lekki1444: Alright so you are a passenger in an aeroplane means that you are powerless in another mans empire or under another mans rulership. ( like for example many southerners are powerless under buharis government ). You saw two children messing the whole place up is representative of powerless people destroying their environment and that represents you looking at how powerless you are and how detrimental the powerlessness is making you be to your ennvironment and so this type of destructive powerless behavior can be you doing 419 or stealing or whatever it is powerless people do. However you are tired of this powerlessness and how it is making you behave and when you stopped all the corruption you were doing it made you further impoverished ( you standing up after irritated and going to back of plane ). The stopover of the plane at ore the place with YELLOW BUILDINGS means this empire, or the person running this empire is falling and is on its last legs ( maybe buhari ? lol ) however the empire has not fully crumbled is why it tookk off again, and you yourself have not finished being powerless is why you hopped on it again. and so basically a ruler who is ruling the country you reside in is on his last legs and you remain powerless under this regime.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has mocked the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for its “initial politicized and badly handled palliative measures”.
He identified six areas Nigeria must give attention in order to recover from the COVID-19.
He gave the suggestions on Friday at the 2020 Sobo Sowemimo Annual Lecture held at Abeokuta Club, Ogun State.
Obasanjo told the government to urgently start the process of getting the economy back on track.
His speech was entitled “COVID-19 and Nigeria Security Issues: They Way Forward”.
“The first is food availability and security.
Second is employment and job security.
Third is change in the pattern and style of living including travelling.
Fourth is innovation, science, technology, digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
Fifth is local content, raw materials and substitutes.
Sixth is diversification of the economy and enhancement of export commodities.”
He said with good leadership, right policy, public and private sectors working together, and the civil society joining hand, all the six areas can achieved.
“I hope that Africa, as a continent, will emerge economically stronger from COVID-19. For us in Nigeria, we have no alternative but to get it right. Otherwise, the future will be worse than the present that is uncertain and bleak with economic downturn and pervasive insecurity.”
Obasanjo, however, commended the efforts of the federal and governments in tackling the pandemic.
“Although, restriction is being lifted, we are not out of the woods yet. Awareness-raising must continue and we must disabuse the minds of the ordinary people who are being made to believe that COVID-19 is not real or that it is the disease of the rich. They must be conscious of the fact that the disease has no social or economic limitation or barrier.
“We must not let down our guard because we may not have reached the peak yet. If the epicenter has moved from China in Asia to Europe to North America and now to Brazil in South America, Africa may or may not escape being an epicenter. And even then, we must be prepared for the possibility of a second wave.
“The UK’s claim of inventing a cure drug, dexamethasone, has not been disputed.
In fact, it has been recommended by WHO for treatment in acute cases and we should be equipped with such drug. It is also hoped that a vaccine will soon be available. When that happens, we should quickly be equipped with it, as COVID-19 like flu may never completely disappear from the surface of the earth.”
The former military leader called for continued observance of COVID-19 regulations and restrictions including hand-washing, social distancing, wearing of face masks, among others.
Askme2020: Most of the people that organized the protest during Goodluck regime are all supporters of GMB and many of them don't want to go against him cuz of the next election.
The number of healthcare workers infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) in Enugu State has increased to 72, the government has said.
The Commissioner for Health in Enugu, Dr Obi Ikechukwu, confirmed this in a statement on Friday while giving an update on the outbreak of the disease in the state.
He disclosed that the results of 28 more suspected cases of COVID-19, whose samples were collected earlier, came back positive.
According to the commissioner, this brings to 202 the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state.
Of the infections, 154 cases are receiving treatment at the government’s facility and 43 recovered patients have been discharged.
Dr Ikechukwu added that five people have died from complications related to COVID-19.
He urged the residents to be responsible and stay in their various homes when it was not absolutely necessary to go out.
The commissioner stressed that it was important for residents to wear face masks when in public places, as well as keep a safe distance from other people at all times.
He also asked residents to report to the relevant authorities if they develop symptoms or know anyone who may have developed symptoms of the disease.
The latest figure shows that 13 more healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19 in the line of duty in the last four days.
On Monday, the state’s Ministry of Health said 49 healthcare workers had tested positive for COVID-19 in the state.

golddare: The worst they will do to him is to dismiss and jail him for awhile. It's better than dying for nothing in the NE, the truth is I pity the Nigerian Armed Forces because these politicians keep creating more problems.
There are many other soldiers out there that are bitterly complaining but they cannot voice out due to fear of the Ogas at the top..... Soldiers are dieing not because they cannot fight but because of lack of good fighting equipments, welfare etc its really pathetic, just ask an ordinary Nigerian to come and join the NA it will be like a suicide mission to He/She.

Mrs Victoria, wife of Lance Corporal Martins, has been arrested for granting a media interview over her husband's arrest, Sahara Reporters has discovered.
In a viral video published by SaharaReporters, Lance Corporal Martins complained about the inadequate measures employed by the army in combating Boko Harm.
He blamed the Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen Tukur Buratai, for the failings of millitary personnel in crushing Boko Haram.
Lance Corporal Martins was later arrested and transfered to the Army Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking with SaharaReporters on Wednesday, Mrs Victoria said fending for her three children has been her major worry since her husband's arrest.
She said, "A day before he posted the video, he called me to ask for recharge card to buy data but I didn't send it him because he already told me that he wanted to post a video about the problems they are facing in the army.
"He told me to prepare for the worst. So, I didn't send him the data because I don't want him to get into trouble by uploading the video on social media."
The woman said she asked her husband how they will manage their family if he was sanctioned and things go worst.
She said, "I asked him where do we start as a family. But he said I should man up, that I've been the one taking care of the family before now."
Mrs Victoria said her husband was one, who will not refrain from speaking the truth because of fear or favour.
"Day before yesterday, he was on off and he resumed duty yesterday.
"He made a video call with the children after he resumed at the office.
"Not up to 30 minutes later, he called that they've arrested him and they are taking him to the guard room. He said if you hear from me, fine, if you don't hear from me, fine.
"My husband's main issue/complaint is that there is no ammunition to fight in the North-East, no ammunition, if you complain it's a problem.
"They don't pay them well. Navy get more pay, army don't get all their allowances that should be given to them
"I can't hear from him, they've collected his phone and his colleagues don't want to release information about him."
A role model that should be a worthy ambassador for the fight against corruption, a man of integrity I salute him...This is the kind of person we should rally around for leadership position
The people who are suppose to organize the burial are still challenging the dissolution of the NWC of the APC... RIP our constituted authority may your soul RIP....
