I’m back again o. This time I’d like to know how can one get a care job as an international student in this uk? I’m asking because I’ve been applying to all the advertised vacancies to no avail. They want someone with a full uk driving license and access to a car, two things I currently don’t have although I’ve been driving for years in Nigeria and hold a valid Nigerian and international driving license.
Please help me o 🙏🏾.
Anyone with information or link with agencies that will employ newbies like me. I reside in Derby.

Hi guys, pls how do I convert naira from my Nigeria bank account and receive it in pounds in the UK?

If you’re in the UK, you can convert your Naira to Pounds on Lemonade (LemFi) app. Then send your pounds to any uk account.

Good evening seniors in the house.
I just arrived UK on a student visa. I have a BSc Chemistry degree and a prior MSc Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry degree. I’m currently enrolled at the University for MSc Forensic Science Programme.
I guess my question is, what additional resources, skills or activities do I need to learn in these fields to make me job ready at the end of my degree? Bear in mind that I’ve no major prior work experience in these fields as I’ve only worked in Administrative roles since leaving school.
I’m not desperate to get student jobs at the moment, rather I’m looking for guidance on what to do whilst studying to make myself a formidable candidate in the job market on graduation.
Please any advice/input will be greatly appreciated especially from folks with experience in the fields mentioned above. Thank you 🙏🏾.

Crime / Re: Stepmum Stabs UNIABUJA Undergraduate To Death (Photo) by ladyinred: 6:49pm On Jan 13, 2018
metroblogger:
An 18- year- old 200-level student of Statistics at the University of Abuja, Awal Sani, was on Thursday January 11th, stabbed to death by his mother's rival during a family fued at their home in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The Nation reports that Sani's stepmum, Rukayat Abdulkareem had confronted her mate, Sani's mother, over their missing husband.

It was while Sani was trying to calm his stepmum that she stabbed him to death.

Younger brother to the victim’s mother who narrated the unfortunate incident, said

“Between 10:00 p.m. and 10.30 p.m,, I heard someone banging on the door and I came outside, I asked her what she wanted and she said she was looking for her husband. I know the woman, they were living close to us here in Pipeline before they packed to Kaduna road. I told her that I would check and see if I can call the husband for her. I went inside, I met my sister and informed her that the man’s wife was outside looking for him, my sister said she was going to meet the woman, I tried to stop her and told her she was not the one the woman came for but she insisted. So I followed her because I didn’t want any problem. We met the woman and then I realised that if they start talking, it may result to another thing. So, I asked my sister to go inside and went to pipeline police station. I invited a policeman, he asked the woman what the problem was, she said she was here to see her husband. The policeman asked her to follow him to the station so she can write a statement and they will return to pick her husband. But she said she was not going anywhere so the policeman left. I went inside the house and the next thing I heard was that they had stabbed Awal. I rushed out, we did all we could to save him. We rushed him to the hospital and the doctor confirmed him dead and we brought him back home. She had left when I rushed out but the vigilante men caught and brought her later and we kept her till the police arrived''

The deceased was meant to have returned to school on Monday January 15th

This incident happened in my neighbourhood. The boy's mother is a widow, and a mistress to a married man. It was the man's wife who stabbed Awal. The woman was not his step mum.

Sorry about calling u a he cheesy

I can say I'm in the same pair of shoes as yourself. Affiliate marketing is too populated. So many peeps are doing it and this has reduced chance of success. Blogging too is time consuming and its lack of success is almost frustrating.

I have made up my mind to go into forex trading. I am working to raise $100 and fund a forex trading account. I am a member of a group on Watsapp and they release free forex signals almost every day. There are also many experts in that group and they are always ready to help with information. With very good strategy, I'm certain one can make minimum of 50% of his/her investment after a month.

I will suggest to you dear sister to look in that direction. Forex trading does not depend on anyone except you. With good strategy you will make it big and live comfortably and independent of any job. I must however warn you that forex trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme. No, it is not. But if you are patient, your money will grow with time and you can be financially independent. If you want, I can ask the admin of that group to add you.

The rule of that group is that no one is allowed to do advert; anyone who advertises will be banned.
Please add me to that forex group.
