@iffie Ties you're expected to show are landed properties, family ties and so on. Some thing you can show that will convince the ECO that you'll be back to your country. Yes you can apply for family visit visa. If you had applied for family visit visa would have been good, and if they refuse you visa you're entitled to appeal. Good luck. God bless. Cheers. |
@iffie Sorry about the refusal, after all the thread work you've done. Well, since you claimed you've done your home work properly on this thread before applying for visitors visit, you must have come across many refusal same as yours. Ties is a common means of refusing people who applied for visitors visa. Administrative review is Zero. Reapplying good option, but you must address the point raised initially by the ECO. Did you apply for family visit visa or tourist visa? |
@johnwray Thank you very much. Bless you too. Since I've got no tangible source of income then my bible was my best companion till date, and I'll never depart or deviate from the word of God, since I've now come to know the Truth, I will continue to serve God. Cheers. |
@johnwray Ha ha ha ha...you're the second mother to a child in terms of good advise O....ha ha ha ha....you know I try to help with the little I know....advice was well delivered....like that. Guess what? My lawyer wrote me today informing me that my case will be heard on the 3rd of September, I've not told my lawyer about my visa yet, because he strongly advised me not to get in touch with the Embassy until they contact me themselves. He said he will send his bundle on the 20th of August, unknown to him that I've gotten my visa already. The Embassy haven't contacted the Tribunal regarding decision withdrawer, that was why the Tribunal contacted my lawyer....ha ha ha ha....its a weird system. Cheers. |
@andreeabec: During my appeal review case, I prayed constantly 1am consecutively for 6 weeks for mercy and favour. The holy Spirit confirmed thru dream that my case will not proceed to court that I will be given. A pastor prayed along with me and told me same revelations, that was when I knew my battle is been fought by God. Guess what, the pastor did ask me to ring the Embassy as directed by the spirit, still didn't listen and adhered to what my lawyer told me that I shouldn't ring the Embassy until they contact me themselves. The following morning I'm sure the spirit of God led Johnwray to send me a message regarding my appeal review, that I should ring the Embassy if I didn't get a favourable answer from them I should take drastic measures by sending a letter of complaint thru email. Mirabeelz equally told me same as Johnwray did tell me, but didn't bother. After Johnwrays mail, the pastor rang to inform me that I have to ring the Embassy ASAP that my case is settled by God. Truly I did as I was told Lo and Behold I was told my name is on their list on computer and was told to submit passport. It took them 8 working days to put the visa on my passport. That's divine favour from God. You will hear good news soon IJN...amen. Cheers. |
@andreeabec Regarding your question, UK Embassies in different countries have same Law and Rules but may operate with in their offices regarding how cases are been handled. Refusal rate is high in Nigeria and India, partially Ghana. Regarding your wife's case, if you address the points of the ECO correctly and it meet the Immigration Rules satisfactorily, the ECM will overturn their initial decision...Trust me. But if it does not satisfy the rules, then it will be taken to court for full hearing. If that is the only reason in which your wife is been refused...they will grant her visa by Gods grace, if the Embassy like let them call her or court hearing they will still grant her visa. I don't know about Ghana Embassy that much, but in Nigeria my friend appealed 12th of July 2012 and was called to pick up Visa 26th of November 2012. This is within 19 weeks. Though she said they speed it up cos her husband is a military Personnel. I will advice your wife to ring the Embassy to enquire about her appeal review. She will be told if they're done with the review or not, and if they're done with it she will be told to submit her passport. Your wife should Read Psalm 51, 91, 27, 29, 123 and 150. She should use it to pray at 1am fervently for divine favour upon her case, and for her case not to get to hearing level. God is merciful and just he will judge in her favour. A forum mate sent me email to tell me she rang Nigeria Embassy regarding her appeal review and she was told they will contact her ASAP and if they don't she should ring back next week thursday, that's a good sign of progress. If the Embassy is still working on it they will tell her its under processing. Her 19 weeks end 26th of June and yours is 4th of June. So I urge you to ring the Embassy to confirm the progress of the review. Have a great day. Cheers. |

@mirabeelz You are amongst the best. You gave good advise and counsel Betty21 very well, wow I was impressed, you see this is how we all learn to tell the truth to our fellow forum mates, somethings the truth hurt when our forum mates hasn't got what it takes to challenge their case and sometimes the truth heals when our forum mate is on the right track. You're sweet mirabeelz. Have an awesome day. Take care. Stay blessed. Cheers. |

@bubblygirl78 Johnwray is our man O, I've read all he sent to you he's absolutely correct, he corrected me regarding my 19 weeks too because then I was wailing and gnashing, so he put me right. His answers are squeaky clean. Cheers. @johnwray Thank you very much for the good work and your time, God bless you tremendously. Cheers. |
@bubblygirl78 Yes they gave me a date and stated 19 weeks is for ECM review. Your 19 week commence from the date on your acknowledgement letter and end 5th of July. Mine was 2nd of May, my letter was dated 20th of December 2012 and my 19 weeks end 2nd of May. Hope you're clear with my explanation? A week towards the end of your review ring visa section regarding your appeal review, make sure you have your passport number and FCO number ready before ringing them O, pray before you ring them. FCO number is on your acknowledgement letter. Cheers |
@mirabeelz Oh my dearie, it gives me great pleasure to know that you all are happy in the Lord. And your dreams will all be fulfilled in Jesus name...amen. Love you all. Cheers. |
@bubblygirl78 Thank you darling. Thought you reapplied since I didn't hear from you any longer. Well, we shall over come all these hassles some day, and its soonest in Jesus name...amen. Try my style a week to the time of your 19 weeks deadline ring the visa section and you'll be told if your name is in the next batch of appellants to be called to submit their passport. Just ring them and ask if your appeal review has been done with. The line is very busy continue to ring them till they pick their receiver....ok. Stay blessed. Cheers. |
@mirabeelz Don't mention, its my pleasure. I'm suppose to love my neighbour as myself. So what is good for the geese is good for the gander. The way they overturn my refusal that same way is good for mirabeelz, matadaz, kutklose, TinyO, and others. By so doing it makes the world a better place with peace. So I will not relent until its over. Love you all. Cheers. |
