If u want a curved flap or u wanna make an envelope purse, now it the time to do so. On the flap, mark out any shape u want, cut out, place the board on marco n with d help of the board shape out d same shape

STEP4:place the board on your fabric (ankara,velvet,gele,lace...), leave 2inches allowance round and cut the fabric out. Apply gum on the board (with d help of a brush), wait for the gum to dry, place the board on d wrong side of d fabric n glue 2geda. Make sure u smoothen out rough areas.
Do same for the marco

STEP3: place the board on d marco, leaving half inch by one side and 1inch by d top. Cut marco out. This simply means : (wideness of d board is 11inches, marco will be 11 n half inches) by (front+back+flap is 6+7+5 equals 18inches in length, board will be 18inches while marco will be 19inches).
Maths: board is 18inches by 11inches
Marco is 19inches by 11.5inches.

STEP2:cut the outer lines out, u'll have the purse in one piece. (Front,back n flap), use a ruler to bend the board by placing the ruler on the 2lines on the board.

All clutch purses have 3layers namely:
1. Front
2. Back
3. Flap
The measurement of the back is always 1inch more than d front. i.e if the front is 6inches, the back will be 7inches.
For this practical, we'll use the following measurements
Front: 6inches
Back: 7inches
Flap: 5inches
Wideness of purse: 11 inches.

STEP1: transfer the measurements on the board
