Habyz:It is violent against both Muslims and non-Muslims because it is a religion against the human race (irrespective of religion or tribe) whose aim is to kill, to steal, and to destroy |
iamgenius:It's now very obvious that Islam supports slavery... I pray that the Prince of Peace will show you the truth and the truth will set you free |
menxer:I just proved to you that Yahweh is the God of Israel and Allah is the God of Mohammed, the prophet of Islam which is hostile to Israel. This means that Yahweh is different from Allah. Now, tell me your argument |
. |
NPComplete:I presume you're an atheist. Many of you guys take delight in criticizing Christianity and 'defending' Islam which is not a surprise to me. In this journey of life, you can choose to believe or not believe in anything but in the long run, you'll realize you can never be neutral - you're either in the camp of the free woman or that of the bond woman - the choice is yours! |
Habyz:OLAADEGBU already answered you. Islam is a violent religion against non-muslims and also against itself. The sole aim/agenda of Islam is to kill, to steal, and to destroy. My prayer for you is to know the truth and the truth to set you free |
onyenze123:I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way Eph 1:18-23 |
menxer:If both Yahweh and Allah are both tribal Gods, what tribe is that of Yahweh and what is that of Allah? Are the tribes the same? Since the tribes are not the same, then Yahweh is not the same person as Allah! |
godfromGod:You're the Amalech in this instance... Go to Islamic countries to practice your atheism and get the 'Amalech' treatment |
menxer:The 'promised land' is the present Israel right? Yahweh is the God of Israel (God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). Allah is the God of the Quran (God of Mohammed) who is still at war with the people of Yahweh Allah can never be the same person as Yahweh |
godfromGod:Its funny that the same book inspires death sentence for atheists in Muslim countries |
menxer:Guy, address each of the points! The fact still remains that Yahweh is not the same as Allah - they are enemies based on Allah's Jihad and "what happened to the inhabitants of the promised land" as you said |
menxer:Now you've fully displayed your ignorance! Next time you want to take garri, just switch to sand with groundnut One more time, I am not doing any comparison! You are the one equating Yahweh with Allah. Since you boldly asserted that Allah and Yahweh are the same, kindly address the following 5 points 1. Yahweh’s only begotten Son is Jesus Christ. Allah has no begotten son 2. Yahweh’s Christ paid for the sins of mankind and man has salvation by grace. Allah paid for nothing, and all men pay for their own sins through sufficient work 3. There is no marriage in Yahweh’s Paradise. Faithful men and those who die in the cause of Jihad get many virgins (houri) in Allah’s aljana 4. Yahweh’s book is very different from Allah’s book. They contradict each other, so they cannot both be true. For example, the Bible says Christ was resurrected from the dead. The Moslems reject that as a lie based on the Quran. 5. Allah commanded his followers to kill and drive out the followers of Yahweh Point 5 especially, showed that Allah and Yahweh are not on the same camp. One must be an enemy of the other Those who have ear will hear Get wisdom! |
menxer:If you really understand my post, you will discover that it addressed the age-long deception and lies equating Jesus Christ with Jesus (Isa) of the Quran. The only way you can prove that garri is the same as sand is by comparing their features, characteristics and benefit; if the features/characteristics differs, then it will be a great deception to insinuate that garri is the same as sand. The only way to prove that Jesus Christ of the Bible is the same as Jesus (Isa) of the Quran is to compare their characteristics/features and benefits; likewise, the only way to prove that God -Yahweh is the same as God - Allah is to compare their values and expectations from men. What my post simply did was to present facts correcting the age-long deception. If you have a contrary view on similarities/differences between Jesus Christ of the Bible and Jesus (Isa) of the Quran, then lets hear! |
menxer:Use straightforward expression next time! My post is very clear on the fact that the Jesus Christ of the Bible is different from the Jesus in the Quran when you compare and contrast their values, mission, and historical facts. The post is not about who is right or who is wrong; it is about the fact that Christianity is different from Islam - they do not worship the same God. The values of the Christian God - Yahweh is different from the values of the Muslim God - Allah |
Muslims brings us deceptive and disingenuous view of Jesus being same with Isa and "we all worship the same God" chant on a regular basis, and there is rarely any pushback. The only common ground the Quran has with The Bible on Jesus is just the virgin birth. The biggest issue that separates the two faiths is by far the most important one — was Jesus God, as he claimed? Christians believe Jesus was simultaneously both the Son of God and the Son of Man, fully divine and fully human. He left no room for doubt about it on numerous occasions, as when, according to John 8:58, he told the Pharisees “before Abraham was, I am.” That claim, when uttered by any man, was considered blasphemous and deserving of death by the Pharisees. Pilate, Caesar’s man in the Jewish homeland, found nothing under Roman law to justify executing Jesus but, as a matter of political expediency, he ordered the crucifixion. Three days later, the tomb of Jesus was empty and soon thereafter Jerusalem was in an absolute uproar because, according to the Bible (see Acts 2:14-39), the disciples were telling any one who would listen that they had seen and talked to the resurrected Jesus, who would someday return to judge every person who ever