Curvy Gambian-Ghana based actress, Princess Shyngle says that celebrities who are above 30 and still single are actually unhappy.

Gambian-Ghana based actress, Princess Shyngle has taken a swipe on her fellow female celebrities.

The curvy film star says that celebrities who are above 30 and still single are busy attending weddings every weekend like they don’t feel bad, when they are actually unhappy.

The actress was reacting to the wedding of rapper Sarkodie and his partner of more 10-years Tracy, when she made the comment.

According to her, all the male celebrities are more interested in getting married to calm, chill, decent and well-mannered no Instagram or social media girls, instead of female celebrities who are always all over the internet.

Sharing a collage photo of the marriages of four male Ghanaian celebrities, she wrote:

''The most gorgeous couples seeing the images of Sarks wedding online just got me thinking like seriously all the male celebrities are getting married to calm, chill, decent and well-mannered no instagram or social media girls but all the female celebs above 30 almost 40 are all still single and busy attending weddings every weekend like don’t they feel bad no shade though abeg dear future hubby start coming now before I turn 28 abeg congratulations Sark and Tracy'.

Senator Dino Melaye’s constituency projects meant for commissioning today, have been set ablaze by persons suspected to be arsonists. .

The projects include Government Girls Secondary School, Sarkin-Noma, in Lokoja; and LGEA Primary School, Lokogoma, also in Lokoja, Kogi State. While the project at Sarkin-Noma was burnt, that of LGEA had its louvers broken. .

Both projects were part of the projects located across the seven local governments in the state and had been slated for inauguration today.

Senator Melaye was said to be on his way to the inauguration when the news was broken to him and he was said to have been disappointed. He was also quoted to have vowed to still go ahead with the inauguration.

Students said they got to school on Wednesday morning to discover that the newly built block has been set on fire overnight.

Some suspected thugs had, on Tuesday, warned Melaye against visiting Kogi State, warning that he was not welcome for any reason. The thugs, in an unsigned statement on Tuesday, had said that since Dino had no respect for “our elders, you deserve no respect.”

President Rodrigo Duterte has sparked controversy in the predominantly Catholic country for calling God “stupid,” but his spokesman has defended the contentious statement as his personal belief.

Duterte made the statement on Friday evening during a speech in his southern home city of Davao, where he questioned God’s logic in the Biblical creation story of Adam and Eve.

“Adam ate (the fruit of knowledge), then malice was born. Who is this stupid God?” he said. “That son of a b***h is stupid if that’s the case. You created something perfect and then you think of an event that would tempt and destroy the quality of your work”.

Duterte also questioned the rationale of original sin, noting, “That was your mother and father’s deed — you weren’t born yet, but now you have original sin. What kind of religion is that? I can’t accept it”.

Amid criticisms over Duterte’s statements, presidential spokesman Harry Roque urged the public to accept that the leader tends to use strong language when he expresses his beliefs.

“That is the personal belief of the president,” Mr Roque said. “We are free to believe in religion and we are also free not to believe in religion. The President has his personal spiritual beliefs.

We cannot fault the president if he has no sense of hypocrisy and we should accept that because even when he was just a candidate, he never hid that from us”.

Duterte has in the past lambasted the Catholic Church in the Philippines, where more than 80 per cent of the population practices the religion, calling priests out for allegations of corruption and sexual abuse.

Last night, the awful news of Dbanj son’s death broke and it caused a division online.

Many have consoled and sent in condolence messages to the Oyebanjos.

However, some insensitive Nigerians have chosen to blame the parents for the boy’s death after he reportedly drowned in the pool in their Ikoyi residence.

A Nigerian woman and Facebook user, has penned this thoughtful piece in defence of Dbanj and his wife, Didi Kilgrow.

Your mind must be really twisted if you blame Dbanj’s wife over their son’s death.

That your own children or those in your custody are alive is not your making.

In 2016 while Fanu was in phototherapy, a woman rushed in with her son. She was breastfeeding him, he started coughing and suddenly stopped breathing. Sounds trivial, but the boy was dead already. Nothing could be done to bring him back.

Do you know how many children swallow breast milk wrong?
Do they all die?

Have you heard of SIDS?
Do you know a very healthy baby the night before could be found dead in the morning?

I know of a woman in 2005 in Mopa, Kogi State who slept on her child and killed her.
In error.
Only those who knew how she had suffered over said child did not call her a witch.

Someone even said when they will not stop leaving children with childminders. How’s that a sin?

My children are off to creche from their 3rd month of life and nothing will happen to them.
My own creche takes newborn.
Nothing will happen to them.
Some mothers die at child birth and leave the child behind. Do these children not live?

My heart goes out to the Oyebanjis.
