Tunji Balogun started it! Why? I don’t really know, or were they trying to pull a publicity stunt like Bey and Jay? Teebillz and Tiwa has been together for a long time. They were friends, then later Teebillz became her manager, then they became business partners. Tunji who has been married before and who also has a reputation for sticking around rich pretty things couldn’t let go off Tiwa. While Tiwa’s case was also like Teebillz’s. The point is this, they were two amateur love birds. When Tunji started to act the normal way handsome lucky guys act, it later dawn on all Tiwa’s fans that singing might be the only great talent she has after all. It became obvious that she knows nothing about love and home building. Because Tunji might be 89% correct when he claimed that Savage has not cooked for him for the past 3 years! How busy could she be? Another thing Teebillz said that really got Tiwa on her toes was that 2face Dr Sid and Don Jazzy has all had sex with his celebrity wife! So who started it? Who was the original destroyer of this celebrity’s marriage? Who picked up the gun first and who pulled the first trigger? Well I’m not interested in most of those whos above. But, I learned just 9 Entrepreneur lessons from Tiwa Savage and as you already know I can’t wait to share them with you. √1. Seize The Opportunity Her album RED is out! Do you know? So when Tbills called the shot she didn’t slack. She didn’t missed it at all she knew it was time! Lemonade came out we start to feel like Beyonce is gonna get rid of Jay-Z, One thing most of us don’t know is that Lemonade is doing very fine on Tidal, a music streaming service owned by her estranged hubby. So whether or not Tiwa got her own ideas from Bey and Lemonade is not my concern, the fact still remains that she didn’t keep quiet this time like she has always be doing. If she had kept quiet then her album sales and music career might as well keep quiet. If she had kept quite she might have to kiss her endorsement deals bye bye! As an entrepreneur opportunity might be the only miracle you have been praying for. Always seize it! Pulse.ng, who were lucky enough to get hold of the video of Tiwa’s interview, seized the opportunity to do so. And the last time I checked which was on Saturday 30th of April, the interview Video has gotten 500,000 views on YouTube alone. definitely its gonna get to 1 million Youtube views withing days, I’m not talking about the National TV airplay. Entrepreneur should always be on their toes and on the look out. Money in heavy ads is not the only solution. But case like Tiwa’s might be your greatest pay check! √2. Bare it all out! At first I had no interest, I was not a Savage fan, later my attention was captured, then I was shock! At last I was scared. Won’t Teebillz send thugs against Tiwa because she is revealing too much? She even said that she caught him sniffing cocaine! She said they didn’t go to London to shop only for their baby Jamil, they also shopped for Tbills! Because Tunji likes to complain about not having money and this and that, but who is the man in that kind of situation? I was now scared for Tiwa’s life. What might be the reaction of Teebillz? However she bares it all out! Entrepreneur are fond of lying, lying and lying! It doesn’t pay. For us to trust you you have to bare it all out. Leave no stones unturned. √3. Believable Story Was this story fabricated? We don’t know. But it was indeed a believable story, the way it was laid out in the open. The narrator of the story make sure that the story is a very believable one, or she might get into a deep shit. Entrepreneurs should tell believable stories at all time if they want us to to take their service or product serious. Because as the amount of noises in the air increases, we tend to pinpoint the very special noise that has an interesting story, a story that can narrate the offering of the story teller. √4. Cry One thing about tears is that it penetrate deep down into the mind of it victim, As an entrepreneur, don’t always play Hitler or Gaddafi, sometimes cry! When you cry, you soften everything. You become human like the rest of us. √5. Ignore your current product or service Tiwa, of course knew that her album is out and need to make sales. She in turn has got to seize every opportunity to mention “RED” her album to any media. But she didn’t. During this interview about the issues in her failed marriage she never mention of her album at all. But some aggressive entrepreneurs always get this wrong. They always want to sneak in their new products, and ones they do that and they are caught they loss their credibility. No matter what, if you go to google search looking for Tiwa Savage interview you must find a link to a shop that is selling her album, because she didn’t mention the album you will be forced to purchase it. √6. Be at the mercy of your customers Savage came out or clean! She said that at a time she called Teebillz that the baby diapers is about to finish and Teebillz gave her a faint ear. Does that mean that she don’t have the money for baby diapers? The fact is that, she is trying to position herself like an everyday regular girl! One of the essence of her interview is to find pity from the masses who her hubby has almost turned against her. I bet she did find that mercy. Entrepreneurs should always look for ways to be at the mercy of their customers. Because if you give your customers any sign