Why should the CBN prove anything to these blogs and unknown individuals?
News will cause panic buying and selling, it’s unnecessary, gradually the reality will set in that the naira has been devalued and we will all survive it. I like this strategy. |

Politics › Re: How Subsidy Cabal Kidnapped My Mother In 2012 - Okonjo-Iweala (Throwback) by Landmine1: 10:19am On Jun 02, 2023 |
ShaqFu: Hmmm. This is exactly what I've been saying, government needs to be blamed. Everything we see, hear that these marketers and criminals do, is the fault of the government. Why is it their fault, because they fail to act.
I blame them because they created this in order to help themselves benefit from the chasm created because of their ineffectiveness and ineptitude.
Okonjo Iweala's mother was kidnapped because she refused to pay fraudulent subsidy claims, did the government bother to find out who and who kidnapped her mother? Irrespective of the fact they have many leads to follow?
This is very simple and easy. The companies making those bogus and fraudulent subsidy claims, should have been investigated by the Police because they are the ones likely to kidnap her mother, since one of the kidnappers told Iweala's mother they kidnapped her because her daughter refuse to pay their fraudulent subsidy money. So the prudent thing to do here is to investigate the owners of those companies, trace there whereabouts, tap their phone lines etc...
This is the same thing we hear everyday, government complaining about people smuggling fuel out of the country, yet they haven't been able to parade anybody caught for doing this.
The people who mount and protect our borders, (Customs) nobody have been sacked for failing to do their job.
You even have to ask yourself why Okonjo Iweala didn't take her findings to the EFCC. Any manner of fraud is a crime, so I wonder why she didn't involve the EFCC by showing them her findings, let the EFCC arrest the owners of those companies making fraudulent subsidy claims and prosecute them.
This would have been what is obtainable in many western states, but not in Nigeria where excuses are the other of the day. What a shame. because these marketers are still those within the government. |

virginprincess: It is your financee who decides the people you should and shouldn't meet in her family, since she said meeting her biological father isn't necessary i think you should let it be,she must have a reason for saying that, afterall the father didn't play a significant role in her in life so i don't see a reason why you should be concerned for a man who didn't care about his family,i think you should go ahead with the father figure in her life, afterall it was a man like him that took them in when he abadon them so her step father has every right over her and he should be appreciated for all his effort,it is not easy to take care of another man's child especially when the useless father is alive. best advice on this thread. What exactly is he meeting him for? And as what? |

Civetcat: This is exactly one of obasanjo’s first move when he came to power . Tinubu is ticking along nicely. He is front loading all the shocks and the pain will be unbearable at first . But handled properly ,Nigerians will reap all the benefits. The funny thing is that Nigerian were already paying a higher price for over 10 years . My advice for Tinubu’s communications team is that they are not doing their job properly.Nigeria is not Lagos where you have a large professional class who understand the vagaries of economics. Even Lagos is full of dimwits. There is a need to communicate policies, the reason for , the effects and its potential benefits directly to the populace.Go to the hinterland and market squares . Communicate directly with the people . Get their buy ins . Look for quick easy wins . FVCK palliatives . Use that money and import 50000 cheap tractors from china and distribute them to farmers cooperatives. Get enough railway rolling stocks on the train lines ASAP and build agriculture transportation and distribution hubs around the lines . This can be achieved within 12 months . Tell those useless flyover, event center and street light building governors to invest state funds in areas of competitive advantage. For most , it is agriculture. Absolutely ignore all those so called Harvard agricultural experts who have never stepped on a farm for one day in their lives with their yeye “cooking pot” and “telephone for farmers”programs of the past . Face the reality on the ground and not some half baked classroom theories. I was against this man tinubu , but I pray he takes it along just like you explained. You have a good brain and nice plan. |

Politics › Dangote Refinery: Peter Obi Supporters Embrace A Symbol Of Progress In Nigeria by Landmine1(op): 12:56pm On May 23, 2023 |
Opinion:
Yesterday the news about the new Dangote refinery was posted on here and you could see negative comments addressed to Peter Obi supporters. I am a Peter Obi supporter and I am really happy about this new Addition to Nigeria.
The recent unveiling of the new Dangote Refinery in Nigeria has caused a stir among observers, with some mistakenly assuming that Peter Obi supporters are not pleased with this groundbreaking development. However, as a dedicated supporter of Peter Obi’s vision for a better Nigeria, I want to clarify that we wholeheartedly embrace the refinery as a significant step towards a more prosperous nation.
The Dangote Refinery stands as a testament to the potential of Nigeria when visionary leaders and innovative ventures come together. It holds the promise of economic growth, job creation, and energy sufficiency, benefitting all Nigerians. By reducing our reliance on imported petroleum products and opening new avenues for export, this refinery has the potential to generate much-needed revenue for the country.
Furthermore, the impact of the Dangote Refinery extends beyond the oil and gas industry. Its success will revolutionize sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation, fostering industry growth, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating countless employment opportunities.
Despite negative remarks and misunderstandings, Peter Obi supporters recognize and appreciate the positive implications of the refinery. We stand firmly in our commitment to a Nigeria where policies are designed to uplift every citizen and ensure a prosperous future for all. The Dangote Refinery aligns perfectly with this vision, and we are proud to support its transformative potential.
In conclusion, let us dispel any misconceptions and reaffirm our enthusiasm for the new Dangote Refinery. As Peter Obi supporters, we wholeheartedly embrace this symbol of progress in Nigeria and look forward to a brighter, more prosperous future for our beloved nation. |

One chairman is with the presidential candidate, elevated, respected and loved by the party leadership and is in court with pride. While the other is hidden behind like a thief, scared, but greed wouldn’t let him rest. Rejected and insulted by many within his so called claimed party and family. He is an embarrassment and often has that look of a hungry Babalawo.
Now notice how I didn’t mention any name, but if you decipher who is whom within my statement and feel hurt, then within your heart you have answered yourself. 😅🤣 |
