PharmAlfred: The bulls are having a good run today. Jan 2018 is going to be interesting and will be a definning moment for most stock. Economic outlook has been improving. Q3 report from NBS shows that the economy grew by 1.4%. Quoted companies are posted decent bottom lines.
I think there will be a big rally in Q1 2018. Hopefully ! |

If this is your decision, know that anything can happen in this 1kobo rule.Bluechip stock can also turn to a penny stock if penny stock can go to 0.01.
Just trying to remind you what you should put in considerations when picking stocks now.I strongly insist you go for stocks that has very very good NUMBERS and EPS from 2.00 and above/stocks dominated by foreign investors.
The kobo stocks might start posting fantastic results and good profits starting from Q1 2018 to get shareholder attractions and price stability.
For me,I will be off the market before Dec runs out.Thank God most of my stocks are now coming back.My exit door is already opened........ I will FOLD my hands and watch the rule 1 kobo in action before deciding on the stocks to buy next year.
Mr Loko , this is a good idea ... For e.g If i make up my mind to sell my stocks i asked myself few questions
What time after the kobo kobo drama will i enter back for those fundamentally sound stocks
Will i still able to enter at a good price , What if the price does not go down the way i sold or price has moved up ..For example i sold my zenith [i bought @ 20 and some 22 naira ] @ 25 plus am still waiting to come down to 22 for past few mth.. but no way Hope i won't have to join @ 25 or more if we do not have massive bear bear b4 the result is out next yr |

Mpeace: There is nothing hidden here. They made it clear at the last conference call that they chose not to write back the 20billion and also not to declassify aitoe as none performing loan in q3 as a matter of prudence thus leaving it to the auditors to decide by year end. Pple are just gambling with the belief that the auditors might decide to declassify the loan as performing and also allow the write back. If the declassification occurs their NPL will drastically reduce. Its a gamble. I personally believe in stocks that are down and about to rise, so that I can rise with them. From all indications, the bank is likely to increase on its PAT by about 300% by year end. Not a buy rec. https://guardian.ng/business-services/benedict-peterss-aiteo-group-succeeding-after-nigerian-recessionWe go know how far soon |

Godisfaithful: Good to hear from you brother. Buying all these stocks without numbers is no no for me. One has to be careful in choosing all these stocks when preserving your capital. Be careful of DF...for me, I’m least expose to the stock for now. I’m buying stocks with certainty of dividends, capital gain and more cash flow at the same time... DF...I only have small amount left sold lager part of ..Am keepin an eye on it for now if i need to buy again |

If one really want to enjoy a minimal peace of mind in this our market the best is to play safe with solid companies with numbers and one can enjoy the dividend if bears come visiting lol. This is the quote for everyone... Awa ni yen my buddy..U re right . .Think i have minimal peace of mind with some banking stocks and am sure o dividends .Have changed my plans tonite except for DF |
