Again, this is not entirely correct. There is something called Impulse Buying. It is a major concept in Economics and happens when buyers make a decision to buy on the spot, on the basis of having the minimum required information (which definitely includes knowing the price of the item). Everyone buys on impulse at some point. A significant percentage of sales is made through impulsive buying. You are really leaving a lot of money on the table.

I do think it is the other way round. If a potential buyer sees your price online and they slide into your DM, then they are definitely serious with patronizing you as they already have an idea on how much your item is. They will negotiate from a place of knowledge of your price - which will be an average of their own minimum offer and maximum price they can pay for.

Just saying sha. Different strokes for different folks.

Yes, Even the 300w is a maximum. It most mostly less. Also, we do an average of 2hours cooking per day. We most stock in the freezer. But it think it is best we work with the maximum/extreme possibility

Using a 3x generation principle, a 4 to 5kw array should charge a 230ah 48v from low to full daily (subject to sun availability). If you've not gotten inverter yet then you can do hybrid inverter instead.

Nice. How does a 5kw translate in terms of watts of the solar panels? Does it 5000w (possibly 500w X 10 units). If yes, that will be an overkill as I doubt i have enough roof space to them all. Yes, I will consider hybrid inverter option. Been reading up about it lately.

Yes you can do 36v battery bank especially if you are on DIY, the problem will be getting a 36v inverter or charger

The bigger face does about 1.4kw while the smaller face is about 1kw so total is 2.4kw. For a 12v Lifepo4 that will be a major current pull (almost 1C). To use double face cooker I will suggest you either go 24v 230ah or 48v 230ah with the later being the preference. If you do the 48v 230ah you get at least 4hrs of cooking.

Thank you very much for this advise. I imagine that 48v configuration will require that I get 16units of the 230ah cells, right?

Also, in light of your advise, do I need to make a significant increase to my solar array and charge controller? I definitely know I need to get a 48v inverter.

PS: Is there anything like a 36v configuration?

Hi boss, it appears you are on RE on quite a big scale. It is impressive that a lot can be achieved using RE.

Can I achieve same (I.e. to use this same kind of cooker) using a 12v configuration of 230ah lithium battery bank? If not, what minimum bank and configuration can help me achieve this. I presently use a 12v 400ah lead acid bank connected to a 2200w solar array and controlled by a 60a Poems CC. My current consumption is about 300w. But i am looking to port to lithium very soon.

Kindly suggest a minimum configuration that can enable me power my electric cooker. Thanks sir

Funny question. You guys (outside Lagos) don't realize that waybill is stressful.

You have to package the item well, transport yourself to the park (sometimes several parks that are far from your residence), call the recipient (with your own airtime) when you are with the driver so that they can speak and agree on pickup location, follow up with the drive as well when he leaves Lagos and stay anxious until the recipient receives it.

Definitely very stressful for someone like me. Unless the product has a high profit margin, it is definitely not worth it for me.

First of all, Chikeshyboy is one of his several monikers. A few of his other monikers are Mike213 and George22016. I was able to decode this by inputing his phone number correctly and searching Nairaland with it. It will be difficult to identify his other monikers because he has grown wiser by stating his phone number in the coded format. I think he also sells cars (or sold cars) because I have his number saved on my phone as a dealer.

My point is, for someone who changes monikers like a chameleon, he pulled a premeditated stunt on you. He probably knew from the onset that the AC was bad and he was looking for who to dump it on. I can see that he last came online yesterday using this indicted moniker. He is probably viewing this allegation using another moniker.

Stop this gentleman method, bundle the item into a vehicle and storm his house asap and request for a refund.

I am looking to add solar functionality to my system by next week.

Please, wat capacity of solar panels will effortlessly charge a 200ah battery? Kindly help recommend and state the price of an affordable brand as well. I really dont mind fairly used solar panels as I am on a tight budget.

Also, kindly please recommend a good PWM charge controller and the optimal capacity it should be for my battery size and proposed solar panel capacity. I definitely will be switching to MPPT later, but I intend to use PWM for now.
