Listen to the defense here, every nation has laws protecting its people against foreigners. The argument here shows nations making laws to protect its indigenous people, and not laws protecting people against people they pretend to share same nation with.

Why are you trying to paint it as something honourable?

Isn't it because they're scared of being killeddd by Terrorist Ipob hence they were forced to sit at home.

You should be ashamed not making it seem it's a norm
the government and rich have manipulated and deceived people into thinking working is an achievement and resting is for the lazy. Yet they pay you minimum wages. The society today is fûcked beyond repair.

It's obvious the south east people are enjoying this sit at home

They like it . I was in Owerri month ago and I experienced this sit at home first hand . During the morning of Monday, you see the youths sitted outside in large numbers drinking and catching fun.

They just like it if you ask me
who wouldn’t? You get Monday Off for free? Stupidity is working for the government and putting yourself at risk to work on mondays , yet they pay you minimum wage.

When you say physically fit, what do you mean?

He is not representing Nigeria at the Olympics? His experience is more vital than his physical state.

He has the whole resources to make moves that deemed fit, so I don’t see where his physical state comes to play.

Greg Abott is a Governor on wheelchair in Texas

old age doesn’t just decline one physically, but also mentally. The Tinubu of 1993 can not be the tinubu of today mentally. Not just tinubu but everyone in general. So that’s what people mean when they ask if he is physically fit.
Business / Re: Importer To CBN: Tell The Truth, Naira Has Been Devalued by Landmine1: 6:12pm On Jun 02, 2023
Why should the CBN prove anything to these blogs and unknown individuals?

News will cause panic buying and selling, it’s unnecessary, gradually the reality will set in that the naira has been devalued and we will all survive it. I like this strategy.

Politics / Re: How Subsidy Cabal Kidnapped My Mother In 2012 - Okonjo-Iweala (Throwback) by Landmine1: 10:19am On Jun 02, 2023
ShaqFu:
Hmmm. This is exactly what I've been saying, government needs to be blamed. Everything we see, hear that these marketers and criminals do, is the fault of the government. Why is it their fault, because they fail to act.

I blame them because they created this in order to help themselves benefit from the chasm created because of their ineffectiveness and ineptitude.

Okonjo Iweala's mother was kidnapped because she refused to pay fraudulent subsidy claims, did the government bother to find out who and who kidnapped her mother? Irrespective of the fact they have many leads to follow?

This is very simple and easy. The companies making those bogus and fraudulent subsidy claims, should have been investigated by the Police because they are the ones likely to kidnap her mother, since one of the kidnappers told Iweala's mother they kidnapped her because her daughter refuse to pay their fraudulent subsidy money. So the prudent thing to do here is to investigate the owners of those companies, trace there whereabouts, tap their phone lines etc...

This is the same thing we hear everyday, government complaining about people smuggling fuel out of the country, yet they haven't been able to parade anybody caught for doing this.

The people who mount and protect our borders, (Customs) nobody have been sacked for failing to do their job.

You even have to ask yourself why Okonjo Iweala didn't take her findings to the EFCC. Any manner of fraud is a crime, so I wonder why she didn't involve the EFCC by showing them her findings, let the EFCC arrest the owners of those companies making fraudulent subsidy claims and prosecute them.

This would have been what is obtainable in many western states, but not in Nigeria where excuses are the other of the day. What a shame.
because these marketers are still those within the government.

It is your financee who decides the people you should and shouldn't meet in her family, since she said meeting her biological father isn't necessary i think you should let it be,she must have a reason for saying that, afterall the father didn't play a significant role in her in life so i don't see a reason why you should be concerned for a man who didn't care about his family,i think you should go ahead with the father figure in her life, afterall it was a man like him that took them in when he abadon them so her step father has every right over her and he should be appreciated for all his effort,it is not easy to take care of another man's child especially when the useless father is alive.
best advice on this thread.

What exactly is he meeting him for? And as what?

Civetcat:
This is exactly one of obasanjo’s first move when he came to power . Tinubu is ticking along nicely. He is front loading all the shocks and the pain will be unbearable at first . But handled properly ,Nigerians will reap all the benefits.
The funny thing is that Nigerian were already paying a higher price for over 10 years .
My advice for Tinubu’s communications team is that they are not doing their job properly.Nigeria is not Lagos where you have a large professional class who understand the vagaries of economics. Even Lagos is full of dimwits.
There is a need to communicate policies, the reason for , the effects and its potential benefits directly to the populace.Go to the hinterland and market squares . Communicate directly with the people .
Get their buy ins . Look for quick easy wins . FVCK palliatives . Use that money and import 50000 cheap tractors from china and distribute them to farmers cooperatives.
Get enough railway rolling stocks on the train lines ASAP and build agriculture transportation and distribution hubs around the lines .
This can be achieved within 12 months . Tell those useless flyover, event center and street light building governors to invest state funds in areas of competitive advantage. For most , it is agriculture.
Absolutely ignore all those so called Harvard agricultural experts who have never stepped on a farm for one day in their lives with their yeye “cooking pot” and “telephone for farmers”programs of the past . Face the reality on the ground and not some half baked classroom theories.

I was against this man tinubu , but I pray he takes it along just like you explained. You have a good brain and nice plan.
