I am from Norway, and noticed that there is much strange in the catfish business and more, probably in other frming businesses as well. I am not looking for buy or sell anything.

How many professional catfish breeding farms, nurseries and more exists? i.e Lagos and other places in Nigeria.
Eventually numbers of buyers in the area etc?

The aim with this thread is to help farmers and buyers to get know about each others.

Interesting discussion. Frauds are everywhere, and business is hard to do everywhere. like what I am doing is hard. I am gathering small and big investors so we togheter can invest on opportunities that can give good income. This can be technology, real estate or other. This is hard because people rarely belive in good projects. Right now I am collecting people that wanna invest in a us company that are developing tools that will produce and extract hydrocarbons (oil) from oilfields that before not were doable. The problem is that i,e crude oil not can be extracted. With this tool the lifespan of the field will be much much longer and crude oil available. They have developed this for years in labtrials and pilottests, They now need fundings to build the actually full sized equipment.

If I attract a few big investors or 500 small investors. i do not care, I will manage to collect the fundings and make the dream go through for all of us.

I am evaluating different investing opportunities.  Have found a other investment opportunity also that offers 15 to 20% gaiin 6 to 8 month. This is in a country that has newly found oil. They are building infrastructure and are sponsoring houseloans in same structure that norway did when they started their oil adventure for 40 years ago. The state give the people a fixed rent on their loan and other benefits (tax etc). The thing is if we start with buying one property, the money can be reinvested in new property or two. I am in contact with a norwegian company that do all the processing, following project and also do the sale. They have passed through the countries requirements and are eligble to trade with the houses the country will sponsor in the future. The numbers of houses that will be sponsored are enormous ( if i post the number you would not belieave it). The key for investors is that government sponsor the houseloan for buyers of finished houses, but not the building process. Government wants investors to buy property and build houses.

Property and house are built for 30 000 usd, and often sold before it are finished with average 15-20% gain.

My aim are to gather to collect a list of investors so we togheter can join forces and access this investment.

with the antitheft directory people who list their stolen car should be able to also list a reward. If a user find the car, and somehow report to police and car is retrieved he will receive the reward! This will make it more interesting for people to actually visit anticar theft website.

I would like to know the average price on set up of drill hole tanks and eventually equipmet for bottling.
I might invest into people that wanna start water service. because I not have found place to start the business I have not no water analysis, do not know how deep, what types of material in the ground ec.

Just want opinion about starting small cinema/movie center.

Here people can come and look on movies, eventually use internet and otherservices.
Lets the place will have room for 100 - 150 people. Lcate it in areas where people not are rich but can afford go and look once and while.
What do a movieticket cost in lagos and well populated areas around. I assume it is different prices.
The easiest would be to show movies, then the center willnot be dependent on satelite dish, internet or other.
Regarding location, it can be lucrative to also have tv-channels, show fotball, tv-shows and other.

I see that you are experienced and know the technical of your business (have read many of your threads).

I have one guy that want to open a internet cafè and needs investment. I done some research and see that there is hard to manage such businesse today. As I understand you manage to run several cafe`s succesful. I understand the concept of right location, cafe concept, include other services etc. You probably have found your key and niche to stay business alive. No idea are to small.
maybe you want to buy and sell second hand clothes.
Maybe you want to sell phonecalls with your mobile.
Maybe you want to start a internetcafè.
Maybe you wanna start a foodstore.

The thing is that it must be a need for what you want to do. Food, drink and clothes are industry that always have a demand for the product. But also other industries can be lucrative. Look around you, what are others doing that is doing well?

I am for real. Anyway I am not a millionaire. I am a norwegian engineer that are looking for opportunities regards to my knowledge and experience. If You are for real, and we build trust maybe we togheter can buid something. I want to start with something small, see what you can do. Its's a long road for me to trust you with big investments. But if you prove that you can make earnings on small amounts, then we migh can consider more. If there will be businesse in future, there will be a third party that check records, work, management and more. Anyway, you need to prove that you can sell, and make profits from a single product (buy and sell). You will never receive an amount of money on your account,you will receive the product to sell or eqipment to build something.

In Norway we not work with brother/siters family, we go outside and work with others.

As said, I am a chemistry engineer. I Looked into the waterindustri also. As I understand this can be set up locally? This can be a future investment opporotunity. I have contacts regarding equipment and machines. So with the right person this is something that migh happen in future. Right person can be one that have, land and a waterhole, but not equipment. But also have skills/manpower to put togheter/bild the plant. A person that live in a very populated area where he can sell water for at least N 200 000 -300 000 month. Me myself live in a high cost country and thereby need to gain a sustanable profit. It can be a win win situation.
In Long run maybe the waterstation can be combined with gas station or other. Maybe we can build a new waterplant in a other location. Build and manage the waterplants.

Maybe you have something other that there is a huge need for? What experience, eventually what you have and why you need to collaborate to get your businesse rolling. Example: You have network and workers, but not the product, storage, money or other to do the business.
