Apparently reacting to a statement credited to the
National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai
Muhammed, that Buhari is not the leader of the
party, Shehu said the President was the leader.
“Does it need to be said? I don’t think it needs to be
said that the President is the leader of his party.
There’s no question about it,” he declared.
He added that there is need for Nigerians to
understand the basics of politics as the country is no
more in the military era when decrees are made by
a single leader.
“Politics, as its theory says, is basically about contest
for interests and these interests may be fully defined
by political party programme, while some of these
things may be outside political party programme,”
he said. Where is Liar Moh'd when U need him

Buhari might have vowed to remain natural in the whole issue because they are all in apc, but trust me, if Saraki moves to PDP, that would be political war! Everything would be thrown at him! People are already angry here in the north because he gave pdp the duputy prrsident.Anyway saraki sef go rather beg then have that happen. The guy wise too na! Politics › "South-west Apc will Resist Attempts To Undermine Tinubu" –Chieftain by landinfo(op): 2:37pm On Jun 20, 2015 |
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ekiti State, Mr. Segun Osinkolu, has said that the South- West caucus of the party will resist attempts to rubbish the party’s National Leader, Aiswaju Bola Tinubu. This is just as he advised the national leadership of the governing party to address the crisis over the outcome of the National Assembly elections, which he said could polarise the party. All has not been well with the APC since Senator Bukola Saraki and Hon. Yakubu Dogara defied the party’s directive not to vie for the National Assembly leadership positions. The duo went ahead to contest, entering into an alliance with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party to emerge Senate President and Speaker, House of Representatives respectively. Osinkolu said it was a “gross political miscalculation and misdirected act of vengeance” for some bigwigs in the party to see the battle as an opportunity to fight Tinubu at the expense of the party, when the former Lagos State Governor was only protecting the sanctity of the party’s supremacy. In a statement he issued in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Friday, Osinkolu urged the South-West caucus of the APC to resist being used against Tinubu. He said, “We are not against the leaderships of Saraki and Dogara in the National Assembly. They are leaders of our party who deserve to hold any position of their choice as guaranteed by the constitution. “But we frown at the way some of these leaders have been painting our leader, Senator Bola Tinubu, in bad light. They craftily painted the power struggle to mean a struggle between the APC and Tinubu. This is bad politics and we condemn such in its entirety. “Any attempt to rubbish Tinubu will backfire. The people should not forget that the likes of Saraki, Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and the five Peoples Democratic Party governors that defected and helped the APC to win the presidential poll started like a child’s play”. http://www.informationng.com/2015/06/south-west-apcll-resist-attempts-to-undermine-tinubu-chieftain.html |

Politics › Re: Buhari, Not Jonathan, Responsible For Refineries Resuming Production by landinfo: 12:29pm On Jun 20, 2015 |
Just when Nigerians were groaning over the non-availability of petroleum products, hope seems to be on the horizon. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said on Friday four oil refineries will resume production in July. Spokesman Ohi Alegbe said the two refineries in Port Harcout would begin operations after turnaround maintenance, followed by those in Warri and Kaduna. Alegbe was quick to alert Nigerians over the fact that all the four refineries even at full capacity, cannot meet up with our demand on daily basis. “Even when the refineries work at full capacity, they can only produce around 19 million litres of petrol per day,” he said. “There will still be a shortfall of about 21 million litres,” he said, pointing out that Nigeria consumes about 40 million litres of petrol per day. Nigeria, one of Africa’s top two oil producers, is forced to import most of its petrol products due to its ailing refinery system, which generally runs well below capacity, sometimes at just 20 percent, due to neglect and pipeline sabotage. Major cities in Nigeria are recovering from a gasoline shortage despite the end of a fuel distribution strike as fuel marketers, who are still not importing due to money owed them, have agreed to distribute fuel brought in by the state oil company, NNPC. Alegbe said the turnaround maintenance for the four refineries had been ongoing since November. The NNPC has four refineries, two in Port Harcourt, one in Kaduna and another in Warri, but have been non-functional for some time forcing the country to import petroleum products. http://nairametrics.com/all-four-refineries-will-produce-only-19-million-litres/The bolded shows that thix project started under the watch of GEJ........also all APC warriors have told us time & time again that we shoukd not judge PMB yet cos he is just starting i.e. He is just 3weekz in power so @passingshot, the hypocrite, give to Ceasar hix due what belongz to him.
N.B. GEJ haz already gotten the praise for the refinery turnaround & there is nothin U & ya likez can do about it XCEPT u guyz want us to start judging PMB'z administration from May 28th when we are all evidenced with facts that "he has done nothin sice assumption......9JA is on autopilot since May 29th....... |