that you are OK without them, that day your business dies! √7. Show them pictures When she was in Jamaica she said she was bleeding and called Tunji to no avail. How do we believe that truly she was bleeding and she wasn’t just forming that. She showed as a picture of blood on the floor Case close! Don’t just say it, as an entrepreneur learn to show your customers pictures. Pictures don’t lie! That saying is so true and timeless! √8. Come out natural When I saw Tiwa at the beginning of the interview I was shock! Why didn’t she put on her regular heavy makeup that makes her look like a Dolly? why is she tying a Deeper Life church member scarf, why is she carrying a mug face? So my attention was captured. Later I discovered that it was something very serious. In communication there is a reasonable reason why body language came out 58% ahead of words and voice tone. Her body language has already let the viewers and her loyal fans know that something is now right. She came out so natural. And laid it all out. √9. At last surprise us! There were no hints that Tiwa will have the guts to come out the way she did. But however she did. What a huge surprise. Entrepreneurs now a days are so predictable that there are no more magic in their offerings. they are just like an open book, that even a 1 year old baby can predict their every moves. What of you, what thing of value can you learn from this Tiwa's case? |
wow long time ago, but been long i slept with anyone sha, hope i wont feel same way again |
This guy, Bamidele Onibalusi is the most important blogger and writer in Nigeria at the moment, simply because he has embarked on a journey to breed new set of brilliant, motivated and successful bloggers and writers in Nigeria. He is doing that through his website “writersinncharge.com” Once in a while I visit his site and feel motivated, he has been featured in A-list blogs like Problogger and Dailyblogtips There is even a motivating article about him on the famous American blog “The Huffington Post” His rapid success in the blogging world led a very respected Magazine in Mexico to feature him in one of their issues. Last night as I was going through some of his numerous life changing articles, I realised that there are so many helpful quotes up coming bloggers and writers will need on their rise to the top. So I took my time and picked the best and the most important ones. See them below. #1- “Instead of looking for new ways to monetize my blog I am always looking for new ways to make it better and bigger” #2- The more I write the less my articles are rejected. #3- It is very easy for you to lack the motivation to continue if you keep writing without reading. #4- Writing list posts is very easy, all I needed to do is get the title, research it using Google, get the points and express my views. #5- It is true I have written over 270 guest posts this year but 99.9% of those guest posts were submitted to small blogs that sent me little to no traffic, #6- If I had focused the time I focused on writing those posts on writing 30 great posts for big blogs I will be more successful than I am now. #7- It would have been best had I focused on writing for big blogs. get the remaining quotes here |
Morning sir!” the first security guard at the main gate salute me, I smiled inside, as I make another walk towards the security door that will finally lead me into the bank, another security guard beside the door salute me again. I felt guilty immediately. But I have still gotta shit! I entered the banking hall, brought out my BlackBerry z3 phone and start to pretend as if I was making a very serious call, Meanwhile I was speaking to myself. I watched, no one was looking my direction, so I sluggishly walked into the toilet and let out the mighty scary shit that got me into the bank in the first place. I don’t have an account with fidelity, and neither did my boss or anyone sent me to make any money transaction in the bank, My sole purpose was to go there and shit. Or use their toilet. That day was not the first day. I have used their rest room on several occasions, and each time I entered that bank and the security guards greeted me like a boss that I was not by then, I felt guilty. But it’s ain’t my fault, blame it on my disturbing shit, or blame it on the landlord who refused to fix the toilet of the plaza I was working then. Or rather, blame it on my ijebu boss who refused to do something about the ugly state of our own toilet. Either way, it’s still not my fault at all. But my shit still makes me feel guilty. But by now you know whose fault is it. Sometimes in life you’ve got to feel guilty of your actions. You cheated on her, you hit him because you are stronger than him, you deceived the client because he is a novice, you refused to give him money because you feel like he didn’t worth it. But one thing is certain, there is a reason for your actions if you look deep down into the cause of things you will find the main thing that made you to do what you did. In other words, that thing is the one that is guilty, not you. Yes, you cheated on her because your sexual urge is mightier than hers, so who do you blame for this, who is guilty you or your maker? You hit him because you are stronger than him, you are stronger because your trainer made you so, so each time you hit someone badly know that your trainer is the one that should be guilty of such actions. Don’t sit down there and start to feel guilty of something that someone else should be feeling guilty of. That is not your burden to carry. If you are a leader it even worst, because the burdens will so weigh you down that you will forget what is at stake at the moment. A lot of times they said leaders should take blame for the mistake of everyone and everything under their care. They even popularize a phrase for that; “The bulk stops here” But I tell you, if you do that you will just die a pathetic death. Do this instead. Look for whose fault is it and try to eliminate the cause of the fault or try to change the cause. Don’t take the blame or feel guilty. However, i'm sorry Fidelity Bank! read more of my confusing thoughts here>>>> http://www.lakotaiwilliamchi.com/motivational/ |

