Politics / Re: Militants Back Pro-biafra Agitators, Give FG June 3 Ultimatum: PUNCH by laprince(m): 9:58am On Jun 02, 2016
bejeiodus:
This is an issue that requires great adroitness. Nigeria is daily inching towards the abyss. Any wrong step could plunge us down precipice. There is a need to renegotiate Nigeria. Everyone must be allowed an equitable stake in the fortunes and challenges of the country.
The bodies should be released to the families for burial, there is absolutely no need to hold on to them.

On a lighter note, these young men love for military ranks is really astounding. Any man who can fire a pistol is now a general.

your last paragraph is really cool. I suggest that we call them the real generals . They seem to know the act of war better than those Nigerian-Military-recognised generals

Seems this man has a better idea about governance. I think he has my vote anytime he's in for the race.

As much as I personally think Atiku is over ambitious, I feel he has a better understanding of governance.

what is left to feel than what we are already feeling.bulk of what we earn from oil now is from deep offshore that is very difficult to attack.so if the govt decides to give out the odi treatment it easy.majority of this guys believe militancy is the easiest way to make money. Let's get this fact average man from this region is lazy.two things they hold dear is sex and booze.they have seen militancy as an avenue for quick money even if u negotiate with them they will still repeat this over again.that is why u don't negotiate with terrorist.the amnesty was a mistake. It always emboldened terrorist especially when in the process you allowed them to think they have an upper hand.even if there would be negotiations. FG should do this only after they have given the terrorist a very serious and painful blow.this would create a sense of understanding that the govt in all its might is powerful.buhari should triple the military effect and let them feel what govt is capable. 4 out of the Chinese attack drone asset from our fleet should be moved to the delta.more naval and military asset too.i know in couple of days Nigeria and the delta will feel this.

Your option is very far from being a solution.

DRISKLEF:
PDP should rather be ashamed of themselves. I'm not a fanatic of any of the parties neither am i in support of the mis-rule by this present administration but i think what we need from the PDP right now is criticisms that are 'pretty much', very constructive.

PDP doesn't have any moral jurisdiction or whatsoever to start calling or pointing fingers when they've been the ones in power for about 16years now and nothing to show for it. I think these guys are all thesame and if at-all they really want to make-up for their mistakes - they should start taking steps that'll convince the populace by first; being a credible opposition and by suggesting lasting solutions to the problems we're presently in.

One.

oga relax. Am not for any either.
This is what makes them opposition. They should fire on.

Besides, the APC is not doing well at the moment.

is it the job of the locals to find intelligence?

let our Military and DSS get info, not to maim innocent villagers.

Did you think that the Avengers are sitting home with the villagers?

To me, the military and other security agencies have not been able to do their homework, that's why they keep harassing the villagers.

There is no incoherence between the military and FG because they are same.

What the government has adopted is what is called "Coercive Diplomacy" in Military Science. However, it doesn't seem to be successful so far.

The government is hesitating to go on full offensive due to the sensitivity of the issue.
So far the Military is on the defensive and still trying to prevent further attacks.

Yea. I get. Just that I am not just comfortable with the operation of this administration.

Its creating so much hate and agony in the land.

Avengers, hitting the news daily.
matching all their words with precise actions.

Military, talking rubbish;
we will squash them, we will destroy them, we will bla bla bla

meanwhile, federal government;
we will negotiate, we will meet with the traditional heads, we will bla bla bla .

The high incoherence between the Military and Federal government is brazenly alarming.

Politics / Re: What We Need Is A Sovereign State, Not Pipeline Contracts – Militants by laprince(m): 5:01pm On May 27, 2016
Goke7:

The SE and SS declared public hatred for PMB during the elections campaign last year, PMB is human like everyone of us, if any group display openly their hatred for you, it will take you time to get over it easily. The SE and SS also added insult to injury by telling PMB and the whole world openly that they had no regrets supporting Jona.

The SE and SS lack political tact, the northerners who supported Jonathan all through lay low after the elections and started reaching out diplomatically to PMB, even the northerners in PDP presently are always tactful when dealing with PMB. Politics is a game and it could go either way. When its not in your side, you act diplomatically and build bridges. Our brothers across the Niger must learn and respect others even when they do not agree politically. PMB will complete his tenure and when another election time comes, every region will have their opportunity again to show their political prowess. We should stop being cry babies.

Its the duty of the head to carry subordinates along.
