@mukina2, do you work in a cyber cafe? |
Lets not deviate, it is indeed very wrong to say that Naija guys lack dress sense. While I agree that some of us lack dress sense, I strongly believe that those of us who have passion for fashion dress so well to kill. We spend good time thinking about how to combine apparel. There is nothing that gives me much happiness than the way I dress. I feel really good whether I'm in corporate or casual. The most important thing is orientation and the need to update oneself. I heard one chic talking about maintenance, apart from the fee on 'pam cake' and that of salon, ladies items are generally cheap compared to guys. Who says you can not have a ghana must go bag full of ladies item with just 5k if you know where to get it, did I hear any one say @ YABA, lol |

The best thing to do is to go to the MTN web site where you'll get the settings and then you activate it on your own. I did that for my pocket pc and I can browse and send mms. |
It is really bad I must say. Wenger doesnt want Gallas to leave and thats why he gave him. I recall vividly that he sold viera so that Henry can be lured with the captain band. Even after that, Henry still left us. Gilberto would have been the perfect man for that position. This guy did very well in the absence of Henry last season scoring goals as well, and I see no reason why Wenger would dump him for Gallas. I guess its another costly mistake by Wenger again, I see Gallas leaving us next season! |
To all gunners, I want you all to forget about the disappointments of the last three seasons. If you recall that our team has been going through some forms of metamorphosis after Graham maliciously ended our invincibility at Old trafford. I can confidently tell you now that the team has been transformed in all departments of the game. We now have a new Tony Adams in Kolo Toure, an hard tackling Viera in Diaby and leading the Arsenal line will be Van Persie, a player who few in the Premier League can rival in terms of skill and whose performances in pre-season suggest is better than ever. Emmanuel Adebayor showed last season that while he may lack consistency he can be inspirational as well as frustrating, and the Togo international is likely to play a major role. There is greater cohesion and our team work is second to none. At the other end of the pitch we have been more suspect than spectacular in recent years, but the arrival of Bakari Sagna from Auxerre gives the defence a more solid look. With Sagna at right-back, William Gallas and Kolo Toure in the centre and the exciting Gael Clichy on the left, the back-line also has the right mix of athleticism and power. Barring injuries, Emmanuel Eboue may find himself playing on the right wing more often than in defence, but competition for places in midfield will be equally intense. Cesc Fabregas and Gilberto are certain starters in the centre and Alexander Hleb and Tomas Rosicky have also slotted seamlessly into the Arsenal side. The capture of Eduardo da Silva may have raised a few eyebrows but Wenger has an excellent record of unearthing gems. The Brazilian-born Croatian has plundered goals for Dinamo Zagreb over the last couple of seasons and, though the Premier League is a huge step-up, his finishing ability could prove invaluable to a side that has struggled to put away chances. With Henry and Robin van Persie injured last season we were lacking a bona fide predator up front, but da Silva could still struggle to get in Wenger's first-choice XI. We will never be OUTGUNNED. I am a true gunner just like you. I aint give a damn if others are beefin us. If clubs like wolves, Birmingham City and sheffield utd are being supported by fans. I see no reason why we should regret being an Arsenal fan. Forget about the trophyless seasons, forget about the sale of Thierry Henry. In 1998, Barcelona sold the phenomenon to Inter Milan and the whole world thought the end has come for Barca, but today they are the finest club in europe. In 1998, when we won double. Anelka who was part of that team left us for Madrid, few years later we went through the whole season unbeaten. Now that we have a relatively younger squad who are eager to prove those fools wrong, I sincerely believe that these young guns would do us proud. Cesc was nominated for the pfa award last season don't forget. Van Persie was our highest goal scorer and Bendtner is more than ready for premiership action. Don't forget the effervescent Denilson and the enterprising, Diaby. And how about Gael Clichy, who single handedly wrecked Ajax at the Amsterdam arena. I laugh when we people tell me that the present team is full of young and inexperienced stars. Remember, Walcott was at the world cup although as a spectator because he never got to play in any match. Even, if you look at the trend in the premiership now. You will discover that there is an influx of young blood into the Barclays' premiership. Man Utd's Nani and Andersson are 20 and 19 respectively. Liverpool's Barbel is 21 and the much talked about Torres is 23. So what the f***? Lets look forward to the season with enthusiasm and optimism. Regarding the fixtures am not scared. I disgraced Man Utd home and away with an injury piqued team, humiliated liverpool at Amfield, annihilated Spurs at Ashburton groove and went to stamford bridge with my 'feeders' team and was forced to a 1-1. WHO SAYS WE AINT READY FOR THE NEW SEASON? Star man: Cesc Fabregas - we keep hold of the young Spaniard this summer even though he had talks with Real Madrid. He is improving every year and has the quality to inspire our young guns to a greater level. One to watch: Abou Diaby: Wenger has been looking for the next Patrick Vieira for years and Diaby may be ready to take up the mantle. Strong, dynamic and comfortable on the ball, the Frenchman is likely to be one of the best young midfielders in the league this season. Manager: Arsene Wenger: Rumours abound about Wenger's future but he will be hoping to mould at least one more great Arsenal team before moving on. Ins: Eduardo da Silva (Dinamo Zagreb), Lukasz Fabianski (Legia Warsaw), Havard Nordveit (Haugesund), Bakari Sagna (Auxerre) Outs: Jeremie Aliadiere (Middlesbrough), Thierry Henry (Barcelona), Mart Poom (Watford), Arturo Lupoli (Fiorentina), Fabrice Muamba (Birmingham), Freddie Ljungberg (West Ham), Jose Antonio Reyes (Atletico Madrid) Best signing: Eduardo da Silva Odds: 10/1 Likely top scorer: Robin van Persie Possible best XI (Lehmann, Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Fabregas, Gilberto, Rosicky, Adebayor, van Persie)

