I have never heard it presented this way. But based on the argument in this essay, it appears that the Middle East problem and most of all we have to deal with in today's world started when Abraham got himself involved in a love triangle. Could the world have been different if Abraham had made a different choice?

All you Nigerians are insane. Moderation is why you all have not amounted to anything. History does not care whether you were faithful or not. This man should follow his heart.
