Goke7: The SE and SS declared public hatred for PMB during the elections campaign last year, PMB is human like everyone of us, if any group display openly their hatred for you, it will take you time to get over it easily. The SE and SS also added insult to injury by telling PMB and the whole world openly that they had no regrets supporting Jona.
The SE and SS lack political tact, the northerners who supported Jonathan all through lay low after the elections and started reaching out diplomatically to PMB, even the northerners in PDP presently are always tactful when dealing with PMB. Politics is a game and it could go either way. When its not in your side, you act diplomatically and build bridges. Our brothers across the Niger must learn and respect others even when they do not agree politically. PMB will complete his tenure and when another election time comes, every region will have their opportunity again to show their political prowess. We should stop being cry babies. Its the duty of the head to carry subordinates along. |

But, I don't think its that serious. School politics is not Federal government politics oo Besides, our politicians quickly keep their wards outside Nigeria before they ever vie for a political position. |

wins18: I heard that b4 u contest, u must belong, how true is this? Its very true they will come to you. Especially for positions that are above departmental levels, and, or when one of theirs is also contesting for same position. For me, if you feel deeply threatened and uncomfortable, simply step down. Mine was not in that dimension though. If the threat is too much, report to servicom in school. That's very obtainable in my school. its not always to make you join them. It's mainly buying them drinks and creating a relationship with you. They use this to gain access to you, especially when they know your chance of winning is very high. Even some comrados in kegites came to me and said I must buy palmwine for them. I did. It actually made me to know them, but not to join them. If you know the stress SOME go through being cultist, you won't even think about it. |

Nkem4040: I know you are yoruba, so I'll help you. Igbos as Zaki said help to raise children that aren't theirs. Most...80% of Igbo family tend to adopt young girls and boys from the village, I'm talking about mostly age 5-15 yrs old, they raise these kids same way as they raise their own children...same school, clothing, room, e.t.c. Many instances you cannot differentiate by appearance that these kids are not their blood children as they are treated very well. They get them at young age so that they can mold, treat and assimilate them with their children. So that girl you see is a product of this Igbo wonderful assistance program...she not necessarily a maid as the media are reporting. Fellow Igbos know whats-up! I am not ibo, but I can relate with this very well. ibos do this a lot. Even my neighbour is doing same here in lagos. All hail the ibos jare. igbo kwenu |

Sadly the nation has not improved one bit after the victory over the ibos, poverty and unemployment, insecurity and corruption has totally ground the nation to a halt.
That's why we are on this thread.

We need to sack them and run the upstream operations ourselves. lol. My brother I had a year session with the NNPC in 2010. I tell you, Nigeria can't afford it. No be beans. Besides, that would not even stop the bombings. It would even allow for better conditions for the NDA to operate. |