@Oduntayomi, Thanx a lot. I'll try it. Regards! |
@Santannova, I lost my ID, pls how I can I retrieve it? |
Study GRE, 100 questions in all including Maths and English. You have 2 hrs to tackle them, try and be fast. |
@free2rhyme What is wrong with you? why are you crying more than the bereaved? why are you exhibiting your kindergatten and idiotic level of intelligence here? We are saying that the Police force is a wrong choice of profession and no one knows how they recruit because of their wuru-wuru attitude and the next you could do was to hit us, ki lon worry e? You better take time or else, |
@ZIDDY, Haba, you for take am easy, why you come talk like that? no discourage the guy abeg! |
@PrinceND, I really wish you the best in your chosen profession. I wish to let you know that joining the world's most corrupt force is an uphill task, you have to be connected. I really don't know if their recruitment is based on the quota system. Whatever, you just have to know someone who will assist you as their selection process is full of politics. I have seen their adverts on numerous occassions, but you have to be more than Nuhu Ribadu to change their system. You need to see this article by Steve Nwosu titled "I should have joined the police force" few weeks back in the Sun Newspaper. There, you will be convinced that you just have to join them in their malacious and mischievous act. Don't be surprised that what happened to Tafa Balogun(from Osun state like you) and Ehindero would happen to Okhiro soon. Once again, all the best I hope people like you would add value to the already battered image of the Nigeria police force. |
Hi guys, I just got this info this morning that FCMB is recruiting recent graduates in Abuja. If you are interested go to www.careersnigeria.com There are also job opportunities for french graduates. |
@ Busygal, I think you really like givin out BJs, huh? you must be a good philantrophist! |
@coco29, Well, congratulations for finding your love on Nairaland. And to you, 4play I hope you won't let her down. I strongly believe that online relationship is not real. I have had enough of it, after due consultation I decided to call it quit. One, distance is always a problem. Initially, you could deal with it but as time goes on frustration begins to set in. Although, love is the only brigde that connects lovers even far across the red sea. But after a while, after so many chit chattings online, after so many phone calls, you begin to lose hope. Don't forget that you'll be meeting some other people too along the time, and the pressure may be too much that you might consider your position. Eventually, you may decide to opt out of the stuff. After all, the online pal you've been dreaming me of may not be the right person for you. |
@Akumbu, I don't know why you are talking like that. What is bad in asking for the bank that pays so much. The issue of take home pay is a very sensitive issue because employees would feel unhappy if they are less compensated with respect to the immediate organisation or outside. Thats why it is necessary to have an idea of what you'll be paid. How would you feel if u worked like Elephant and at the end of the month, you are feeding like a cockroach? |
I want to believe that your boss doesn't know that peopleprime is organizing a fair. If I were you, I would pretend to be sick even before going to the fair. I just hope that there won't be a sudden twist if you get to meet him there, lol |
I was invited for the so called psychometric test too in Nov. 06 and till date, I havent heard from them. Primepeople did send me the result of the test, and they said BAT would be getting in touch with shortlisted candidates. It's left to BAT now to decide, shi kena! |
Uhm! Don't put all the blame on the man. His situation could get better. The most important thing is if he's hard working and not lazy. If he's caring and responsible. If he's ready to share the little he has with his wife. After all, My friends would say, at all at all na im bad and a selfish millionaire is better than a 'poorverty' hit husband ![]() |
Hajifish, The answer is simple. Yahoo guys are heavy spenders. You can get those girls too if you can spend heavily. How do you expect those girls to date you when your annual salary is less than $100 ![]() |
Jay Z is a good rapper, no doubt about that. But he's not the best. He's more of a bling bling rapper. He's got lyrics too. But kindly recall that pac never considered him in his rappers hall of fame. Jigga wasn't there. That he's a force to reckon wit today in DEfJam does not mean that he's the greatest. I still remember that NaS recorded a 51-49% victory against jigga in 2003 according to MTV to be the king of New York. |
I don't know why Nairalanders like dissing themselves. If you can't help or contribute to the subject in question. Why can't you shut up and allow others to do. Olamitetede needs a brother, if you are qualified, simply APPLY Otherwise, wait for your time. Ma'a salam |
Sethgoogle, Well, Naija girls abroad are the architects of their own misfortune. They form so much as if thier p**** is made up of gold and diamond. Who cares if they don't have guys. By the time get to 40 or 45, they will realise that they have passed their prime. ![]() |