I have been following Linda Ikeji’s blog since 2010 that’s 6 years after she started blogging, That makes me qualified to list the 26 Secrets of Linda ikeji success… I hope this will be of good use to you regardless of the field that you are in. it doesn’t matter if you are a blogger or not I bet there must be a secret that will help you in your endeavour to the top. 1. Determined: Linda Ikeji told toolz in a previous interview that she didn’t start making money from her blog until 2010 that’s 6 years after she has been blogging regularly. Most bloggers give up under 1 or 2 years of blogging when they see no income. But linda was determined and now here she is 2. Focus: Apart from being determined, she was focused. Throughout her blogging career, for the past five years of reading her blog and following her I never heard that Linda was into any ventures. 3. Consistent: She was always consistent on her blog she never deviate to another topic apart from gossip! 4. Punctual: Linda Ikeji can post as early as 4am! The time most of us are drooling on our Mouka foam, Floating freely on a fantasy island. Even me, I hate to wake up when it’s not 6 or 7. 5. Trickish: She is Trickish in the sense that sometimes she intentionally pull the legs of public figures and celebrities knowing fully well that it will drive heavy traffic to her blog, example is when she made a post about RMD purchasing a property worth hundreds of millions of Naira. 6. Business-minded: If you think that blogging is a hobby of Linda Ikeji then google the amount she purchased her new home in banana island, a place that most of our celebrities can never get a home in throughout their music or acting career. Or if you still strongly believe that she blogs for fun, then send her mail to remove those google ads that’s all over her blog. 7. Forgiving Spirit: Long time ago Toke Makinwa a presenter of Cool Fm made a public statement, she said linda ikeji is not a good role model. Of course Linda got the message. Still she is the first to always post the pictures if Toke in a new attire in her blog. Giving Toke free publicity! I love her for that. She will continue to excel. 8. Fearless: After she made that post of RMD purchasing a very mighty property, knowing fully well that RMD is a Senator in his state, and knowing how implicating such post will be on his career. RMD replied with a public warning! Threatening to sue anyone in the guise of blogging trying to vanderlise his name. Linda never back down! She still continue to blog. She never hesitate to drop another jaw-dropping blog post She still make a blog post on RMD during his Birthday. 9. Patient: At a time, Google, where her blog was hosted for years now suspended her blog! It caused a public outcry. But linda never came out in the public crying and begging google to release her blog. She was patient and followed things step by step. Until her blog got back to live. 10. Ignore: She keeps ignoring those jobless broke critics that keeps saying shit about her. 11. Cashflow Management: Now a days bloggers spend a lot on their blog even before they started making a penny from the blog.1. They pay heavily for a domain name 2. They pay hugely for a hosting service 3. They spend mightily for a creative web design and so forth, only to find out that they will have to spend like 5 years blogging before they start recovering their initial capital. This fact is discouraging that’s why 99% of blogs die out under 2 years! But linda was wise she make sure that she has no unnecessary expenses when starting her blog. She used a free blogging tool called blogger powered by the giant himself Google for years. At least, since she has no heavy expenses blogging will never be a burden to her like it is to those new novice bloggers. 12. A Giving Spirit: Every first Monday of the month linda Ikeji gives out hundred of thousands of naira to her blog reader or even though you are a passers by you might be lucky to have you own share of this money. Just be one of the specific commenter that she indicated 13. Family First: Linda ikeji’s success never made her to forget about her family. She has been promoting the likes of Laura Ikeji-a fashion blogger on her prestigious blog. I love her for that too. Laura is pretty too, and has a sense of fashion, but she has a short face. I don’t like girls with short face. 14. Spirit of Change: She told Toolz the figure 8 celebrity that she dropped modeling for blogging because she was getting too old. She was right and made the right choice at the right time. 15. Clear Vision: Linda Ikeji came into the blogging world when most Nigerians bloggers are still arguing whether the internet has come to stay or not. She came in early. She has a clear vision of the future of her blog. That’s why she kept at it. 16. Strict: If you make silly comment on her blog and she finds out I.... continue reading here >>http://www.lakotaiwilliamchi.com/the-exclusive-28-secrets-of-linda-ikejis-success/ |