lived. That’s NOT the Jesus of the Koran, which says at 5:17: “They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary.” In case there might be any doubt on the point, the Koran adds this at 9:30: “Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!” Being cursed is the worst fate possible for a Muslim. Similarly, as Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer notes, the Koran utterly rejects the Christian claim that Jesus died on the cross, saying at 4:157: “And because of their saying: We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they did not kill him or crucify him, but it appeared so to them; and those who disagree concerning it are in doubt about it; they have no knowledge of it except pursuit of a conjecture; they did not kill him for certain.” In other words, the Koran argues that Jesus survived crucifixion. To grasp how completely disconnected that view is from the horrendous reality of such a death, spend a few minutes with this description from National Geographic, which nobody would accuse of being a Christian propaganda tool, of how crucifixion killed. Jesus personally talked about how he will die in Mathew 16:21-22 “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life." And they all came to pass and recorded by both Christian and non-Christian historians. The Prophet of Islam, Mohammed born about 600 years after Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection attempted to rewrite history and have succeeded in deceiving generations of people. The Jesus Christ of the Bible is not the same as the Jesus (Prophet Isa) of the Quran Christians do not worship the same God as Muslims Below are the major differences between Christianity and Islam 1. God’s only begotten Son is Jesus Christ. Allah has no begotten son 2. God made salvation available by sacrificing His Son and promises salvation by grace to those who believe. Allah sacrificed nothing, and only saves if sufficient works are done. 3. God (Yahweh) has a payment for sins—Jesus Christ. Allah has no payment for sins. 4. God’s Christ paid for the sins of mankind. Allah paid for nothing, and all men pay for their own sins. 5. God’s salvation is through Christ’s work. Allah’s salvation is through people’s works. 6. God’s saving work is, “Come to Christ.” The major part of Moslem salvation is to believe Mohammed was the sum and seal of the prophets. 7. God’s book is very different from Allah’s book. They contradict each other, so they cannot both be true. For example, the Bible says Christ was resurrected from the dead. The Moslems reject that as a lie. 8. God says his Son is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Allah says Christ is “only a messenger” (Chap. 5, “The Food” sect. 10, par. 75). 9. God treats men and women equally. Allah does not. 10. God says marriages today (Christian) are to be monogamous. Allah allows more than one wife. 11. There is no marriage in God’s Paradise. Faithful men and those who die in the cause of Jihad get many virgins (houri) in Allah’s aljana. WORDWORLD:Its now more than 6 weeks Mr Scam Defender! Can you now defend the halal scam? |
respect80:lol Islamic central defenders always run into hiding whenever being presented with truths Other options used are insults, threat, and violence |
iamgenius:Research about Islam? Lol... I know a lot already; especially the notion behind your post... technically not answering the question in the original post but pretending to answer it by saying "One of the expiations of that sin is to Free A Slave" Making it simple, here are the questions: Did the Islamic Prophet Mohammed bought slaves? Did he owned slaves? Did he take female infidel captives as slaves? Is the highest present day slavery practicing country an Islamic country? Has any Muslim group protested against slavery in the Islamic country? |
You might think of slavery as a practice of the past, an image from Roman colonies or 18th-century American plantations, but the practice of enslaving human beings as property still exists. There are 29.8 million people living as slaves right now, according to a comprehensive new report issued by the Australia-based Walk Free Foundation. The country where you are most likely to be enslaved is Mauritania. Although this vast West African nation has tried three times to outlaw slavery within its borders, it remains so common that it is nearly normal. The report estimates that four percent of Mauritania is enslaved – one out of every 25 people. Mauritania is an Islamic country! It is officially called Islamic Republic of Mauritania and the official language is Arabic. Is slavery sanctioned by Mohammed, the Islamic Prophet? Yes... Islamic Prophet Mohammed owned slaves. The Qur’an has Allah telling Muhammad that he has given him girls as sex slaves: “Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty.” (Qur’an 33:50) Muhammad bought slaves: “Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledged allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man).” (Muslim 3901) Muhammad took female Infidel captives as slaves: “Narrated Anas: The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, ‘Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned.’ Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives. She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet. The Prophet made her manumission as her ‘Mahr.’” (Bukhari 5.59.512) Mahr is bride price: Muhammad freed her and married her. But he didn’t do this to all his slaves: Muhammad owned slaves: “Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah’s Apostle was on a journey and he had a black slave called Anjasha, and he was driving the camels (very fast, and there were women riding on those camels). Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you), O Anjasha! Drive slowly (the camels) with the glass vessels (women)!’” (Bukhari 8.73.182) There is no mention of Muhammad’s freeing Anjasha. Where is the international outcry? In the U.S., the Left is enraged over 100-year-old statues of slaveowners, but what about the real live slaves suffering today in Mauritania? Would caring about them be “Islamophobic”? We constantly hear that Islam forbids slavery, but reality is otherwise. Authorities in Egypt have reportedly closed down a 1,300-member church in the Minya governorate and are preventing Christians from worshiping at another church in the area, according to a report. Morningstar News, a donor-funded news agency that reports on persecuted Christians worldwide, reported that the Virgin Mary and St. Paula Church in Kedwan village was shut down last month by authorities based on the claim that local Muslims objected to the church. According to the outlet, the church served Christians from three different villages — Kedwan al-Baharyia, Kedwan al-Keblyia, Masaken Kedwan. Coptic Orthodox Bishop of Minya Anba Makarios pressured government officials for weeks to re-open the church. But as the bishop's pressure on the government provided no result, Makarios issued a public statement refuting the government's claim that local Muslims opposed the church. "The security apparatus has prevented Copts from practicing their rites in Kedwan, Minya, claiming that it was because of objections of some opposing factions in the village, and that it was necessary to be considerate of their feelings," Makarios was quoted as saying. "However, this means that there is no consideration for the feelings of the Copts and those who do not ask for anything but to pray, as if the decision belonged to the opposing factions and not to a great state such as Egypt, which should have authority and law." Makarios stated that the majority of Muslims and Coptic Christians in the area co-exist peacefully and that the only opposition to the church came from a small extremist faction. "There is actually no disagreements or disputes between the Copts and Muslims," the bishop stated. "He among them who opposes [opening the church], if any is found, gives the excuse of the necessity to obtain a security clearance. Regardless of whether these may be right in their opposition or not, the authorities instead of responding by pointing out that this is the prerogative of the state institutions, or by stating that allowing prayer is a legal right, affirm prevention of prayer! In doing so, they underscore at the same time that the opposing factions are right in their reasoning." Morningstar News noted that the Virgin Mary and St. Paula Church in Kedwan is just one of at least 15 Christian places of worship that has faced closure in Minya. "We have more than 15 places [of worship] closed on the order of the security apparatus, despite the existence of formal requests that are imprisoned in [desk] drawers," Makarios said in his statement. "Also, there are 70 villages, farmsteads and hamlets without places for prayers." In addition to the closure of the worship centers, security officials this past Sunday prevented Christians from worshiping in a private house church in Minya's Ezbat Al-Forn village. A local resident told Morning Star News that authorities claimed that the congregation lacked a permit to allow them to worship in the home. However, Makarios reportedly refuted the claim that a permit is needed. The blockading of the church caused Coptic residents of Ezbat Al-Forn Village to write a letter to Egypt's president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, titled "We were prevented from prayer like criminals." "We were surprised to find police forces surrounding and entering the village to prevent the Egyptian Copts from prayer and were prevented from going out of our homes," the letter explains, according to Morning Star News. "We were attacked with inappropriate words ... As if we are criminals or outlaws and wanted for justice, accused of performing religious rituals. And is performing religious rituals a crime?" Egypt currently ranks as the 21st worst nation in the world when it comes to the persecution of Christians, according to Open Doors USA's 2017 World Watch List. Earlier this summer, it was reported that authorities in Egypt's Beni Suef governorate raided a church in the village of Saft Al-Kharsa, removed all Christian iconography from the building and chained down the doors to prevent Christians in that area from worshiping there. https://www.jihadwatch.org/2017/08/egyptian-authorities-close-1300-member-church-because-it-was-upsetting-to-muslims |

A draft bill presented to the Tunisian parliament that would give women and men equality with regard to inheritance laws and allow Muslim Tunisian women to marry non-Muslim men has drawn anger from conservative circles in the country and the wider Arab world. The fact that Tunisian president Beji Caid Essebsi supports the bill has only increased the anger of its opponents. While sharia law allows Muslims to marry non-Muslim women who convert to Islam, the law forbids a Muslim woman from marrying a non-Muslim man unless he converts to Islam. Sharia law also states that two-thirds of an inheritance can go to men while just one third remains for women. The bill has been covered extensively by social media users in the Arab world, with most discussing the inheritance law rather than the parts of the bill that would allow Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men, most likely due to the assumption that the number of such cases will be low in the face of familial and societal opposition. One social media user from Saudi Arabia known as Handala wrote, “Islam has divided justice between a man and a woman and now the fools come and demand equality between the two sexes.” عَدَلَ الإسْلام بينَ الرَّجُل والمرأة، ثُمَّ جاءَ الرُّعاع يطْلبون المساواة بَيْنهمَا. — حنظلة (@CHIVOS3) August 14, 2017 Egyptian journalist Mirna al-Helbawi criticized women who oppose the bill, writing, “The real problem is that most of those in opposition are women and girls. Believing the wrong thing and