Politics › Re: President Buhari To Resign From Office Or Face Impeachment -- NJC by LadyExcellency: 2:43pm On Jan 01, 2016 |
I was very much disappointed when I read one shallow article from tonyebarcanista today trying to justify abuse of court process and judiciary in general by the government of Mohammadu Buhari. The justification and reasons given in the said article typify intellectual fraud where a combination of hate and inability to interpret a two sentence judgment overwhelmed him thereby obfuscating the entire pronouncement delivered by the honourable judge. Federal court grants Nnamdi Kanu unconditional release
The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday granted the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, bail, the News Agency of Nigeria is reporting.
Ruling on his bail application, Justice Adeniyi Ademola, said Mr. Kanu, who is the director of pirate station, Radio Biafra, should be released unconditionally while the case against him continues.

Politics › Re: The Implication Of Supporting Buhari's Stand On Dasuki And Kanu by LadyExcellency: 7:23pm On Dec 31, 2015 |
Marvin67: This is a clear explanation of the implication of Buhari's stand on the release of Dasuki and Kanu. Let's assume you were having a stroll around Asokoro, with your friends and discussing politics as usual, in the heat of the argument, you refer to president Buhari as the Daura President and other names as people usually do in nairaland. Meanwhile the presidents convoy is passing by, and somehow the president's security team hears your comment, you get arrested, taken to court, the court sets you free, but you don't get released simply because Buhari believes you are guilty and you must get jailed for life. I hope you'd keep praising him then. Remember what goes around comes around . A president was once pelted with stones in Nigeria, and he didn't even order the arrest of the people.
The hypocrisy in this matter is that those who are supporting Buhari in all this, are the same ones who were jubilating when a sitting president was been pelted with stones, if that president had the mind of Buhari, all those who pelted him with stones would have been shot dead immediately or sent to jail for life. Would the people supporting Buhari today have supported Jonathan if he had done that? Imagine someone pelting Buhari's convoy with stones. Just imagine what would happen. If you support injustice today, there may be no one left to fight for you when injustice chooses to fight you. |

If anything, the president will use a question in that regard to make haters look so daft and stewpid.
He has N114million for feeding in one year compared to GEJ's N1bn and you think his is too much? Go and check the aggregate components of the purported N1 billion as portrayed on the media and then do the maths to see percentage increase compared to 2016 food budget. If you're intelligent as claimed, you would've downloaded the pdf version and do the computation to see 2016 is far beyond N1 billion |

What essential "ingredients" in toothpaste are responsible for those actions?
1. *** Abrasives: this can also be gotten from crushed egg shells or your normal "vim" used in washing pots.
2. *** Common detergent placed in toothpastes is sodium lauryl sulfate.
Mix 1 and 2 (make sure you use enzyme free detergent) instead of wasting you costly toothpaste and voilà you get the same result. |

From 1999 when PDP took over the reigns of power to 2015, the price of oil more than quadrupled on the average- did we see a corresponding growth in the economy??
I think the only industry that witnessed such massive growth as the price of oil is corruption.
I imagine what Buhari did with a few nairas saved from a reduction in subsidy when he oversaw PTF. Now, imagine what he could have done had he been given access to all Jonathan had access to as president... Just imagine that..
Decided to look up the site and was wondering what the "illuminati" graphic is doing there. Is that their logo or something?? Then I saw that all their stories follow one dimension- they are anti Buhari/Government and pro PDP and Biafra. I think this is another "BreakingTimes.com".

Too much of everything is bad. Too much talk means nothing. The Igbo land you know today is only 45 years old in development. You can't imagine in your lifetime how Aba was before the war. In all these, Nigerian Government signed a document to reconstruct and rehabilitate Eastern Nigeria as one of the conditions for Biafra to be reintegrated into Nigeria. Now, ask yourself, where is the reconstruction and rehabilitation by Federal government after 45 years? PassingShot: You're a joke.
EFCC is not your regular police. It has the power to arrest you based on evidence of financial crimes about you at their disposal.
Check your facts, ECA was $47.7bn when Fortunato took over.
All other things you spewed are gibberish. The worst of its all is you sycophants write off Yaradua administration for Jonathan. ECA was $31.7 billion in September 2011 while excess crude account was scandalized by APC led governors forum See this half-baked local champion trying to rewrite facts with propagandized fiction while feeling funky. [b]“It is absolutely not true that the Administration of President Goodluck Jonathan has squandered the nation’s reserves”, it said, maintaining that “at the end of May 2007, Nigeria’s gross reserves stood at $43.13 billion – comprising the CBN’s external reserves of $31.5 billion, $9.43 billion in the Excess Crude Account, and $2.18 billion in Federal Government’s savings. These figures can be independently verified from the CBN’s records”, insisting that “the figure of $67 billion cited in some recent commentary is therefore factually incorrect”.
The statement further added that “it is a misconception to think that reserves are immutable or cast in stone. The reality is that since May 2007, the reserves have fluctuated in line with developments in the international oil market, rising from $43.13 billion at that time, peaking at $62 billion in September 2008 during the Yar’adua/Jonathan Administration when oil prices reached a peak of $147 per barrel, and falling subsequently to a low of $31.7 billion in September 2011″.

PassingShot: Akpobolokemi was gently asked to come with the police who has gone to arrest him on different matter from those which he was granted bail and he resisted arrest. No where in the world will anyone resisting arrest be treated better than what those policemen did to him. He could easily have been seriously injured. In fact, such resistance is another crime entirely.
As for the state of economy, sensible persons know that what we're going through today is a result of our bad decisions from many years ago. Decision to waste our unprecedented dollars earned from crude sale with noth much to show for it. Decision to plunder our ECA to an abysmal level of $29bn from $47bn that GEJ met it instead of growing it. You are not ashamed to defend this indefensible. The statement you overlooked is; "Worse still the operatives (EFCC) did not have an arrest warrant and what they did was manifestly unlawful". What depletes ECA? For your information the ECA was $32bn and not $47bn. Nigeria constitution doesn't support savings and ACN and Governors Forum led by APC explained better. Stop being uber sycophant and look at the merits of write-up. You condemn shiites killing and 100%ly support the massacre of Biafrans. Hypocrite |
