The fact that fx trader's a buying into this naira falling back to its normal value is surprising...

Naira was trading at 350, they said the real value was 500...
Naira jumped to 500, they said the real value was 700...
Now naira jumped to 700 and massive flew to 1900...

We all know that at some point the market will retest, because the market already over bought...
Which is exactly what the naira is doing...

Remember it initially found support at 1250 and we all were screaming that it won't get to 1500...

Naira dropped down to 950, oh we all said it's going back to its real value...

Baba flew past 1250 and retested 1900, normally we expected cbn to do something at this point which is the reason why the naira dropped....

We all should expect another pump soon, may not be this year but it will surely come and we will eventually see the naira trading above 2000

Reason because the economy hasn't improved in any way, security situation is still a mess, people are still unproductive....

Im not a Carrier of doom but it is what it is...

Nothing like speculators, cbn is only postponing dooms day and buying govt time, if necessary investment isn't done to sustain whatever they are doing now...

reading your post, there is where you made mention of trusting your system..

if that's really the case, my only advice for you is to reduce the number of trade you take..

but on the few trades you eventually take, you have to go really hard on it, or go home..

anything too much is bad

some times being too conservative is draining..
there is no point taking challenge for several months only to end up making no progress or losing it at the end..

this advice no means sey I'm better than you in anyway. on the contrary you are likely even better than me..

but I just want to help open your eyes to see things from different dimensions..

in another word, see things from Gabson's dimension..

Its one thing to be a profitable trader and its another thing to be a profitable prop trader....

The country even made it more difficult because we lack capital to give us that comfortable life we crave for which makes us all to lean toward prop trading...

Prop. Firms require you to make a whooping 150% profit before you get a live account thats how hard it....

If any one is following my diary you would know that yeah I'm profitable but im not a profitable prop trader

I can relate with everything you have said brother, it’s not easy at all, if care is not taken one could spend another 5 years without anything to show for it, making 10 years wasted, it’s better we don’t depend on trading 100%, because that could be really detrimental.. one need to have other sources of income, and don’t abandon your family and other things that makes you for happy for forex to avoid stories that touches the heart .. If you don’t mind I’ll advice you take a break and come back stronger

Focus on your losses
Be impatient with a losing trade, how can a trader be in profit and allow a trade dance back and hit stoploss That person is not serious, and you say you have a risk management plan
so your strategy cannot even tell you when a trade is invalid before stoploss hit What have you been learning for 5 years??,. You need the right education no be to the do stronghead say you have spent 5 years and you know shit... Well your end of month broker statement says it all

Guy as for me na only TP the hit, all my losses are closed manually before it even gets to my stop, I no get patience for any trade dancing below my entry

Keep your wins big and losses small,

Come to smaller time frames so you can take plenty trades and learn quickly because for you time sef no dey before you go finally quit as you the talk so, then go back to the timeframe you love and execute

If you want take my advice, if you no want go and spend time composing a reply so that you can counter me, I leave you in peace

Forex is not meant to be easy, it's meant to be extremely hard. However, 5years is quite on the high side. I hope your eyes gets opened eventually soon, and you would only look back and laugh at this comment of yours.

Samfelly baba fxblue is still okay, I think we should still use it since we have been using it so far for all our competitions. As for broker I wouldn't recommend darwinex though because of their pip value for us30, maybe we should use a propfirm that is still on mt5 maybe ftmo or Fundednext. Feb & Jan were really tough

Some pairs were very stubborn, they have the tendency of taking back their scanty pips. Very annoying. No wonder if u check high flyers in the biz the pairs they trade are very generous in doling out pips upon pips to the trader.
