My sis in-law has gone thru 4 CS ooo and she's fine with her kids although she gave gap like 2 -3yrs. My doc even said he has done up to five depending on how good the person is and most importantly he said the woman must give enough spacing of the kids. So u will be fine ma

Some of these doctors their second names are guess work.
One of my neighbors lost her child because of prolonged Labour, instead of doing CS, they kept inducing and inducing until the unfortunate happened.

Such sweet sweet BS from August mamas ooo,thank God for the maternal instinct and victories. @Sassy256 ur BS remeinded me of mine, doc was still trying to fix anoda hot drip i no gree again ooo I say make dem comot am. I opted for the cs after them remove baby she no cry no kick just dey cold. If I had continued with that yeye labour stuff my baby for be history today. Hmm devil has surely failed indeed,God will grant the rest mamas safe and easy delivery. Mother and baby alive is our watchword and portion in Jesus me amen.

I dey purge , my baby dey purge the more, almost after eating. My stomach dey make noise, my baby own makes hella noise we are both using flagyl
They didn't give him his immunization. They say until his purging stop
Honestly I don't even know what I ate, if it's the beans I ate since Sunday e suppose don work finish nah.

Na so my belle tooo dey make noise join baby own she poo freely though BT me I dey battle with slight constipation. If my stomach settle her own too go quiet down. E go soon stop mama

Good afternoon mama, pls I have a serious challenge and dunno if anyone here might have had the experience before.

While I was pregnant, my bp has never been high even when my leg was swollen, the bp neva enter 120 bt 2 weeks after I gave birth it increase to 132/60 which the hospital gave me a drug(dopatab) to regulate it bt I didn't finish it because my mum said it's not gud for it to b too low. I went to check again today because am having slight headache and arm pain bt surprisingly it's seeing 142/97.
What could be the cause of high bp after delivery pls and wat else can I do to bring it back to normal, am seriously confuse and tired of all dis 1thing after d oda showing up after delivery

A lady that gave birth same month with me had same high bp stuff even me too mine was fluctuating with swollen legs which I developed after delivery. I discovered the stress of vigilante is affecting us very well even now headache is worrying me didn't sleep from 11pm till 6am cos of baby. I was asked at the clinic if am sleeping well I said no,I just try to relax when I can. Just visit ur clinic and try to take enough water and rest well

Mama u see that Ghana soap ehn na wonder especially if u mix it with coconut water just forget anything called Ela....While I started using jimpo Ori for my baby girl few months back and I love it on her body so baby is definitely using it too

I use my Ghana soap with original honey,I must say it's very good better than some of these fancy soap for babies

Yes its true that's why its only done once for all pregnancy u carry. And it's done at a certain week in ur third trimester of ur pregnancy. Av worked in a diagnostic lab where xray was done BT I can't remember wat week exactly so as to prevent radiation from disturbing the baby. If u do it now u won't do it again even if u born six kids . BT the clinical method hmm imagine four fingers in ur vjay. That's wat my doc used and it wasn't funny I wud av preferred the xray stuff sha. Just make sure its done at the week ur doc said since he knows best, all the best ma

Please is pelvimetry x-ray important? What I'm reading online doesn't seems good.

I was at the clinic today and the doctor said I should carry out pelvimetry x-ray.

Its important if ure a first time mom,the pelvimeitry is to check if ur pelvis is wide enough for ur baby to pass thru. Some do xray,odas do clinical pelvimetry where the doc uses his fingers to measure the width. Xray is okay,not painful just like taking a snap shot of ur waist and hip area

July mamas how the fourth trimester, tooth ache is disturbing me babdly and baby no send me still sucking boobs like her dad. How far diaper change I av used 100pcs+ and she's not one month yet. May God make provision for us all taking care of a newborn needs no be beans. I was changing one diaper put a new one and she just shoot out poo on it again I kukuma no wear her anything hmm I regretted it the poo she download next ehn full everywhere like egusi soup. I swear say I no go leave her bum like DAT again

Sorry Abt d pain love, for brand of diapers I think I will be going for kisskid while I will be using jimpo Ori as body cream, black soap (Ghana soap).... Coconut oil as hair oil

I second ur opinion mama,I use jimpo ori cream ,kisskids diapers,kernel oil and Ghana soap my baby no get rash,no peeling of skin and she's glowing. She only sweat on her fore head when sucking breast so we don't apply jimpo cream on her face to prevent rashes.

I think the place above the incision is even where all the pain and action happens... I was surprised, the incision itself didn't even pain me as much as the place above it did.. And it was worse when I tried getting up after lying down for a long while. The pain will heal soon but the numbness will be there for a while... Mine still itches me once in a while till now (it even itched me today)

The doctors removed the plaster about 3 or 4 days after the cs and asked me to be rubbing spirit on it at least 3 times a day and when possible leave it to air..
My cleaning was just with rag and water at first. After about 4 days I started using soap and towel, I would tie wrapper around the incision and bath with soap and towel, then use water and towel to rinse off the soap and dry myself... the reason for the wrapper was so that water won't mistakenly touch the incision during rinsing..
2 weeks after the cs when the wound had dried up, I started bathing fully and pouring water on myself without the wrapper over the cut...

