i'm grateful that no religion teaches us bad things?
What about the sharia law? that ladies in kano will not longer ride at the back of okada for sensless religious hypotetical stance. It is morally wrong to humanity, philosophy and phsycology. Let them come to NYC, i will take them to the strippers club. As.sholes.... wink

We have no right to judge. God knows how he does it..what about people that died without hearing about religion? Now u tell me they will also go to hell....dont judge...our God will decide....This bible can say one thing here and say another in some other place and usually the interpretation or the meaning from the bible can be ambigious which is why we so many denominations today contructing their belif to suit their system...

In general, we have no write to judge becasue our God created us from his own perception and we do forgive people for doing us wrong. That God can as well forgive on the last day...that does not mean u should be sinning with the hope of forgiveness on the last day cheesy

FamilyRe: Will You Be In the Labor Room With Your Wife? by larger20(m): 3:56am On Dec 16, 2005
Women enjoy intimacy even more after birth but anyways.I wouldnt want to be in the room because I personally don't like to see blood. For the same reason, I don't want to marry a virgin. But anyways...If my wife says i should be there, I will be there but will stand towards her head side.and that will make me appreciate her more and value her as a wife...

However, I may not want to have sex with her again for like 11 months after giving birth or until the horror in the labor room clears my head.

I.B.:
As most of you can already guessed, I.B. is the short form of my real name.  And I wanted to represent on this website.  To intereact with my fellow nigerians before I lose my nigerian culture if I had not already done so.  I also wanted to represent by using my south south name; PORT HARCOURT precisely.  It's been while since I visited nigeria but I can guessed or recognize the ethnicity attached to some of y'alls names whether real/nicknames; which reminds me of the question I wanted to ask, as a forum topic.

Before I do, please don't take it personal.  It seems to me at least more than 50% of the folks up in this site are from the south west [nigeria], specifically lagos, nigera.  Am I correct? If so, are there any efforts been done to encourage other "nigerians" to explore this forum?  Sometimes the word just gatto get out there.  Especially with nigerians, besides it's 2005.  I sorta surfed my way through because am intereseted in nigeria and her people.  Am I incorrect? Or it's just an assumption on my part?  If it's just an assumption on my part, then am wrong.

Best regards,
I.B.
You  r almost there ..most people here are original the igbos, yorubas and river line people like PH  but did not grow up in the east.Mostly Abuja, lagos, ibadan and PH. I grew up in the eastern Igbo region thouhg and I am going back when am done here

RomanceRe: Man or Woman, Who Should Pay on a Restaurant Date? by larger20(m): 3:45am On Dec 15, 2005
Whoever asked out should not pay becasue for you to agree on the request means you are as well intrested in the person that asked you out unless you play mind games which many nigerian girls tends to do. Well it really depends.Let me give u an example.....

I have known this girl in my school for like three years..so latley I decided to ask her out on a date...we went to a resturant..and did our thing...when the bill came..I wanted to pay for her but she paid her part. I paid my too after all I see in school everyday and concidering we r both students..it does not worth it..

Well the case is diffrent if I was a full working graduate and go out with a student, I will pay for our both meals....

If we r both full working graduates, and I know you and see you around all the time, on the first date, it makes sense that we pay our own way....

In summary, if the level of mans intergrity(including money) is equal or relativley the same with a womans intergrity, both should pay their own way unless,

- Either party voluntary decide to pay for the other...
- If payment will not cause a problem to either parties account
- If the two have similar go go personality (not looking deep into things which I have myself like asking if i am surporse to pay)

Hello Peeps,

In my own view, 70% of deaths in Nigeria are preventable. We just get overtly spiritual about things. This thingy could have happened to anyone. It reminds me of a flight to Jos I had that was meant to last an hour.. We ended up shouting Jesus Jesus for almost 75mins. The EAS flight was obviously faulty on that day. But what happened few minutes after touch down.... The pilot was back flying back again to Lagos with the same... bad plane.Haba!!

My regret is that Nigerians are losing their sense of humanity. I was listening to the radio today.... and it was business as usual. No remorse that the Nation ended the destiny of over 100 persons through carelessness. With the regular ocurrence that tragedies occur in this country: I fear that we might get so insulated that we couldn't be less bothered even for greater tragedies.

Now all these gists of Obj doing meeting with some stakeholders is total crap. 100 died 6weeks ago.. nothing was done .. In fact they said that we are not entitled to know the outcome of the investigation. Why should everything be shrouded in secrecy for God's sake? Now they waited for another 70 18yr old kids to die before calling for a meeting. If we truly live in a sane environment, we should have heard of some resignations. But then that is alien to our corporate culture... You stay in govt n die dia.

A nation that places no value on the value of life end's up either frustrating it or killing it unknowingly. It's Pastor Bimbo today ... it could very well be anybody tomorrow....

May God force our leaders to see in this light!!
I will say exactly all you have said....You have said it alll.....Let the wise hear.....God cannot function if we dont do what we are surpose to do which will include all of the above.....Nigeria hear it now.

the issue is guilty or not guilty. did alams commit all those crimes against his people, indeed against the people of nigeria? that is the issue. so whether obj doesn't like him or not is besides the point!
Very good remark...

Nairaland GeneralRe: What's the Story behind your Nairaland Username? by larger20(m): 7:41pm On Dec 12, 2005
hmm larger_20..Kinda a long story..I have been a sturborn activist type since I was born. I was sturborn to my parents and always argue with them at young age. When the fire was too much on me, I leave the house and come back at night, so my parents have to lock me up anytime they want to leave the house..however this made the situation worse..Now u have known a little about me

"larger" was given to me by my class mates in primary school, I was so smart that people in my class almost worship me. They know my special red bag that I always carry to school. Even from a far distant, they can tell that larger is comming. One day, I was given the permission by the principal to control the school including my classmates. It was easy to deal with people in primary 5-1 but primary 6 students could not obey. So i deviced a funny way to follow them, which is one of my jokes.

I made sure every student was in class then, I tried to organise a comprehension for my classmates. It was during this occasion, when I was trying to teach someone to pronounce "larger lake" from a tortise story....it was well constructed the way our English teacher will pronounce it...so everyone burst into laugh and started calling me larger....some said I am larger than life... becuase i was a child comedian, acting play in church and school etc...

Well the "20" came later when I was gona leave nigeria at the age of 20. I know i will make name for myself when I leave....that was all it. I am actually making it but let me stop here...Since my primary school, I have got a lot of names from diffrent people especially the white men here grin

My advise to those people wth a spare bit of dirt . You can plant a tree or vegetables. Put more fruit trees on your land, plant more vegetables on your land. I see people going hungry in every place and the land is not used to its best potential. Such a fertile land can have a garden of Eden. There is not much work involved in a few fruit trees and vegetable plants.
Permaculture is the way of the future. believe me. my garden is abundant. family and friends enjoy eating from it daily. Forget about making big profits.. Think locally and it can help people around you.
