JOSCOFELIX: upon all dey armored personal carrier wey afghan get talibian disembark them. Oga apc or mrap is very expensive some goes upto 2million dollar. You just can't fill the gap at once when you will surely need air support and other unit of the military to fund. But corruption have play his card There is no mrap that is up to 2 million dollars, even the new JLTV that the US army uses is like $400k,our military leadership are just corrupt ni. There are acquiring apc and mraps now though,so let's give them time. An unspecified number of apc has been bought from Czech republic though, dunno the specifics for now. |

ugo4u: This is a Chinook helicopter, we don't have this in our inventory neither do we have any Pilot that is typerated on it. I remember GEJ made moves to get some from the Israelis but it was blocked by the US because of human rights violation accusations then. Most likely that photo was Photoshopped. It wasn't photoshopped,we ordered it during the military regime but sanctions blocked the delivery,it's still in the US though,I guess our government isn't just interested again ni,America is alot of stress |

So you expect them to carry sticks and go fight with bandits. Your reply is ignorant bro. Don't reply with your emotions, reply with facts. |

Kaeboy: Oga! No be una dey hype those small boys for here ? I remember how some of you were hyping how skillful they are, and why SSC should fear them on this sane platform. Na una wey dey hype those school boys no dey reason deep.
That asides, bandits attack the country's defense academy successfully, u dey give excuse say na like university. The way some people dey process una thought sef dey worrisome. You know what? When you enter academy or you have any relatives that enters the academy, tell him/her not to fear those boys. He/she will gist you. Lol |

Tonboy: The Dssc list has to be out before any other recruitment process again I think. Last DSSC has been cancelled actually, they even wanted to cancel SSC too sef because they were lots of irregularities in both screenings, but they will be high shortage of combat officers in the northeast, that's why they let the SSC go,COAS (faruk yahaya) don cancel the DSSC,another SSC/DSSC form will come out this year. This info is authentic though,I don post crap. |

DubaiLandLord: The Talibans have more access to finance, where they can train and operate from etc.
Ethiopian couldn't defeat the Tigrayan army, see as people dey downgrade the Ethiopian army, Nigeria is also struggling against terrorists in her backyard for more than 10 years, but una go wail if them talk say the Nigerian army is incompetent.
Some people don dey wail about looting in SA, while bandits and Fulani heardsmen are busy raising down villages and killing people here in Nigeria.
For more than a week now, the DSS said they have found weapons in Sunday Igboho house, still yet, they haven't charge him to court... Nigeria is one of the few countries this kind of yama yama fit happen
Well sha, anyhow sha. The Talibans can't survive for up to a week in any US territory. ISIS can't survive for a week in any part of America.
Only in failing countries do terrorists hold sway. ISWAP spread to Borno south in our eyes, and even killed Shekarau, but una dey tell me for here say dey are defeated... It seems some of you here are comedians, a terrorist group that is defeated shouldn't be able to expand their territory
The Nigerien and chandian militart are not as powerful as the Nigerian military, what is stopping ISWAP to capture Niamey or N'Djamina? Even Somalia that is a yama yama country, the terrorists there do not currently have the capability to attack and take over the country capital... But una want make we dey dance for here because ISWAP is not in Abuja So Egypt is a failing country too because ISIL holds certain territory too there. Wow. You said why haven't Sunday igboho been charged,no be person wey dem see dem go charge, make he show face na. Too many emotions and not facts. Relax bro. |

DubaiLandLord: Abegi jawe! No sane country will want a terrorist group like Boko Haram on their territory. All this talk of Boko Haram capturing Addis Ababa by now is just a pikin talk. Nigerians are been killed by bandits in their hundreds, ISWAP has taken the fight all the way from Borno North to Borno south, but you're still here beating your chest... Issokay Baba say na "in their hundreds" lol. People will just stay in a region of the country and start dishing out numbers like dem dey forefront. Nawa oo. No offence tho bro,u can quote back and not insult. Thanks. |

Lami1996: Everyone seems to be dropping propaganda bro,if ipob truly captured any soldier,it is big PR,they would have shared the pictures. Nobody has a monopoly of violence but you can fight the government and expect victory like that, look at Tigray and syria. Don't be deceived, the Nigerian army is doing a lot of damages in the southeast right now and it is really under-reported,forget all these "dem say dem say",let's call them out online and on twitter, the world must see and hear. Correction: You can't fight the government. |

ariesbull: The incident started after we got news of armed herdsmen in out bushes, the youths organized to put up resistance while we wait for backup. What happened next as quoted below
"The soldiers came in their numbers to arrest innocent youths but the youths blocked all the exit routes with heavy logs of tree at several places, preventing the military men from leaving, then, Unknown gunmen speedily arrived at the scene and engaged soldiers in hot gun duel killing about 10 soldiers at the time. When re-enforcement team of soldiers from Ohafia military barracks enter the scene unknown gunmen have already separated into two, the other group engaged the re-enforcement team neutralizing about 8 soldiers making it 18. Then soldiers retreated."
Nigerian Army sensing they have lost 18 men of maybe 30 men sent, with more unknown gunmen arriving from all angles of the bushes, retreated and took off. Eyewitness believe the unknown gunmen captured 5 soldiers alive and whisked them away.

ugo4u: You argue alot and from the position of ignorance, the person that recorded that video spoke in Igbo that one UGM and a soldier was gunned down, I don't know why you are still arguing blindly. Same way you lied that you got Intelligence that no security agent died when Ikonso was killed, despite telling you that the coursemate of the officer killed acknowledged it, I even told you the course of the said officer. As much as we all want to be patriotic we shouldn't ignore or dismiss the sacrifices of our security agents because of propaganda. Before you people start attacking that "joscofelix",you people didnt even read the comment below that post on Twitter, that thing didn't take place in owerri and it's one soldier shot ,also one UGM shot. No offence intended to anyone tho. |

LTGEN: Rank A Brigade Commander most likely will be headed by a Senior Colonel or Brigadier General. A Garrison it actually depends on what it is and the size ( It could be a Cantonment) /Battalion headed by a Lt. Colonel. A colonel can only be a "acting" brigade commander, the appointment belongs to a Brig.Gen. |
