Well understood but specifically for birthing ..what other documents does one need to submit?
TechSpot:
The Brazil application is straight forward and you don't need any agent to help you with anything because they have no upper hand when it comes to aoplying for Brazilian VIVIS... I can see most of them have stopped advertising it on their IG pages too.

I wanted to use apsom then someone here told me that they've casted so I paid consultancy fee of 10k to wakanow and then they sent me same form that I already downloaded free from the Brazilian embassy site na so I vex start my application on my own.

Just gather all documents as listed on the site.

Fill the online and offline forms
Compile all your documents which should include:
Valid international passport
6 months bank statement with reference letter address to the Brazilian embassy
2 passport photograph
Original documents of your business documents or
Employment letter, pay slips, leave letter
Letter of introduction
Flight reservation
Hotel reservation
Go to Stanbic bank and pay 36k collect teller
Carry all the documents to Brazil embassy within 10am to 1pm Mondays - Thursday.
Submit

Unless you are a minor (under 16 or 18), there no need for birth certificate. There's equally no need for:
Land documents
House receipts
Tax clearance
Family pictures
Travel pictures
etc.

A refusal it was.
Applied Nov 2nd
Refused : January 6
Based on family ties in Canada and Nigeria and also purpose of visit
Majority have been refused but don’t come back to tell.
For those applying next, your application should be tight,I don’t know how else tho or mybe applicants should write to embassy and ask if Canada is still going on birth tourism at this point.
Success to those waiting!

No reason was given for the request for medical. Our only worry was that it was sent to only me. But we just assumed it was a recent trip I made to Beirut without hubby.

I was upfront with the fact that I'm pregnant so I wasn't so worried about that

At IOM, you are asked directly to state whether you are pregnant or not. They claim is so that you sign an indemnity form before doing the x-ray. I don't know if they share the pregnancy info with the embassy

You invariably shouldn’t be looking at Brampton if you are putting up at your Sister’s for this “Missionary Journey “. Can’t remember now, I think I read of one in Scarborough here. Check around that area of the GTA.

Meanwhile, lemme remind all that not all asking for hospital details are actually preggies planning to birth in Canada. Some are agents, they need the info free/cheap to milk clients without doing deep research as we are wont to advocate here. That was how they almost ruined the US Birthing thread a couple of years ago....
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 6:11pm On Oct 31, 2019
Of course, why will anyone pay and not use the hospital..
Hotstepper:
And I will assume it is important one use the hopsital you pay for not just for visa purposes cuz as it is we do not know the future if they will be looking into that

I applied for tourists visa and I indicated giving birth as my purpose..
I am using doctor ayoDele, and he doesn't give email correspondence. Tho I wrote his details in my loe incase they wanna get confirmation...
I fixed 5million and attached the certificate and also my husband's account statement and mine... And I stated in my loe that the fixed money is specifically for the trip...
I paid for health insurance in case of emergency outside birthing ....
Today, I received this mail and I honestly don't understand..

This refers to your application for a Canadian temporary resident visa.

In order to continue with the processing of your application:

· You are required to provide proof from a competent Canadian Health Authority that formal arrangements have been made to provide payment for health services related to the birth. A letter from a family doctor will not suffice, we are requesting official documents certified by a Regional Health Authority and hospital administration that formal payment arrangements have been made.

This information should be received by email before November 16, 2019.

Failure to do so may result in a refusal of your application.

I do not want to believe that drs r not picking up calls because it is a Nigerian no and I am not the only onr helping ooo.

For example Some people said they have found a dr but wont disclose until they are finished and done yet there are people who needs it now to use for application.

I know for the sake of people couple of months ago, I called nd few that said yes but they want the patient to be in Canada before they book an appointment. I think these drs do now want their names on visa applications.

Atleast make these ppl ask the drs they have if they book appointment even if the person is not in the country.

you seens to be yhe only one making efforts sef lookkng for dr nd hospital which is not fair...others should help as na everyone need this info.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke:
Hmmm
Thank you for your willingness to but I do not think thats the kind of help they need as I believe they can call from Naija. The major problem is having in hand drs that take international parients, hopsital and how to get correspondence

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 10:33am On Oct 18, 2019
For clarity’s sake pls
If I put a call to a doctor and he responds and we fix an appointment without email correspondence
How do I input it to my application
Should I give the details of appointment in my letter of explanation??
Also..must the doctor be affiliated with the hospital??
How much in dollars is ok to prove to the embassy one is capable of birth tourism??
Thank you!
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 6:01pm On Oct 13, 2019
Means you didn’t declare childbirth??
prettyama106:
Thanks dear, for financials I think I am very ok on that level I gave them everything. I think it's the baby thing but they should have sense na I still get u.s.a visa nah, just applied for applying sake, to tour. Never knew they will be this hard.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 3:10pm On Oct 10, 2019
Sure..thanks
Bluefin:
Go and check the doctors that are listed under obygyn for that hospitals website. Contact them one by one until you find one accepting new patients
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 2:25pm On Oct 09, 2019
Ok..thanks
Hotstepper:
Yes that is what it means.....Hospitala r independent of drs here....u only go to the hospital wen u r in labour or emrgency. Anyother issue gynea attends to u in his/her office outside of the hospital. It is a totally diff. from Naija set up.

So POE, u will be asked of ur Dr's information

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by Lankesolanke: 11:51am On Oct 09, 2019
I get that but does it mean the doctor for antenatal will still be from their own hospital when I go to register ??
Hotstepper:
na straifhr forward statement.

It means assuming labour starts while coming from the airport and u land at the hospital, any dr that is on call/duty at that time will deliver ur baby.

But if u will be seeing dr for antenatal then u have to find ur own dr for that.

I hope this helps

Yes they said they would assist me with doctors, they sent a full list of OBY gyn..and their email..would take my time to go through and select..I am getting there..can’t wait to testify and share full transcript on this forum
Hotstepper:
You will still.need some kind of drs appointment nd have an idea of dr's fee so.find one who can take int. patient associated.with the hospital od ur choice as hoapital nd dr r independent of eachother. Well done

The deposit is not out of place. Did they say deposit as a condition to get a letter of acceptance from them for your visa application? Or they are saying to register with them is $5000. Tell them to send you estimated billing for normal uncomplicated pregnancy including physician fees. Once you have that you can apply for
your visa with it. I think they are just letting you know the deposit if for registering.

Also maybe you don’t need to tell them it’s for visa application. Just say it’s for your documentation and planning purposes. Except they are asking specifically but most of them don’t want to even do any immigration related paper work. Because I know it’s a disclaimer in most emails they send to international patients
