numericalguy:You don't know me to tell me that Besides, am not one of those people who've been brainwashed to think only negative things about others. If that was the case, I'd have generalised all the bad things that few Nigerians do...I'd have said they apply to all Nigerians. Most Nairalanders say negative things about Kenya/Kenyans, that's why I put the bolded |
awakeuche:Wow! That's a great move. After your visit, don't forget to share with Nairalanders what you found out about Kenya. |
vicben27:Not surprised with this comment. This is the mindset that drug traffickers, 419 scammers/yahooyahoo come with..they only think of making quick money and spending it on women |
lereinter:Ask Nigerians that live in Kenya whether that is true or not. Better still, visit Kenya and see for yourself. www.helb.co.ke can quickly show you what I said about university education The thing is when people have been brainwashed to believe wrong things about others, it becomes hard to change that mindset. In addition, many people think that all Africans live in poverty and suffer |
amdoyin82:Kenya is very developed with good infrastructure and world class hotels. That's why so many world conferences take place in Nairobi. It has very many highly educated people too. |
ahamonyeka: Dat na just horse pic I no put my photo for my profile |
ThunderingHooves: ahamonyeka:Yes |
ahamonyeka:I have no reason to lie. Truth is there are so many opportunities for Kenyans and good things are happening there. For example, there is a youth fund, and a women fund...there is a laid down structure governing the two. Women and the youth access low interest loans easily. They do business or invest in whatever they want and then return the loan. This has helped a lot of people. Most of the stories you read about Kenya are not even in the mainstream Kenyan media. It's just bloggers or individuals who are hell bent in generating traffic that look for such stories. Life in Kenya is good. |
ahamonyeka:Are you sure the country mentioned is not upto to your feet? Are you aware of the following facts about Kenya? 1. Education -There is free primary education in Kenya -Secondary education fee is subsidised i.e the government pays part of the fee - University students are given loans by the government to pay fees+ accommodation, etc. The loans are repaid when graduates start working. So whether you come from a poor or rich family you can get educated easily...the only difference is that some rich people take their kids to private schools, which are expensive 2. Health -There is free maternal health care i.e women deliver free of charge in public hospitals -Children under 5 are treated free of charge in govt hospitals -Accident victims can be treated in any hospital before they pay even a kobo. So this prevents unnecessary deaths....can you say the same about .. ? It's against the law to turn away a patient in an emergency situation 3. Ever heard of 24/7 electricity supply? Electricity is cheap. People don't use generators. Think of the money spent by Nigerians in buying generators, fuels, etc. What could people be doing with such money? Developing themselves. Think of the noise and smoke from generators...think of the lives lost to generator fumes. Kenyans don't experience these Come to think of it.. if Kenya is as bad as some Nigerian bloggers and Nairalanders want to make you believe, what were the 17 Nigerians doing there? Why didn't they leave when their visas expired? Why couldn't they renew their visas? The area that they were living in is not even a middle class suburb in Nairobi. It's just an ordinary place .... meaning they weren't able to live in places where expatriates and who is who in Nairobi live There are so many positive facts I can write about Kenya, but lemme stop here To all the people with negative opinions about Kenya, Google is your friend |
Interesting thread.. some responses I see myself creating a thread soon... I'll bring a new perspective into the argument between atheists and religious guys |
Chinessco:Hey, thanks for the invitation |

The beauty of being an artist is that you can put anything on your head unlike office workers |
felibrain:Woman! I be your wife Look who is talking morality ![]() Do you think ritual killings that happen in Nigeria are morality? What do the stories of some Nigerian fathers who sleep with their daughters (as we read on NL) tell you about morality? Or is 419 morality? Stop living in a bubble |
felibrain:You are a fool to think that a whole country is useless because of one brainless and attention seeking girl. BTW Do you know that with the current low oil prices, Kenya is doing better economically than Nigeria? Please educate yourself before throwing ignorant and invalid points. |
slap1:You never experience pain before? The pain must have been too much that's why the child was unable to tell the father about his hand getting stuck. |
Op has avoided answering any question(s) directed at him...maybe he has realised his mistake (wanting his wife to wake up at 4 am and stare at his handsome face ) |
Babysho:That's better... You will get help |
The buyer who sent them should also be arrested. |
Chai! NLers una wicked o! Laff wana kill me. I just can't stop laughing. |
Op, with all due respect I think you need to go for counseling. Find a good counselor that can help you build your self esteem...this is based on the kind of threads you create about your looks. |
