First, the author said Nigerian government underdeveloped Igboland after civil war. Was Igboland developed before the war? I want to see pictures of the different parts of Nigeria between 1955 and 1965, just 10yrs, lets who was developed and who was not. The most developed region before war was Western region, and that extended to Asaba and Warri and excluded Lagos Island, Ebute Meta and Yaba. From Ilupeju, Ikeja, all the way to Warri and Asaba, and every part Yoruba hinterland beside Kogi and Ilorin were in Western region and they had the best of social programmes and living index....until an Iboman, President Azikiwe took a chunk of Western Nigeria and made it Mid Western Nigeria to spite Awolowo and reduce his voting bloc in the Federal Parliament. After that the Midwest lost their development and progress and have never recovered till date...even though the West never stopped developing and growing. We need pictures of Western, Mid western, Northern and Eastern region to see what Ibo call development pre-66 war. If your land was not developed before war it is deceptive and fraudulent to say it is underdeveloped after the war. |
Qiewz11:Lmao ![]() Ibo enwe eze...Ibo no get King! This author want impose King on Iboland. |
Ibo enterprise on exhibition! |
Am i allowed to comment on this eyimba chimp or not? Whats on my mind is heavy enough to get a 5yr ban. ![]() Eni ta ba ta ka fi owo e ra atupa, to ni ohun omo aji tan na wo! Shioor!! ![]() |
In developed countries emergency crews are unaware of needs. Someone has to call and raise awareness for someone in need. The quicker the call the earlier the victim will be attended to and rescued. In the case of this woman, did anyone in the three days she laid there call emergency services on her behalf? |
Orunto:You are correct and i agrde. I do think this is an emergency aid to help them sustain through Ramadan. |
tonychristopher:So how come he has Yoruba name but no Fulani name? |
tonychristopher:Benin is Yoruba. Edo is not Yoruba. If you want to know how go and review their art and history. |
oluspencer:This Olu is badt guy. ![]() You are a sniper! Chei, see finishing!! ![]() |
ElekeNtioba:An illiterate like you overfed on left over and stale akpu wants to instruct on politics. Unstuck yourself from name and form and focus on the substance. Feudalism and Democracy are as same as Socialism and Communism.....none of which is native to Iboland! Anything new? |
chuna1985:Your greediness is what holds you back from actualizing Biafra. Ojukwu would have had Biafra if he wasn't greedy and attempting to expand Biafra beyond Iboland. Same reason you are held back now, greed! ...your brothers who erroneously went and sunk millions of investments into immovable properties outside Iboland are stuck and can't get those properties out. So the choise is between the property and supporting Biafra, they choose property and say fvk Biafra. Thats your problem....greed! |
pazienza:In reality Ibos want to coexist because Nigeria is a big outlet and produces economic sustenance to their livelihoods, and quality of life. Their disadvantage is political.....they are culturally endowed with a social system that is apathy to the mode of politics and state rulership practiced in Nigeria. Democracy and State Rulership....the existence of a social heirarchy of authority and orderliness comes natural to Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani, who for centuries existed under Obas and Sarkis. So Ibos want Nigeria but the Nigerian politics is too overwhelming for them, and everytime Ibo get power he miuses it and ruin everything because the system is too confusing for his understanding. As i said earlier, Bifra is a cop out...a hideout for Ibos intimidated by the political rivalry. |
Atk1nson:No one is talking about you! Ibo is reaching for Biafra because it serves as escape route, and an easy way out of the hot political rivalry. Nigeria is always and will forever remain in political turmoil. Whether in military or democracy rule, ethnicity is the engine of our co-habitation. The ethnic base is the political base and is local. A Yorubaman will not go to Port Harcourt or Abuja or Kano or Maiduguri to create a political base from which to compete with his rivals. After erecting a solid political base at home, the Yoruba then goes to PHarcourt, Enugu, Yola, Sokoto, Makurdi, looking for augmentation and recognition for what he has built. Ibo on the other hand wants to go and erect his political base in Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Sokoto, Potiskum....and when no one pays him attention then he wants to exist by himself and have nothing to do with others, he wants to run into his hideout - Biafra ! Intertribal marriage is irrelevant to the topic! |
