realized for elections? Where are the monies realized from sell of forms? It is time to take legal action against PDP NEC for my unpaid allowances. A Labourer deserves her wages, so do I. |
naijaking1:This number of people (673 of active members on Nairaland) is already missing GEJ? Something must be wrong with this government that should be looked into and addressed. |
naijaking1:If this Government was doing great and delivering the dividend of democracy to her citizens, this wouldn't have happened. Fear of criticism leads to authoritarianism. |
Why wouldn't they beam the searchlight on Africa? A continent where the Heads of State steal from their people and ferry the money to other continents and then turn to oppress their own citizens. Is there any American/European/Asian President/Prime minister that stashed her national wealth in Africa? African Heads of Government oppress their own people whereas the Western Governments fight wars to protect theirs |
