Please I did my biometrics at Abuja in April and it was through the old portal through which my agent applied for me but till date when I enquired what’s the status from him, he said it’s still processing that’s what it’s showing. He called me this morning and said that if nothing happens by this month that my next month he will cancel the application and apply for me through the new portal. Please I need your advice should it be cancelled or I should still exercise patience cos from what he said that applications through the new portal the processing period is faster. Don’t know how true this is. Thanks.

1. I don't have a salary account as I run my own business, how do I go about using my corporate account for the proof of funds or is it advisable I transfer salary to my personal account for the next 6 months before applying?

2. I and my wife will be visiting, does she need to provide proof of funds too?

3. How long does the process take?

1.Ur corporate account is perfect ,while completing your application please provide documentation as regards to this showing you arevthe owner,i.e your CAC,how many people on your payrol,profit after tax and salary,


2.your wife need not provide her proof of fund,however,if she have upto 3m upward why nor,it will boost your chance

3.You cant predict the Canada IRCC team for application time frame,but lately people are getting feedback under 3-4 MONTH so it depends on them

Please, I have question. I once did my biometrics about 7yrs ago. In my new application, I indicated it and also chose the option to submit new biometrics.
I have booked an appointment for the new biometrics. However, on my portal, it's showing that my biometrics was done a day after I submitted my application. Meaning that the old biometric information is what they used.
Should I still go for the new biometrics appointment?

Hey guys, Good evening all. I got my PPR today. It says my application was approved and that I should send my passport. But someone told me to submit my passport i need a letter of approval. I didn't get any letter of approval in my profile. I only got Original Passport Request letter

That's the PPR letter na,just print it out ,take it along with your passport to the VFS office or UPS office,also look for conset form fill it and also take it along with you,you dont need any approval letter again

Do photocopies of all your document b4 you go or else you will pay more than to photocopy your document

Yes,once dey issue you the new one ,the issuing officer will collect and stamped "cancel without prejudice" on the old passport and return both the old and the new passport back to u, this signify that the old passport was officially cancel by them,then,the use of the new one begins,use rubber band to hold the 2 together and send it for your Visa,no any problem at all

Dont make it difficult for yourself at the POE,since Ontario is indicated,why cant u instead go thru ontario or Toronto at worst,i went thru Ontario,but my own case was from New york to Toronto because i have a valid US visa,Ontario was the destination i fillled on my form,i came thru Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto

Get all your documentation ready
International passport
Bank statement
Employment letter
Nin
Various previous visa on your passport
Landed property
Letter of introduction from your employer
Marriage certificate
Children birth cert
And all other document that can help your applications
Credit or debit to pay

Scan everything and reduce to 2mb and label them

Then proceed to the portal,register with your email and secure this with the gckey,the portal has been shared several time on this platform, write down you log in name.and password somewhere so that u wount forget it

After you complete your form,you will now be uploading your scan document to the various section ,i.e you will see proof of fund upload your bank statement here,NiN,marriage cert,etc ,after everything pay and submit and start praying for God favour

Why not enter first,then cancel immediately after entring,or if in a tight corner that he can cancel,he can enjoy one night at the hotel and cancel the following morning and face where he is going

Is it possible for someone to know if agent truly applied a visa for him,

A friend shared his story with me that last 4 years one agent applied a visitor visa for him, that he went to VSF office but wasn't do biometrics or capturing. I asked him how that possible?

He said he submitted his passport, but what I'm convinced about is that he was issued a teller stated visa and biometrics fees and reference with tracking number.

But he said that he didn't do any biometrics or capturing at that time, after some days his passport was sent back to him in Osun state.

Now my question is that how can we check if his having any information with IRCC or if the agent truly applied a visa for him at that time?

In 2019 Canada as started doing biometrics and capturing right? Even if he go through paper submission right?

Good day friends, please kindly treat as urgent. Through GOD'S favour we had our parent's TRV application approved and fast forwarded to sending of their passports. They were duly instructed on how to go about it using a courier service, DHL (Sango OTA) specifically to VFS Lagos.
Upon tracking, DHL showed delivered on Tuesday 29th August but VFS/VAC are yet to send any mail either of acknowledgement or a mail of the passport transmission to Abuja.
Please is this normal, do we need to be worried? I'd greatly appreciate your feedback or anyone who's had a similar experience please.

Since you use DHL you are on a safe hand,my parent own too 1 week before Vfs acknowledged that UPS has delivered it to them,something UPS delivered same day,the VfS have a lot on their hand to deal with,you will soon receive email to that effect, keep checking ur provided mail and remember to check spam mail too
