I read this piece that reveals some secrets about some of our columnists. I wonder is you favorite columnist fits any of the descriptions used. For example, are they egotistic? Do they have thick skins or are they lily-hearted? Do you feel they write when they have nothing to say? http://apache.saharareporters.com/column/nineteen-things-your-favorite-columnists-will-never-tell-you-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |
This is a good question to ask. Considering the barbaric killings overwhelming America, I wonder the same. is America amongst the civilized nations of the world? http://saharareporters.com/column/america-their-america-civilized-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |
I understand why this writer may want to say some of the stuff he said, but must he drag Jesus into it? http://saharareporters.com/column/jesus-businessman-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo Some people just like to create trouble. |
Some people no dey fear at all. How could this man imagine a war crime trial of the leader who won the war. It is like saying that Winston Churchill should be tried after the 2nd World War. Anyway, read the nonsense. http://saharareporters.com/column/war-crimes-trial-general-yakubu-gowon-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |
Here is yet another review of Chinua Achebe's new memoir - There Was A Country. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/achebe-administers-sacrament-biafra-review-there-was-country-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo So far I have read Chimamanda Adichie's review; Chika Unigwe's review; Nono Saro-Wiwa's review, Obi Nwakanma's review. But I think this one is more colorful. Check it out. "Achebe’s memoir is not just an epitaph for Biafra. It is also a warning to Nigeria. If Nigeria fails to find its purpose and achieve it for all of its people, a new generation of writers may have the misfortune of writing a similar epitaph for Nigeria – There Was A Country Called Nigeria. And for Biafran babies and their upcoming generations, the idea that there was a country carries a subtle message that what was could still reincarnate." |
I must acknowledge that this is funny - the unedited version of our president's speech at the UN... plus the Top Ten Ways to know if a minister is stupid. Keep the good work, man. Just stay away from religion and you will be good. That is my two kobo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_7G8jjfwtc |
And so I am. And so is every man. |
According to this article it appears that Prophet Muhammad's picture is on display at the French Museum, Louvre. Isn't that a crime? http://saharareporters.com/column/return-satanic-verses-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |
There are a whole lot of crazy stuff in this episode of Dr. Damages. I think this character is going to dangerous territories and I am not laughing any more. When Sanusi Met Oyedepo is ok, but playing with President Obama and Jesus is not funny at all. I have to say my own. I don't want to go to hell. Watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yvivQOmAr0 A new study that says Jesus had a wife makes Dr. Damages to wonder if a nagging wife was the reason why Jesus went up to the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights. The good doctor dismisses the study but his attempt to go on the street to protest failed because he could not find any American embassy in America. He tries to burn some flags but is frustrated by no other person but Jesus himself. Dr. Damages presents a video from a hidden camera that shows what happened when Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor Lamido Sanusi took his campaign in support of the N5000 note to Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winner’s Chapel. In his weekly update on the US presidential election, Dr. Damages reveals the desperate moves Mitt Romney is making to save his crumbling presidential campaign. He also shows crazy things that President Obama is doing as his lead in the polls gets into his head. From his Drdamages@gmail.com email bag, he takes your questions on Patience Jonathan and 2Face and what it means to be a successful Talk Show host. |
Dr. Damages explains the real reason behind the feud between the Central Bank Governor Mr. Lamido Sanusi and former President Olusegun Obasanjo that now makes Sanusi say WFT whenever OBJ is mentioned. Find out what Nigeria is doing to catch up with other African nations in the lucrative new business of making half Chinese half black kids. Dr. Damages gives away the secret of getting the Nigerian government to come to your backyard to explore for oil. It involves hosting a gala night where a table costs N300 million naira. In searching for an answer to why President Obama invited Bola Tinubu to Democratic Party convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, Damages reveals the content of Tinubu's FBI files. Damages also updates you on the prophets and messiahs running around in search of votes in the U.S. presidential election. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0zTJYHKdQ0 |
Ok, I know this is parody, but man. It made a lot of sense. You can never know with our people. Don’t tell me this is what Reuben is thinking about? Is this is what it is all about? “Why did Nigeria's First Lady Patience Jonathan fall ill the same week that the Petroleum minister, Mrs. Dieziani Allison Madueke? Is it food poisoning or just too much cassava bread? You won't believe what mischievous Nigerians are insinuating. Trust Dr. Damages to let you onto it. To explore that topic more, Dr. Damages interviews the spokesman of the president, Dr. Reuben Abati on the health of the First Lady and other sundry matters. It is candid Abati raining curses at his enemies and talking about his next stop - the governor's mansion in Abeokuta.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9W4xDNukBk |
You must have heard that introducing N5000 notes will prevent the dollarization of the Nigerian economy, reduce the cost of producing cash and help Nigerians to carry about less cash. But I bet you have not heard of these other reasons as advanced by our good old doctor. He also explains why President Jonathan needs some love and less criticism with a suggestion of where he could find it. Watch! Dr. Damages Show - episode 55, featuring the top ten reasons why Lamido Sanusi wants to introduce N5000 note. And why the good doctor thinks President Jonathan needs some love- from Jamaica, maybe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km75kS4C6tc |