chamboy:How has intertribal marriage to Ibo women made Yorubamen to love and idolize Ojukwu? |
Atk1nson:How has the result of inter tribal marriage between you and Yoruba made you to love and respect Awolowo? |
Maxymilliano:In case you missed it, there will be one media office under the presidency, individuals will have separate roles. The President and the Vice are both termed as the Presidency. The Presidency and the Cabinet are together called the Executive. Get it right, im not pleased using my precious time to teach you basic stuffs. |
This news should be projected into the future presidential electiins. It seems Yoruba, in its turn, will also get help from North. We must hold on to this alliance and grow it. |
ChikezieU:Ibo no get king! It's why you don't know what authority is or how to respect one. Your authority is physical pain! |
ChikezieU:So who is the highest authority in Iboland?? |
ChikezieU:This is the World Igbo Conference...the cremede la creme of Igbo voice and authority globally. |
Dude, What would Ibo be without enemy Nothing!Their value and esteem, individially and collectively, appreciates with noisy and ineffective declarations, ultimatums and call for conflicts. ![]() |
AfricanGod2:There is no point disputing facts with people that have no pride in their own ancestry and land. Yoruba commonwealth is at home in Lagos, in Abeokuta, in Ado, in Akure, Ibadan, Ogbomoso, Osogbo, Ilorin. Where is Ibo commonwealth....in Lagos ![]() |
The moral fiber of this society has withered...it is absurd to say the least. It is not everything seen that must be spoken of....certain things, such as the privacy of a body, whether man or woman is still a sacred topic not to be disrespected in public. After years of stripping women naked in public mocking their nudity....an act never once decried by PDP, our once great society has incrementally been turned into a barbaric harbour for educated hooligans and.touts. Even the President, the commonly accepted highest authority is not immune from the mockery of insane and ignoble minds. What would happen if in the move to shield the President from such crude exposure journalists are instructed to first submit their print pictures for review before press? Would we not shout press censorship? |
meforyou1:Should we call Anambra is not Iboland because Ibos from Aba and Owerri migrated to it, or is Enugu.no longer Iboland because Ibos from other regions migrated and settled there when it was popular for coal mining? Port Harcourt has different ethnicities drawn there by oil industry, should Yorubas in Port Harcourt abandon their origin because of oil? The under development of your land has nothing to do with war or marginalization.....as we now see from facts and data dating to prewar years, Iboland suffers from depletion in human and land resources. 260,000 Ibos migrated to Lagos in a period of twenty years......heck, what was your total population and what percentage of that migrated? Remember, this is just for Lagos, the author did not invlude numbers for Kano....your other central target for refuge. |
Now we see why Iboland was never developed. In twenty years, from 1930 to 51....., 257,000 of them abandoned home for Yorubaland. It was even worse than that after the war and millions of starving Ibos trekked across the land and forest to find refuge in Yorubaland. No more disputing the fact....now we need to ask, what is Ibo running from the East for? |
Refugees...millions of them live in Lagos and speak Ibo. |
Thats a 50yr old I must show this to my fat @$$ 28yr old puff puff, Im giving her 22 years ultimatum. She must look like this at 50 or I want divorce. ![]() |
We told you all....Yoruba is your Commander in Chief in this country. So im glad OP admit SW is bombing CALABAR. |
SOUNDKING:Beside the battle field and war, is there any other dimension of relationship that has meaning in an Ibo man's outlook? ...and much as you all are quick to invite others into battle and war, your record and credibility on war front is awful. ![]() |
What gains do Yorubas derive from the Eastern or Southern part of the country? Nothing!! So where is the benefit for us in forming a Southern Regional bond? Some will say oil. We survived before oil was discovered, Yorubaland has its own oil and besides we are interested in diversifying our economy. Why is the author afraid of Northern politics, rejects Igbo domination, but advocates for Yoruba domination? I cant understand this Etche man abeg. We dont want anyone bonding with us whose sitting monarchy has no dynastic trace to Ile Ife, simple! |

Nothing!