having the wrong faith according to Islam, somehow is justifiable enough under Islamic Law to be prosecuted and even killed for. That was my crime: believing in something that Iranian authorities and Islam deemed dangerous for their existence. Coming from a family with secretive Christian beliefs, I always loved Christianity, even though I wasn’t always practicing it when I was a child. My father had several paintings of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary, an old Bible from before the Iranian revolution, several books about Christianity, and crosses, statues and several other things. They had direct and indirect influence on my belief system. When I was very young, I used to open the Quran and the Bible and read from them. I always felt a strong connection to Christianity when reading the New Testament, but in contrast, I never felt anything positive when reading the Quran. Chapter and verse, I would encounter things that I could not convince myself were from a merciful God. Schools forcing us to pray and attend religious speeches. I never felt right about them. The often stinky rooms filled with smells of unwashed socks. The loud unpleasant noise of Islamic prayer, hearing chants of death to America and Israel left and right, systematic sexism against women and discrimination against other religious minorities or belief systems, claiming the moral high ground while calling for the annihilation of Israel and America and lots of other things. Never felt right, nor something Divine. I always felt a strong contradiction between the merciful divine God mentioned in Christianity and the “Allah” of Islam. I was extremely lucky to be born into a family that gave me a chance to know Christianity and understand Islam. Not everyone is that lucky. I always felt peace when reading the Bible, even watching TV shows and movies and seeing scenes from the Church yet completely unrelated to the show’s plot, I found peace and comfort just in watching the Christians pray in a church. My brother used to listen to a lot of Rock music. I remember watching Guns N Roses November Rain music video. I didn’t know what the song was about at the time, but when Slash came out of the church in middle of nowhere, I felt a strong connection. He would also listen to a band named ERA. They make music mostly about Christianity and are mainly religious. Listening to them felt very peaceful and was inspiring. As you can tell, my brother and father had great influence on me both mentally and spiritually, since I was a kid. Officially, we were born Muslim, all of my family. Because apostasy is punishable by death in Islam, my father was always scared of us getting arrested. He would never admit to his faith even in private, and he always advised us to be careful about what we spoke to others about our family or even our opinion of Islam. He would tell me stories of pre-revolution Iran and how he worked at places full of Christians and foreigners. He also mentioned one of his close friends who was also a Christian and was executed after the revolution. He always advised me to be careful about my actions because faith in Iran is no joke. And you can easily get arrested for saying the wrong thing about Islam. Years passed and I felt more and more open to Christianity and far more away from Islam. I had my doubts, as every healthy person would, until I came across a turning point. I read about the story of Lourdes in France and how its water spring healed lots of people. I was a little skeptical at first, but after realizing that around 69 of the cases were scientifically proven miracles, along with many witnesses, I knew it was a modern day miracle and I knew at that point that I want to be what I always felt right about: a Christian, a believer in the true God. I was around 18. I was studying in college. The nearest route to home was an alley that had an old church in it. This church was built before the revolution. For several weeks I was passing by and I would look at the building and the cross on top of it. I felt fresh, I would fantasize about going inside in the middle of the night to light a candle and pray, or playing guitar outside it, like Slash did on November Rain. It was just taking a look and feelings until I decided to visit the church and ask a priest about the safety of church-attending people and baptism. I knocked and a middle-aged man answered the door. I asked for a priest and he asked me whether I was born a Muslim and if I want to convert and I said Yes, maybe. He told me to wait in the yard so he could call the priest. But that was the spell of doom. He actually went to call in the intelligence agents. After about 20 to 30 minutes, two plain clothes agents entered the yard and without hesitation pushed me to the ground and cuffed me. They later took me to their car and blindfolded me and told me to stay under and not to come up, otherwise they would smash my head. DUBAI: A Saudi man has divorced his wife for walking ahead of him despite repeated warnings, a media report said today. Saudis are becoming increasingly alarmed over the rate of divorces in the kingdom for trivial reasons as growing calls are emerging to provide married couples, especially newlyweds, with counselling services. The man, who was not identified, gave his wife repeated warnings to keep a step behind him, but she kept walking ahead of him after which, he divorced her, The Gulf News quoted the Saudi daily Al Watan as saying. In another case, a Saudi man divorced his wife after she forgot to put the sheep head -- "the most important part of the dinner" -- on the main dish presented by her husband as he hosted his friends for dinner, the report said. The woman said that after the guests left, her angry husband accused her of embarrassing him by forgetting to present the most important part of the dinner to his guests. In another case, a husband divorced his wife during their honeymoon for wearing foot bangles.
