Wahala!

E be like these people attacking Israel didn't study history or read the Bible.

Israel has always been a waring nation, and it only loses when God says it will!

This may be the time to start #PrayForIran!

Stop playing this Bible game. We are all children of God.

Thunder fire una. Generate this and that yet Nigeria is still poor

It’s a failure strategy. Generating income most times also points to too much importation.

Imagine GSK leaves Nigeria, but still has her products selling in Nigeria. When they ship their products to Nigeria, they pay taxes. This taxes make custom look good, but in the down line, it weakens our Naira and makes our people jobless.
Business / Re: Those Who Want Naira To Be ₦400 To Dollar Are Living In A Dream World - Moghalu by laprince(m): 7:10pm On Mar 24
True! Artificial control of the Naira against the Dollar, is not sustainable. I am not convinced that this administration has been able to convincingly woo Nigerians and other foreign investors to invest in Nigeria. When they do, the Naira will appreciate.

Just the power project in Abia state is already making the state look serious.

When Nigerian Leaders take the bull by the horn to improve Nigeria, the country will look like a construction site.🏗️ .

Jobs and jobs will be everywhere, and will even need some other African nations to join us in the the development project.

Until then, we are still on a trial and error trajectory.

Business / Re: FOREX Crisis: FG Slams $10 Billion Fine On Binance by laprince(m): 1:38pm On Mar 01
IbeOkehie:
The market is what it is. Nobody can force a price on anything indefinitely.

Nigeria has just sent a message to the world that our government is arbitrary, wicked, untrustworthy and abusive.

Investors big and small have been avoiding Nigeria for a while now. I've personally realized a long time ago that nothing owned in Nigeria is safe from government and this is further proof. Who exactly will risk importing major capital into Nigeria now?

The naira is losing value because the government of Nigeria has increased money supply by massive amounts since 2015. The recent CBN audit has proved it, various government officials have admitted it. Binance or Abokifx have nothing to do with it, they report and facilitate currency trades.

Two Binance officers are under arrest in Nigeria. I guess they're the surety for the fine. This is kidnapping for ransom as a national business.

This whole thing is disgusting 🫣

Good Luck to Nigeria.

I agree with you. I know two men (cousins), they wanted to build a gas plant in Naija, but with what Buhari was doing, they just didn’t even send their money to Nigeria again, let alone invest their resources. These are Nigerians living in the US. They have their families members back in Nigeria. They come home (Naija) few times, but have a strong connection back home. They best they do now is to give few students some scholarship.

Now, how on earth can you woo an investor that has no sentimental attachment or family affiliation with Nigeria to invest in Nigeria?

They are pushing investors away with their policies.
I pray that Nigeria succeeds through all these trials.

It is impossible for it to by 57000, rather 5700

When I was sick and the medication was prescribed for me, we bought it N1200. We had a hard time getting the money. Subsequently, I heard it was N15,000 and then N36,000.

I believe the amount is correct. My people are suffering.

Simple.
The people of the whole country have become tired of APC.
The people of Natasha’s senatorial district wanted her as their representative. Yaya Bello put all obstacles in the way. The people trooped out and voted for her. APC tried to use remote control, but failed.

That’s how APC lost.

I have been hearing about her since the election period. She really put up a strong fight to get to this place.

Good morning nairalanders
I think this world is turning to something else

I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend
For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..

Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty .
but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows.
I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.

I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..

I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me .
This is my sweat, something I have work for ...

When you get a chance, kindly respond with your account details to my pm.
I suffered something like this before. Its well.

I hope and pray that these tribunals are doing a just job.

INEC is seriously lacking in her job. The elections are always lopsided. These tribunal upturns will continue to discredit their work.

INEC needs to redeem her tattered reputation.

Did you not hear that amidst all the criminal open show of a dilapidated lifestyle of this so called Naira Marley, that he was still crested as an NDLEA ambassador?? Bros the guy is evil and everything he stands for. This is his end.

Honestly, I just feel like Naija system is failing us so bad. I heard the story.
What is Naira Marley doing with as an NDLEA face?

Punishment before proper investigation is not always the best idea.

I used to work in a spice and beverage company in Lagos. They import raw milk from Switzerland, meanwhile cows are roaming the entire country causing havoc; yet no enough milk for the country to use. Dangote sugar and palm kernel fats were the major materials readily available locally.

And sadly, milk was part of the costliest raw materials used for our production then.

What exactly d you mean by infrastructure?

Do you see any money going back into Nairaland as reinvestment? Any vision?
Are the owners willing to dilute their ownership and employ quality people?

You don't have to start at the top but grow incrementally

Your position is so smart. I like the way your thoughts came out, especially when you hinted at owners not ready to dilute their ownership and employ quality people. I respect your position.

Do you know how many people all over the world are watching the tribunal?

AWS reputation is on the line, they'll also want to know why their own server had glitches.

It's bad business publicity for them.

You think AWS is your backyard?

You think say na everything they dey lie with?