I started bathing too once I noticed the wound was dry and it was 3 weeks post cs but I do tie cloth round my waist.my challenge na that pain above the cut especially when i try getting up. At least i can laugh and cough now without much pain unlike before. They will be saying something funny i no fit laugh abi na to cough hmm na hot water i go rush go drink because of pain. So i know its helaing since i can laugh freely oo. And my smallish tomato belle still dey dre

I didn't bathe oo, my landlady was using towel to mob my body, except the area, but it still wasn't satisfying like bathing.
That dressing nah me remove am myself, for fresh air and cleaning so I didn't close it with plaster again.

Leave my hubby na make he dey try himself, even if konji hold me I will just throw away face.Av not really bath to my satisfaction yet BT its better than the cleaning I was doing before. It was the doctor that lose the stitches and plaster oo

Doc is saying labour will be induced on 20th August (EDD no longer 7th Sept) due to fluctuating glucose level.

Baby is lying well and jumpy. Madam still twerks frequently.

Please guys, do induction encourage vaginal birth (tho we're ready for CS), painful, any long term effects?

For me I was 40weeks+ and dey tried induction which was progressing slowly,las las na cs we still do due to the stress of the labour. It works and at times it can fail,since wifey has a slight issue I guess ur doc knows best and trust ur instinct cos if I hadn't wud av lost my little Anabelle

My sis my MIL na cs expert caretaker oo,she have been in the business for long that woman bath me up and down minus the middle. After she left na cleaning for up I dey do. Now that the area is closed and dry I bath but quickly and I still cover dre with cloth tied around my waist. At least my hubby go allow me rest every time when u go start to dey bath.DAT guy dey find another missionary abi cowgirl journey. To knock person dey hungry me

Sabi mamas good morning pls I av a question those of u DAT av done cs before is the area above the wound supposed to feel stiff when I wake up especially after lying on my back its discomforting. But moving around I don't feel it and also when breastfeeding and sitting for long the numbness and pulling sensation comes again at times it kind of itches me as if I shud scratch it. I was warned against it though. Don't know again oo am just 3 weeks post cs delivery. The cs cut is healing nicely outside don't know wat to expect again.how long will it take to recover fully from this stiffness and pain

My dear, what the nurse told me even got me more confused. She said I should stop taking tea, indomie and milk. And I should reduce the rate I eat beans, egg and be eating more of vegetables. I asked her what I should be eating na since I'm expected to cut down on carbs. She said I should be eating garri (eba). Hia! I shock, no be better carbs be that? Lol

Some nurses ehn,their own wahala plenty,at least she for shut up if she doesn't know wat else to say,beans that is protein haba!abeg just drink ur water plenty,eat ur veggies and fibre rich food jare

Hmm the vigilante no be here,my baby wakes at 11pm till 4 or 5am she's still awake and sleeps around to six. In the afternoon she sleeps very well. I just dey patiently wait for her to change oo

I haven't been happy since I returned from ANC with that kind of report. Any good advice will help.

For the protein enough drinking of water helps clear it up and as for the glucose thank God ure far gone already and am sure baby is fine as well. But wat did ur doc say regarding the glucose. For me I cut down on carbs and switch to fibre rich food immediately like oats without milk,also wash some leaves and drink as well don't know their names again BT is ugwu is part of it.

Nope.... Absolutely not working for me, she hardly sleeps... And when she does she doesn't sleep deep, she wakes up to cry at any slight movement or when you put her in bed...
Thank God for my mum.. Baby sleeps with her at night (I express for them) while I stay with her during the day when she's at work.

Good for u mama,my mum will say come and breastfeed her like she's not full already. The baby just dey wake up at any slight sound. BT once she sucks,hmmm no more crying

It worked for me during my first baby. Just make sure your little one is bathed in the morning and prepared for the day. Once you do so, do same to yourself too then put to breast. Your mind is already tired so once your LO sleeps, don't move from the bed. Either lay him/her down a distance from yourself or in the cot, lay there on the bed, tell people to avoid trooping in and out of the room, switch off your phone if you have to. Sleep must come cos your body is already tired. People around you also have to assist make it happen.

Av tried that oo,like she smells her food factory on me I don't know how she figures out am on the bed close to her baby cot

The saying "sleep when baby sleeps" pls is it working for anyone. Cos whenever I try to lay down on the bed my baby will just wake up and start fussing about.I have kukuma resign myself to till when she will outgrown this stage.

Yes u can I think its called silent labour. I was dilating without pain just my normal contraction's like braxton hick,it was when dey used that hot drip stuff I started feeling painful contractions. I was sleeping on and off while dilating I mostly felt like this till I reached 7cm.

Laughing at the bolded.... Maybe she has other engagements .. I arranged for my mum to come over on the exact day my MIL was leaving ooo so I did not even feel it at all.. Since MIL told us when she'll leave, I just told my mum to arrange herself for that day oo...

As in ehn God will bless her mightily for me she stayed with me all thru 3days of labour in the hospital leaving her kids at home. I and hubby plan on surprising her since she sells firewood,we will get a small truck of it for her thru her husband. MIL omugbo ended on the day we were discharged from the hospital,na my neighbor be my small mother. MIL haff enter road to sell her goods no call from her again oo. My own mum dey post post me till I vex for her ,my sis I just tire assuming no be cs I for send them. Everybody is not ready to be of help na to even come hospital help me chop the food pple pile up for table for me cos I cudnt eat much then. Its well sha