How come you continue to give these other waitresses rundown or Florence victory? I questioned happiness jokingly. She responded immediately, saying, see let me tell you some thing it’s how you attend to the customers that matters Then she relate a story with me “One day I got to this customer’s table, I asked him what would he want to drink, he said ‘mmmmm…tonic. Before he could finish saying the tonic, I cut him on the way, I said, just look, look, look at that table at the other end, they are doing jack daniel’s. If you now start to drink only tonic, how do you want them to look at you, considering the calibre of person that you are…ok if you don’t want to do spirit because it might be too strong for you now, let me give you your brand…Heineken. At least by the time you have about three heineken bottle on your table, your table will look mature.” After that conviction, she said, the man gave her a warm smile and asked her to bring him an heineken. After that he took three more, making it four heineken, not three, like she recommended. She also said that “it’s not about dragging to be the best waitress, it’s about seeing and reaching your goal. It’s about making sure that the customer doesn’t leaves with your money” Several times her colleague...continue reading here.... http:///1PGICZA |
"Who are these kids? A question mark entertainment executive inquired, as we entered their office at aboyade cole street Victoria island scared but at the same time bold, because me and my music partner--seyfame so much believed in our rap skills that we don't think any rapper in nigeria could stand us. But the approach we were applying then to get our music to our potential fans was totally wrong. We were jumping from one record label to the other, from colossal entertainment to storm records to question mark entertainment. We were just wasting our time. We could have done something more creative, like looking for ways to promote our music ourselves with the help of the hundreds of online tools at our disposal then. But we didn't know at all, because who could have informed us. Who could have shared such a rich information with us? I gave this a deep thought and started to promote my music my self and now I'm feeling like a super star and a made musician, because I know what I'm doing now and I know where my music will take me to in the nearest future They said "to make your dreams come true, you have to first make other people (up coming musicians) dream come true" That's exactly why I wrote this book--"The ultimate 104 ways to promote your music" to make your dreams come true and mine too. ...The indigenous tribes of Liberia supported Samuel Doe because they believed he was the solution to the pain they faced then...the pain of being slaves to their original founders--the Americans.</strong> These set of indigenous Liberians tried to evict pain from their society. They couldn't bare it any more. So they chose Samuel Doe as there front man and Coup was Doe's master plan. As they tried to evict pain, pain evict more lives and joy from them, as they struggle to stop pain, pain struggled harder to stop their economy. At the end about 200,000 of them lost their lives. When the deadly Virus Boko was trending, none give a shit about Ébola, HIV AIDS, or Typhoid. Now Ebola has benched boko and the rest famous viruses for good. But does it mean that Ebola is more better or deadlier than Boko haram? Mind you remember that Boko killed in hundreds on a daily basis.. If you were a constant Punch or Vanguard reader you should know what I mean. These News Papers never failed to let us know which state or locality is being Bombed by boko. On the other hand the highest figure I have heard of Ebola is something around 5-10 on a bad day. But it does it mean that this virus is weak? Or its just evolving? Dear reader, which virus do you prefer? The Boko Virus or The Ebola Virus? |

Let's post any job vacancy in Lagos here. This thread is to help us focus our job search. Especially for those of us living in Lagos Please note that the job doesn't have to Bsce or any higher qualification. The jobs you post her can be any job at all. You will be surprise how many Lagosians and willing to settle down for any kind of job as far as it put money in their pocket and food on their family's table. If you are the job seeker please don't give anyone your borrowed money indiscriminately. Investigate the jobs opening very well before you pay anything. Sometimes when I'm looking for job the 4 agents I paid money to don't give me job! I got job from the CVs I submitted my self at different companies. So if you are in search of a job feel free to use many means. Wish you good luck |

Please if you have any other reasons employees got fired in Lagos, drop it below |
