Yes, you can be given 10yrs visiting visa, it is called multiple entry which means you don't need to reapply for visa again, but it is the decision of the border officer to give you the time to stay the country, he/she can give you 3months or 2weeks, which means despite a visa of 10yrs you are given 2 weeks or 3 months to stay in the country, and come back again if you feel like it.

Pls ,unlike the US where you can check online for number of months you are permitted to stay is there any online check-in for same for Canada?,i just check my US online and it shows 6month,but Canada no stamp me in,i did self stamp in at the airport

I am not too sure why people are scared of Toronto Pearson Airpot POE?

That Airport is actually the best to come into Canada, you can be rest assured you will not be discriminated against as they have a lot of friendly blacks and Asians CBSA officers unlike the POE in Montreal, BC or even Alberta with white folks.

I personally don’t like Montreal because they speak French and French people are something else.