No be you own your grandma, Seun. |

I read this interesting piece suggesting that all critics suffer from Joshua complex. It defined it this way:" He is suffering from the disease of every critic - double Joshua complex – the desire to see the sun and the moon stand still until Nigeria is transformed and the desire to march around the wall of Aso Rock blowing trumpets until it falls." I read the Joshua complex to mean critics' refusal to accept that change does not happen overnight and their willingness to keep making noise until the thing that connects us falls. I may be wrong. What's your take? For more read: http://saharareporters.com/column/jonathan-fear-reuben-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |

n this 52 episode, Dr. Damages reveals something that happened in Jamaica during President Goodluck Jonathan's visit that was supposed to stay in Jamaica. He also explains why African juju did not work at the London's Olympic games. Ever wondered what was Senator David Mark's revenge for the flak he received for wanting to censor social media? He shows it to you in this episode. In the American election update, Dr. Damages fills you in on President Obama's chances against Mitt Romney. And what a chance Obama has as he begs Dr. Damages for $3.00. You won't believe what Dr. Damages did. He gave Obama 3 Kenyan shillings. You need to watch to see why. Of course, you will be posted on why Hip Hop star, Tuface is adding to his immaculate collection of children while Dick Cheney is out again with loaded guns. What can go wrong? His regulars, Patience Jonathan and Charlie Boy all made their appearances. Dr. Damages is a weekly satirical online television show that airs each Saturday on SaharaTV. The show takes a satirical look at recent stories in politics and pop culture in Nigeria and around Africa. If I am reading this column correctly, this writer is proposing that Boko Haram should give the book "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" to President Goodluck Jonathan. But will he read? Read. http://saharareporters.com/column/conversion-president-jonathan-needs |
I have always wonder why the house wants to impeach Jonathan. This crazy guy gives us the Top Ten Reasons Why the House of Representatives wants to Impeach Pres.Jonathan. And more. Like what will happen if President Jonathan tries to kiss Patience in public. Crazy stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE9m1GJpYSk |
Does the discovery of God Particle last week mean the end of god as we know it? With Boko Haram attacking people in Nigeria and the Christians preparing to revenge, is the end of God near? Check this out. On my way to church, it suddenly became clear - the end of God is near. Two hundred thousand years ago, there was none of us modern human on earth. But what happened last week will be remembered some 200,000 years from now. Scientists working at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland, discovered Higgs boson, aka God particle. If it did not make front page in a newspaper where you live, it is because your society is yet to get to the point where empirical proof is more important than superstition. http://saharareporters.com/column/end-god-near-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo |
It appears this guy is saying that the Igbo are finished with the coming of the super stores to Nigeria. http://saharareporters.com/column/end-igbo-business-model-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo Have your say. |
Hey, I didn't know that Nigeria has state secrets. What is buried under Aso Rocks? What is the private email account of the First Lady Patience Jonathan? Interesting takes, I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJaSA9i-wqU Your take. |
I just watched Dr. Damages Show - episode 44. It features President Jonathan performing stand up comedy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fh4vhEFhx4 I don't know if he is all that funny. But you make the call yourself. |
I don't know about you but I believe in prayers as a solution to everything. This guy is making me reconsider. http://saharareporters.com/column/dana-plane-crash-limits-prayers-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo Is my faith not strong? I don't know. |
I just read this claim by this columnist that a Nigerian named Thomas Chinedu provided male prostitutes for a friend of Pope Benedict. Is that true? Can anyone confirm this for me? http://saharareporters.com/column/secret-papers-pope-goodluck-jonathan-xvi-rudolf-ogoo-okonkwo Thanks. |