I have worked in more than 45 companies doing all sort of jobs. I have been fired only once. And the reason I was fired is what I want to discuss with you now. As you eat your Salah meat and drink your Salah beer, give this article just 10% of your attention. Because next tomorrow which is on Wednesday you might get your first sack letter. Or if the manager don't respects you he might tell you in the face! "Don't come to work tomorrow" "I'm coming ma!" I replied my boss's wife with a squeezed face who just gave birth to a mongoloid nose and a wide face baby girl. She wanted me to go to VFS (they process visas for Schengen countries) to start the process of a client's France visa. Since the time my real boss (at least so I thought) went to Osun state to practice politics, I have never been happy with his wife who now runs the Travel Agency business. She used to disturbed me a lot! "Come and do this" "come and do that" "why did you send the mail like that' O oo, what is wrong with this chap!" (That's the best way she likes to address me, since she just came back from london, where she and her husband had done a bad deal) I was like "what is wrong with this woman nah" "why is she disturbing me, is she my boss? Nah wa o" One day she called me early in the morning. To quickly run to VFS to collect a clients doc. She wanted me to get there before the client, to show sign of commitment. Her time says 6, mine is saying 5! So I thought that I still have time. I slept again. Only to wake up at 7! When our client need to catch a flight at 9.30. By then there were still heavy traffic in Lekki. So before I could get there the clients has already came there herself! Gbam! my heart skipped as I saw our clients Prado jeep at VFS gate. (I am supposed to be there before the client you know) Gu gu gu GOOD Morning ma. I stammered greeted her while my heart continue to beat like a Lagbaja's drum. I explained to the clients that I am supposed to collect her doc for her and that I was sorry to be late that I was delayed by a crazy traffic. She just nodded her head. So I quickly run to join the queue that now looks like the regular queue at all GTBank branches. (Few minutes later,) No. Sorry, plenty minutes later I collected her docs and gave it to her she still tipped me 1k I was very happy that day. Not knowing that, that will be my last day of working with this Travel Agency. When I got back to the office my boss's wife didn't say anything to me. For 3 hours. Later she called me into her office and said that I am suspended without pay! But if I want my pay that day, it means sack! I went with the second option and went back home that morning thinking about my life. And wondering what went wrong.... I later realise that it was all my fault! I didn't know who I was working for. I thought that I was still working for my boss the husband, instead of the wife. My main boss was the wife not the husband! Even later I learnt that she even have a lion share in the Travel Agency. Wow look at me. Mumu wey I bee. My boss's wife sacked me not because of I was late to VFS, but because she feels like I don't respect her, since she was not the one that employed me. She needed someone she could control and that will respect her Since that day I was never sacked again in any job I had. I now know one of the things that got people sacked everyday in Lagos. A lot of employees don't know who they are working for. So they got fired easily and frequently. "Duck you Smedley' you useless middle. manager" "Christina Smedley is a useless. Piece of s**t." these foul statements was not the actual cause of Rakesh Agrawal, a Paypal.com exec's sack. But the main reason Paypal fired him was because of Christina Smedley, a PayPal's vice-president of global communications. So Rakesh didn't actually know who he was working for. It obvious that if he had said that to other low level employee in Paypal. he wouldn't have been fired but Christina was very useful to Paypal. And indirectly Rakesh reports to Chris. When you always have this one secret in mind, you will never be sacked again for no reason except the firms run out of cash. Even if that becomes the case, if you actually know who you work for, that person will always look for another job for you. Just like the case of Mr Thomas, a Buddah Lounge new manager. When he came to Buddah Lounge he brought along 4 Liquid club staffs. (Liquid was his former place of work that went under renovation) I come to understand that, those 4 staffs Mr Thomas employed in Buddah lounged respected and serve him well while in Liquid. In other words, they were working for him not for the main owner of Liquid. That way they became ultimately employable as far as Mr Thomas is concern. I hope I have said enough. The point is. "Know who you are working for or get fired on a regular basis simple!" Please if you have any other reasons employees got fired in Lagos, drop it below ------------------- To receive EXCLUSIVE motivational message like this in your inbox every Wednesday click here |

babyme1: I lost my dad 3mnths ago. Though he was 82yrs, the pain is still very strong in my heart. During the funeral i cried so much my siblings and relatives got angry with me. One had the gut to tell me that it was shameful and embarassing to cry that way that Papa was old.>>Baby, don't mind your other familiars. They are claiming to be strong mean while they are just struggling with their innermost self to suppress their Emotions. Nothing worthwhile could have been achieved in this world without emotion. if you don't feel it you won't care for it. Baby, I am by your side, we are in this together. But know this one day the Lord shall reunite you and papa again, and your joy will truly overflow like the streams of the valley. |
