Never used Jumia but my experience with Konga was terrible just like some commenters have stated earlier. overall, my online shopping experience in naija has not really been great. (1) When you place orders and receive confirmation that its being processed, don't be surprised when you receive a call/mail few days later that those items were actually out of stock. (2) As a rule, never pay online to these guys. As much as possible ALWAYS choose to pay on delivery after a thorough inspection of the items. (3) My best online shopping experience thus far is with Taafoo. Though they tend to have low quality items which are at times overpriced. Generally, be careful with online shopping in Nigeria. I know they'll eventually get there but for now, brick and mortar is much safer. |

Reference: Good governance? Should I laugh. How many of the combatants on either side remotely knows what you are talking about. 'If you think there is anywhere in the world where people 'fight' to govern well raise your hands and tell me class.'It is well known that what matters most to politicians is their personal interest. However, fulfillment of some these interests at times requires some elements of good governance. For instance, do you think the few seemingly performing governors are doing so because they want to? Rather, they understand its a means to an end. So I hope the clash of interests that caused the present in-fighting within PDP swings the power pendulum elsewhere. This may bring about relatively improved governance. |
Idi Amin: How I wish all Southern states can come together and support GEJ. These Northerners are just fighting him to regain power and some southerners are dancing kukere to that "death song" by the abokis. Shine ur eyes guys, Nigeria never saw any meaningful development under the rulership of northerners yet they want to regain power using our own people as their tool to achieving that goal. Believe me, Amaechi will later be disappointed just like Ekwueme and coThat may be the reason for the current crises, however, I hope the end result creates an opportunity for the emergence of a new party which may likely foster good governance. My hope is for the ordinary Nigerians to be the real winners at the end of the day. So its not really about ethnicity/geopolitics but good governance. |
Good development for the masses. Its an opportunity to experience an alternative party. I sincerely hope their crisis deepens. |

Guys, we urgently need your help. We are deciding between and iPad and 10" Galaxy 2. Because we need the sim version as well, we were not sure whether these tabs need to be unlocked, like phones. It's not easy getting unlocked versions and we are not sure whether the standard versions with SIM will work in Nigeria with a simple sim switch. IPad is an easy switch but not sure of the andriod tabs. Anyone with an experience with buying and using the "locked" andrioid tabs in Nigeria. Need to know ASAP. Thanks. |
